This hotel combines the convenience of modern high tech with the spiritual beauty of traditional culture. The rooms themselves are constructed around courtyards that give a sense of what life might have been like in Datong many centuries ago. In the lobby and in the rooms, murals decorate the walls with elegant designs of birds or flowers. The cabinets, bench, and floors made of wood and the countertops made of marble work together well and draw on design choices that are classicly, universally appealing. At the same time, the entire room is wired with the amenties of modernity. The toilet has a seat warmer and a light that turns on when you lift the lid so that you can find it in the middle of the night. Similarly, there seem to be motion-sensitive lights throughout the room that light up when you walk in the middle of the night so that you can find your way around. The water in the shower and the bathtub is able to get very hot (which I love!) and has high pressure. There is also a top-of-the-line hair dryer. It's the perfect blend of high tech and traditional amenities! If I have one complaint it's that the room was so hot that I had to open my window to let in the freezing air, and still the room was hot! That shows how effective the heating system is! The serivce at the hotel is also extraordinary! All the members of hotel reception are very friendly. And they send someone to your room shortly after you settle in to give you a platter of fruit, which was fresh and seasonal and artistically chosen it seems. They also have 24 hours service in case you need anything. My friend went into the lobby early in the morning shouting about coffee, and the staff came out quickly to make him a cup. The hotel is also very clean. The blankets, the pillows, and the sheets are as white as snow. The floors are free of dust and dirt and smudges. Everything in the shower and toilet room was scrubbed clean too. And the shower drains smoothly without pooling any water, showing how well it is maintained. Finally, the location is very convenient. You can see that for yourself by just looking at the map. But I would like to add that just outside the gate of the hotel, you can see the Prince's palace, which is beautifully lit at night. What's more, my favorite restaurant in downtown Datong (I think the restaurant is translated as BeiWei Family Garden or something like that) is less than 5 minutes walking from the gate. There are also multiple shops for buying vinegar or wine or shaji snacks. In less than 10 minutes, you can also walk to all the major commercial streets. I love the location of this hotel!

Hotel muy bonito y exótico dentro de la muralla, y con muy buena ubicación para recorrer el casco histórico de Pingyao. Personal muy amable, te dan mapa y te indican recorridos, además de sugerir restaurantes. El colchón es muy duro pero hemos dormido muy bien. Desayuno occidental de pago y asiático gratis. Gracias a las chicas de recepción y en especial a Fanny por su amabilidad.

Habiendo visto muchos hoteles, todos dijeron que había insectos negros locales en la habitación. Me temo que los insectos no reflejan insectos, y todavía está cerca de la antigua ciudad, hay grandes ventanas. Preferimos caminar, caminar a la puerta oriental por más de 20 minutos, y la casa de él está bien. La habitación está limpia y ordenada, y el diseño del patio es único. Sinceramente, tuve una experiencia fantástica estos últimos tres días. La limpieza, que era mi mayor preocupación, era impecable. Era muy fácil moverse por la ciudad; caminé por todas partes durante los tres días, y por la noche era muy tranquila. ¡Es comparable a las pensiones carísimas durante las vacaciones!

La casa de huéspedes estaba ubicada cerca de la Puerta Norte de la ciudad antigua, lo que la hizo fácil de encontrar. Al llegar el primer día, la recepcionista nos recibió personalmente, haciéndonos sentir como en casa. Nos acompañó hasta la casa y nos dio un mapa escrito a mano con información detallada sobre restaurantes y atracciones cercanas. Incluso nos preguntó a qué hora planeábamos desayunar al día siguiente para prepararlo, un detalle muy considerado. La señora que preparó el desayuno también era increíblemente hábil; todavía recuerdo los fideos hechos a mano, mucho mejores que los de los restaurantes Lao Chai. Como era tan difícil conseguir reservas en Fenglinge y Longjuxiang, la recepcionista me dijo que Longjuxiang ofrecía servicio a domicilio, así que pedimos y comimos allí, ¡sin arrepentimientos!

El hotel es muy nuevo y tiene un diseño y una decoración únicos. La habitación es espaciosa, luminosa y cómoda. El servicio fue cálido y atento; teníamos mucho equipaje y el personal nos ayudó con entusiasmo. El desayuno era abundante. La ubicación es inmejorable, a solo unos minutos del Templo Huayan y a 5-6 minutos a pie del Palacio Daiwang y la Muralla de los Nueve Dragones. Al salir, hay muchos restaurantes a ambos lados, lo que facilita mucho la comida. El ambiente es antiguo y pintoresco, limpio y ordenado. En el segundo piso hay muchos animales pequeños, como pavos reales, ardillas y loros. La habitación es tipo dúplex y tiene un balcón con vistas, donde es muy agradable relajarse al atardecer. Además, cada día hay fruta fresca, un detalle muy considerado. ¡La experiencia de la estancia es de diez!

Location: near LinFenXi High Speed Rail Station 临汾西站(10mins drive/ 20mins by local public transport to LuoGuQiaoTou 锣鼓桥头站). Best is that they provide pick-up and drop-off at HSR station, just make a call 3 hours in advance. I dont have local number, so I email them in advance before my trip, they replied my email and provide me their WeChat number so I can make reservation for the pick-up service at the station. Many local tours have pick-up and drop-off service near the hotel (junction outside the hotel), easy and convenient. Services: warm and welcoming services. Tea and drinks in the lobby, luggage storage as well. Room: clean big room, big screen TV, mini bar fridge, bathrobe and comfy king bed. Lavender shower shampoo, hand soap and body lotion, make me feel so so much relax. Laundry: laundry machine are free of charge (washer and dryer). Laundry room provide ironing equipment, books, drink as well. Definitely not get bored. Otherwise, can use phone connect their website to make a reminder while the laundry have done (so convenient). Gym Room: just opposite and same level of laundry room. Treadmill are so new. Breakfast: varieties of choice. Before that I already crave for coffee since it is not so common to find espresso in the local breakfast restaurant. Salad bar, local meatball soup, noodles, dumplings, wantons, boiled egg, fried egg, fried tomato with egg and local cooked food. So many choice and so satisfying. However they dont have egg omelette, it is fine for me. I found that even though not staying at LinFen city centre, it is still fine to stay here as the traffic here is convenient. And here is more quiet and more relax👍 The only thing I dont like is, some customer smoking in the lift and hotel lobby (even though there is a sign in the lift to advice not to smoke), definitely affecting those unlike smoking smell and sick of cigarette smell like me.
