El Big Corn, donde se encuentra el hotel, presume de uno de los mejores espectáculos de luces nocturnas del país, pero esto sacrifica un poco la vista desde las habitaciones. En resumen, este es un auténtico hotel de cinco estrellas que vale la pena probar.

I went for the cheapest and most basic room, and it was very cheap! So whilst this review might seem negative here and there, it's merely a description of what I expected. Firstly, it was January and was unusually cold for Zhengzhou, having recently snowed and with sub-zero temperatures. So I expected the room to be cold, as heating isn't the norm in this part of China (as it is in the North). But the air con which one normally relies on, only blew cold air and for some reason wouldn't go above 17°C, so I turned it off. (pic) The room had windows, but was behind a facade and allowed in very little daylight. (pic is the daytime pic of the window without the room lights on). Instead of the Queen bed I expected, I had two very large singles, so I doubled up on the duvets and I was very warm whilst in bed. I found the small things annoying, like plastic slippers that hurt your feet (pic) that other people have worn; coat hangers in the bathroom but not even a nail in the door to hang your coat. I used a broken edge of the door to hang my coat(pic) . And two paper cups (no bottled water but the kettle worked well). And only one towel, albeit a large one. And the big gap all around door (pic) which let in smoking smells from other rooms, as well as the light from the hall. The pillows, and bedding were comfortable and clean. The hot water was hot (I didn't dare to shower because of the cold). The w/c functioned well, and although the beds were characteristically hard, I slept very well. There were better rooms free which they could have given me, but they chose to give me an inferior room, which I am reviewing. The TV worked but I couldn't get any channels on it. I've successfully used that type of TV before so I don't know what I was doing wrong. WiFi was good. The decor appeared 'grubby' but this is normal in China. Check-in was quick and OK. I booked a (free) lift to airport for the next morning, but when I turned up at the time agreed, there was nobody at reception, so I took the subway, which was adequate. I recommend it if you are on a budget. It was cheap. I'll try somewhere else next time. The location is great and there's an abundance of hotels in the area.

The location is amazing and up until the last few hours we were very satisfied with our stay. They gave a free upgrade to their newly refurbished 4th floor and that room really was awesome. We were not aware they cooked dinner well so we are out but should have dined at the Homestay. Breakfast was very simple but satisfying. They provide a transfer to Shaolin in a super nice car and plenty of free water to take with you during the day. So far so good. Now perhaps we are lost in translation but we indicated having a ride to our next stop charging between 260 and 380 through the didi app. Waaayyyy to expensive they said and offered to call a cab. The cab however was 445, a much higher rate. All rates included the toll. We asked about the type of car and were shown a luxury car. That car and that price were similar to didi premier so we said okay. Then they said it would take half an hour. We didn’t want that so said we would just go for the didi. They then said the taxi would be there faster. As you may guess; it was not. We ended up waiting well over half an hour and the taxi was a regular taxi. They ride was good, driver friendly etc but we felt a bit off about the way this went down. Again: could be lost in translation here so if you just arrange your own ride you will have an awesome stay with them. Ask for the nice room on floor 4! Picture is the view from our room.

First thing to say is that this is not an actual Four Seasons hotel. It is independently owned and operated. Not sure if this is with or without permission, but whatever the case the standards are not that of an international five star hotel. The rooms were fine but the lake they overlooked was obviously artificial and water looked a bit stagnant. Swimming pool is amazing, breakfast was pretty average.

Stayed for 6 nights. I do not usually give poor reviews as I know competition amongst hotels is tough but I do want to share my experience so that other customers can make an informed decision. Overall, my stay was alright but not outstanding (probably subpar for China’s hospitality standards). An aspect I enjoyed was the location. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from Yanzhuang metro station. As this hotel is located in residential area, food/lifestyle options are largely catered to locals - not too worry as they are mostly modern and suitable for the younger crowds too. For the negative aspects: 1. I felt that the service provided by hotel staffs were mediocre at best. The vibes I got was that they hated their job and being there. Basic things was not done on check-in day. For eg. introducing the hotel and its facilities, establishing communications, and informing me of my entitlements - free afternoon tea on day of check-in, check-out timing, daily coffee etc. When I returned to the hotel to rest, they would stare at me coldly which made me fairly uncomfortable. 2. Daily housekeeping was done properly and thoroughly, although there was an incident where housekeeping entered the room at 10.30am when I was still asleep. I do feel its quite inappropriate to enter the room that early, especially on a Saturday. The hotel should strongly consider fixing the housekeeping indicator or implementing a mechanism so that housekeeping knows when to enter the room. 3. Maintenance of the room could be improved. For example, the toilet flush was barely working (required multiple flushes after each use) and the water temperature fluctuates a lot when showering. The light switches were not intuitive to use and some were spoilt too. In summary, I was taken aback by the subpar standard as other branches from this hotel chain has been excellent. While I enjoy the convenient location, I will probably not stay here again the next time I visit Zhengzhou. Please feel free to contact me if you require further information. Thanks.

El hotel es Yuda International Trade, rebautizado como Wanda's Jiajin Hotel. Es un hotel antiguo con instalaciones muy bien mantenidas. El vestíbulo es muy bonito y combina estilos chino y occidental. El cuadro es de bronce, no un cuadro. El tercero El cuadro también es una obra de arte y los muebles también son buenos. Esta vez me quedé en la habitación 3606, que está en un piso alto y tiene una buena vista. es que llueve y no puedo disfrutar del hermoso paisaje de Zhengzhou. ¿Las cortinas y el pequeño despertador son diferentes? Para el desayuno, hay sopa picante local, que es perfecta si se combina con palitos de masa fritos. Debo darle el visto bueno. El agua de la piscina también es muy clara. Mi hijo y yo nos bañamos durante una hora y media. También hay bádminton, tenis de mesa y otras instalaciones. Zhang Fangfang en la recepción fue muy servicial e incluso me dio un paraguas para el estacionamiento cuando llovió. El servicio del hotel tiene un fuerte estilo Wanda, saber lo que necesitas y tener tranquilidad.
