La estación de tren de Shijiazhuang me llevó a la estación de tren de Shijiazhuang, pero no podíamos ir cerca porque la calle estaba cerrada. Aproximadamente 500m nos caminamos y mi maestro me ayudó a traducir en el check-in, ya que estaba muy cansado después del largo vuelo de Australia que siguió directamente a la 7:00 viaje en tren. La habitación se ha enfermado un poco de fumadura de cigarrillos y la mala calidad del aire parecía estar en algún lugar. He estado corriendo mi limpiador de aire portátile toda la noche. La cama estaba muy cómoda y todo parecía estar en muy buenas condiciones de trabajo, aparte del termostat. A pesar de intentar reducir la temperatura de la habitación a 16-18°c, se quedó en 23-24°c, que es demasiado alto para mí. Tenía una habitación de la reina de la boutique que se quemó muy caliente al abrir las cortinas espesas. Es tranquilo y limpio.

We had an outstanding stay at this hotel. We stayed in a double room with Mountain View and the room was packed with lots of water and toiletries! They also gave us free fruit on the first day. All the staff from the house cleaners, front desk clerks, ski pass clerks, to the boys at the ski rental equipment desk were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a large assortment and an omelette station, yum! The gym was really nice and large but only had one yoga mat. The pool area was good but the small heated pool was rather luke warm. Best thing was this was a ski in and ski out hotel we didn’t have to leave it everything we needed to rent and do was right here! Also the Chinese restaurant on the top floor was SO delicious and staff again were so nice! Definitely coming back here for our yearly ski trips

**Hotel Review: Aesthetic Excellence Overshadowed by Comfort Failures** Our recent stay at this supposedly 5-star hotel left us with mixed feelings. While the hotel clearly invested heavily in aesthetics, creating a visually stunning environment that looks fantastic in photos, the design seemed to prioritize form over function, ultimately compromising our comfort. Sadly, this became a deal-breaker for us. The most glaring issue was the room's ventilation and temperature control—or lack thereof. We visited in early March, and the entire building was excessively heated. Despite being from a tropical country and accustomed to warm weather, I found myself sweating in shorts and a singlet. The staff, though polite and eager to help, seemed powerless to address the issue. They provided us with a small portable AC unit, which was better than nothing, but it was clear from their demeanor that this was a recurring problem for guests. Sleeping was a nightmare. The only way to cool the room slightly was to keep the windows open, but this meant having the blinds and curtains up, allowing outside noise and light to flood in. The choice was between sleeping in a sauna-like environment or enduring the disturbances from outside. Needless to say, we had a terrible night's sleep and were relieved to check out after just one night. On a positive note, the service was impeccable. The staff truly deserve recognition for their efforts to assist guests despite the limitations they faced. The breakfast spread was also a highlight—delicious, varied, and reasonably priced, especially if you inform them in advance about adding breakfast to your stay. The room amenities were top-notch, and the spaciousness of the room added to the overall sense of luxury. We got a family suite which was plenty spacious and came with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 bathtubs and a living area. However, these positives couldn’t outweigh the discomfort caused by the poor temperature regulation. During our trip, we stayed in four different cities across China, and this was the only hotel that lacked proper air conditioning and heating controls. For a 5-star establishment, this is a significant oversight. In conclusion, while the hotel excels in aesthetics, service, and amenities, the lack of a well-thought-out solution for room temperature is a major drawback. Management needs to address this issue with a long-term fix. After all, no matter how beautiful a hotel looks, it’s hard to appreciate it when you can’t get a good night’s rest.

During the past few days in Zhangjiakou, the most unforgettable thing is not the passion of the track, but the emotion brought by the front desk. My family sent a box of sports drinks before I left. I made sure to make sure it was delivered on the day of the game. The result was that I, a road ******, filled in the wrong district address. The courier was sorting from the south of the city to a novice post office in the north of the city. Just after the race ended at 4 p.m., the logistics information showed that ”the post office is already at the post office,” but we had to leave for the next city at 5 p.m, and looked at the postoffice address 10 kilometers away on the map, stamping our feet in a hurry. When she heard this, Ms. Park comforted me by saying, ”Don't worry, I'll find a way,” grabbing the keys to her electric car and running out. She returned 20 minutes later, sweating and panting, saying, ”The sorting officers had the wrong zoning area. The bathroom and amenities were equally clean, and the smart room features worked perfectly. I especially loved the “sleep mode” function, which turned off the lights and closed the curtains automatically — such a thoughtful touch that made it easy to wind down without even getting out of bed. The location is also a strong point. It’s close to supermarkets and smaller local restaurants, which was very convenient day-to-day. While it’s a bit further from the main built-up city area, it’s still within walking distance of livelier spots. What makes it particularly special is its proximity to nature — being close to the mountains and nearby national parks is a big advantage if you enjoy that kind of setting. In terms of amenities, I really appreciated the free laundry (wash and dry), as well as the steamer provided for clothes — both were incredibly useful during a longer stay. One thing to note is that this branch doesn’t appear to have an on-site restaurant, even though one may be mentioned in the listing. A gym and spa are also advertised, but I didn’t personally see or use them, so I can’t confirm their availability. My only real downside was that the walls are quite thin, and noise from other guests could sometimes be heard. However, the staff handled this situation very well when it arose. What truly stood out to me was the staff. They were consistently warm, welcoming, and helpful. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated that they spoke English well, which isn’t always the case even in larger cities. They went above and beyond — even adding me on WeChat to assist with questions, provide recommendations, and check in when needed. Their kindness and attentiveness made a big difference in my stay. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for travelers who value cleanliness, thoughtful amenities, and genuinely excellent service.

Un hotel con excelente ubicación geográfica, especialmente adecuado para un breve estadía y para un lugar de ocio en la ciudad. El agua de los coches de día es muy incómoda. La noche está en un mercado noturno brillante. Una vez entrado el hotel, se tranquiliza inmediatamente y se tranquiliza en el círculo. Todo alrededor es un lugar para comer, unos pasos a la vieja calle Nanchang, muy conveniente, ir a unos 3 kilómetros es el Museo del Gran Canal, excepto un parque de estacionamiento, otros son muy buenos.
