¡Este hotel en el desierto es simplemente increíble! Tanto el diseño exterior como el interior son de muy alta gama, con un estilo moderno que se mezcla con elementos del desierto. No importa dónde tomes fotografías, podrás tomar fotografías tan hermosas como postales. Después de publicar en WeChat Moments, muchas personas me preguntaron dónde tomé las fotos. La señora de recepción estaba muy entusiasmada. Ella no sólo me ayudó con mi equipaje, sino que también me dio un plato de fruta. El servicio de mayordomo aquí es particularmente encomiable. Había un joven mayordomo que me siguió durante todo el viaje, me ayudó a organizar el itinerario e incluso buscó buenos lugares para tomar fotografías con antelación. Era más considerado que un guía turístico profesional. Lo que más me sorprendió fue que el desierto estaba a sólo unos pasos del hotel. A las 5:30 de la mañana, la ama de llaves me pidió que me levantara para ver el amanecer. En ese momento, las dunas de arena estaban doradas bajo la luz de la mañana, como si estuvieran rociadas con una capa de polvo de oro. Fue hermoso. Por la noche, me senté en el pabellón del hotel para ver la puesta de sol. Las sombras de las dunas de arena se extendían tan largas que realmente hacían sentir a la gente la concepción artística de ”humo solitario elevándose en el desierto”. La habitación del hotel estaba muy limpia, la ropa de cama era suave y era muy cómodo dormir. Acostado en la cama por la noche, puedes ver el cielo lleno de estrellas a través de la ventana. Es una pena que sólo me quedara una noche y no me divirtiera lo suficiente. ¡Ya estoy planeando traer a mis padres para que se queden otros tres días el próximo mes!

We stayed at the hotel in late 2025.3 Everything exceeded our expectations. When I book, it seems the location outside the city is a drawback of this hotel, which is compensated by a free pickup. But for a sightseeing trip in ZhangYe and with services the hotel has to offer, the location doesn't matter at all. Not to mention that the hotel's car+driver offer is quite competitive compared to what we have pre-booked. ###Room###: The room was spacious with comfortable beds and lots of amenities. WiFi speed is decent. There is also a public washing & drying machine, where the maid offered to wash our clothes. ###Restaurant###: The breakfast was plenty. The dinner offer a wide variety of local and standard dishes at an accpetable price. We got a free decent late night snack/dessert (with milk for children) delivered to the room at night. ###Staff###: The staff was very attentive. It started with the driver waiting at the train staion exit. Then we were greeted at the hotel by a staff with a good command of English. The staff has good knowledge of sightseeing spots in ZY. At dinner, the staffs made their best to help us understand the menu, patiently expained the food choices, as well as help estimate how much food we should order. (We are traveling with 2 children.) When we arrive back at the hotel in the evening, they enthusiasticly offered to help carry our stuffs. Tips are not expected nor accepted. If I have to comment, a moisturizing lotion and extra blankets in the room would help when the weather is cold. This hotel will definitely be my first choice if we ever come to Zhangye again.

We spent 9 days around LanZhou- XiNing - YinChuan staying in the top 5-star hotels in all 3 cities. We can easily conclude that Hyatt Regency LanZhou is the best by a long shot. We were fortunate to have Mr. Yuan of the front desk arrange all our pre check in request. And for a smooth check in- we were lucky to be received by Ms. Paris. She was very gracious and professional. Breakfast at the hotel should be one of LanZhou’s tourist attractions- such a memorable experience. We will definitely be back in the future.

On baidu map, it says that from Zhangye railway station to the hotel is about 3 km but when actually navigating my way over while carrying a luggage, it was so much further than I'd expect because Zhnagye's road and traffic are quite chaotic. Many traffic lights aren't even in operation and there are quite a few (3 I think) t+junctions that pedestrian have to cross via the underpass. The cars doesn't quite obey the traffic lights, so be careful and cautious. For the hotel itself, it's definitely one of my favorite overall, out of my 3 hotel stays during my trip. According to the receptionist I was offered a room upgrade, so thank you! There were also lots of free treats evertime I cleared it, so thank you again! Love especially the red dates yogurt, it's definitely a must try (although they were 2-3days after expiry). I even went out to the grocery to get more! Regarding the amenities, the air conditioner works but can't be controlled. Tried setting temp to 5 degree Celsius (lowest settings) and 30 degree celcius (highest setting), both doesn't work. It seems like it is fixed to room temp +/- a few degrees based on the temp outdoor. One of the day I had sunburn and wanted to cool off but due to how the temp was determined, I have no choice but to sweat it out. Other than that, the tap water here had very visible residue that you can tell that it isn't clear, so I really recommend not using it for drinking water boiled or not. Aon my last day, I wanted to try the bathtub but when I turned on the tap, I had a shock. The water that came out was brown, so I cancelled my initial plan of using it for relaxation 😕. There is also a humidifier provided and I am super grateful for that, however the water ran out on the 2nd day and I can't seem to fill it up correctly. The toilet bowl is also a smart toilet bowl, but I didn't realized it after closer inspection while trying to find how to flush. Lastly, I was so looking forward to the stars celling but it's kinda sad that you can't turn it on on its own without having the other lights turned on as well. Which honestly defeats the purpose of having a star gazing celling.

We arrived at the accommodation when it was raining heavily. There were a lot of leaks from the roof, when we entered the room we simply saw that the mattress was completely wet as a result of the leak. We then moved to another room where there was a leak in the bathroom as well as a lot of dirt, including in the toilet. In the meantime, the girl at the desk honored us with a very tasty local watermelon. She apologized for the situation and moved us to another room. The next room was a huge room, I think it was their suite. The room itself was really comfortable and large, but it was simply full of spiders and cobwebs. We decided that we would still stay in the room despite its poor maintenance. They cleaned the room for us a little, but it didn't help, but we had no more strength to complain. We cleaned it ourselves so that the stay would be reasonable. It should be noted that the place only has a solar water heater, so on cloudy and rainy days there will be no hot water as happened to us on the day of arrival. We asked the staff in the evening for tomatoes and onions and they happily gave us them free of charge. This is noteworthy and thank you for that. It should be noted that the Didi does not always arrive at the accommodation location, they offer a paid shuttle, which is convenient. On the second day we went out to the dunes at sunrise, the guy at the desk insisted that we would be cold and gave us some kind of sand socks. Only when we returned did we realize that it was actually a fee of 20 for both of us (just like on the website, and much more than supermarkets in the area). We did not understand why we were not told that it was a fee, plus it looked used and did not come in a plastic wrap. Apart from this incident, the staff was nice and helped us with the shuttle (for a fee). The breakfast was great, and they tried to help us according to our vegetarianism. We wanted to extend our stay after cleaning the room ourselves and it was decent and good, but the price was high for us, which is perfectly fine and reasonable on their part, and we decided to leave.

Usé la calefacción ya que las montañas se enfriaban rápidamente cuando se ponía el sol. La habitación impecable era grande con dos camas dobles, un televisor y un escritorio. El baño tenía inodoro y ducha integrados, así que estaba húmedo. Había mucha agua caliente, aunque encenderla era cuestión de pulsar un botón. ¡Aprendí algo nuevo! Se proporcionaron artículos de aseo y toallas de papel (otra novedad). El dueño me llevó a Maiji Shan. Lamentablemente, estaba cerrado; la lluvia había provocado la caída de rocas, lo que hacía peligroso subir las escaleras. Sin embargo, tomé algunas fotos. Esta fue mi primera parada en China y estoy tan feliz que me quedé en Dunhuang en el Hotel Baibali. Esto será por mucho tiempo mi primera notable impresión de China, su pueblo y su cultura. La ubicación es perfecta si quieres quedarte un poco más lejos de la ciudad y disfrutar del silencio de estar más cerca del desierto y el estupendo diseño del lugar. La habitación es hermosa y cómoda, todos los toques finales se refinaron todos los días y después de 24 horas de viaje; una generosa placa de frutas y snack que me asoló dulcemente a Dunhuang al llegar y me despedieron justo después de media otoño con un hermoso bolo lunar. Este lugar es para personas que buscan una vida ...Promueve un ritmo lento y para comprender realmente el valor de los hoteles que realmente necesita pasar tiempo allí. Cons: El baño es muy pequeño.Si tiene más de 177cm / 73kg o tiene una gran construcción, no puedo recomendarle que se quede aquí. Me quedé ahogando en las paredes y el cortina de ducha se acercó a mi piel media ducha – mi mayor descenso. La habitación se quema, llena y huele si desactivas el aire acondicionado durante los días de verano. He cometido un error. Le sugeriría que el hotel instalara sensores para manejar la temperatura o el aire fuera de las habitaciones cuando los huéspedes están fuera. El desayuno es simple – se ve bien, pero se vuelve repetitivo y no se puede elegir de un menú.

Me gustaría agradecer por su nombre al ama de llaves Xiao Wang, quien pacientemente nos guió sobre cómo tomar fotografías de los parámetros del aire acondicionado y también nos proporcionó un soporte para teléfono móvil.
