We enjoyed our stay at the Intercontinental Bahrain. The location was perfect for us with the Manama Souk and Bahrain Harbour area nearby. There were many good restaurants on site and nearby. It was also close to lots of cafes and shops. In the near future there will also be a metro station nearby. Check in at the hotel was smooth. We were even able to add on a breakfast for our last day and make adjustments to our reservation request in person. We rented a car and the valet service was very good during our stay. We booked a king bed room and it was nicely appointed. They had a couple of nice chairs, large TV, coffee/tea station, mini fridge with bar and a table side console that controlled the lights and temperature throughout the room. The TV had screen mirroring and Bluetooth features that were easy to connect to. Our room had a large fruit platter which had perfectly ripe fruit and we were delivered 3 small chocolate platters during our stay because of Eid celebrations. The pillows were a little soft for us but they have a pillow menu that we utilized. Our room was very quiet for most of our stay but our neighbours above and beside were unexpectedly loud the last night and we had to call for assistance a couple times. The bathroom had very nice products including lotion, body wash, conditioner and shampoo. The shower was nice too but when using the rain head we found the water leaked out very easily and made the floor wet. There was a speaker in the bathroom but we could not figure out how to connect to it. The pool area was awesome and relaxing on the rooftop of the Regency tower. The hotel had two pools but the one on the mezzanine level by the restaurants was closed during our stay due to Ramadan celebrations that had just finished. The pool had lots of different day bed options, large towels and some very good cocktails including one of the best Pina coladas I've had in the middle east. The wifi was good throughout the hotel but it was a bit spotty in the corners at the pool. The change room had lots of lockers and large shower stalls that had the same nice products from the hotel bathrooms. They have a large health club/gym in this area too and a racquetball court. Manama is a foodie paradise and there are many top notch restaurants around so we opted to eat offsite for most of the days. We did try the breakfast on our last day and we paid 12.5 BHD per person. There is a good spread including pastries, cheese, eggs to order (including a very good shakshuka), western breakfast items, three kinds of bacon (including pork), pork sausage to order and a good honey selection. The best part of breakfast was the fresh juice. They offered us late check out which we appreciated and it was easy to check out at the counter but the valet service was very busy just after 1 pm and the traffic made it difficult to get out and to the airport in the rental. We spent maybe an extra 10 minutes to get out but every other day we had zero issues using the valet and roads nearby. The stay at the Intercontinental was very relaxing and we felt refreshed for each day exploring Bahrain. We would recommend this hotel to friends and family visiting Bahrain.

The service at check in was wonderful, but at checkout out was dismissive and uncomfortable. If you’re looking for a quiet evening, this is not the place. However, if you are looking to enjoy the nightlife, this is a good location. The room was beautifully presented however the a/c was either exceptionally cold or, if you elected to switch it off, condensation literally ran from the walls. A nice enough and affordable hotel with some concerns. I would still consider staying again at this price point and location.

Very pleased with the professional of the worker at this hotel. They were very welcoming and quick Chen in and out. I really recommend this hotel for solo travelers.

Oriental Palace Hotel, Manama – Central but Dated Oriental Palace Hotel in Manama is centrally located, making it convenient for travelers who want easy access to Manama Souq, nearby restaurants, shops, and main transport routes. The location is the hotel’s strongest advantage. However, despite the convenience, the rooms are very old and not clean, and the furnishings are clearly outdated. Maintenance and cleanliness do not meet acceptable standards, which significantly affects comfort. The hotel has an old-school character, but unfortunately this comes across more as neglect than charm. Staff members are polite and generally helpful, and check-in and check-out are straightforward. Service is acceptable, but it does not compensate for the condition of the rooms. Overall, while the hotel may appeal to travelers on a tight budget who prioritize location over comfort, it is important to note that hotels in Manama are generally very expensive, and for the price paid, the quality here does not offer good value. Travelers seeking cleanliness, modern facilities, or comfort may want to explore other options.

Overall, it was a good stay. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and the staff were courteous and helpful. The location was convenient, making it easy to get around. A comfortable option for both business and leisure travelers.

El hotel ofrece un excelente valor con una ubicación privilegiada, un aparcamiento conveniente y unas vistas agradables que contribuyen a dormir tranquilo. Sin embargo, la limpieza, la respuesta del personal y la calidad de las instalaciones podrían utilizar algunas mejoras para mejorar la experiencia.

Estoy contento con mi elección. El hotel es decente y está bien ubicado, cerca de una zona con una gran cantidad de cafés y tiendas nacionales, a poca distancia de muchas atracciones (World Trade Center, Museo Nacional, Mezquita Al Fateh, etc.). A unos 20 minutos a pie (hacia la zona de Jufair se puede cruzar la calle por un puente peatonal) se encuentra una pequeña playa en el hotel Coral Bay. Me dejaron entrar gratis, no sé si esto siempre es tanta generosidad o simplemente tuve suerte, pero el lugar es muy lindo. También recomiendo dar un paseo nocturno por el puente hasta un lugar llamado Saada, un bonito terraplén con restaurantes nacionales y embarcaciones de recreo. La habitación es espaciosa, limpia, tiene todo lo necesario y el balcón tiene vista a los rascacielos y al Puente de la Bahía. El desayuno, con varias opciones para elegir (el más rico es inglés, el más inusual es árabe), estuvo delicioso y me duró hasta la noche (lo cual fue muy importante, ya que la mayoría de los cafés estaban cerrados durante el día debido al Ramadán). El personal es en su mayor parte educado, dejar las cosas hasta la noche no es ningún problema. Me quito una estrella por el servicio debido al problema con la transferencia; parece que simplemente se olvidaron de pedirlo por mí, como resultado, mientras averiguaban y enviaban a alguien, esperé casi una hora en el aeropuerto. Para ser justos, al final no aceptaron dinero por la transferencia.

Solid value for money. Thanks to all staff served us and especially the breakfast team. Lots of care was evidenced by us! The room we stayed had old furniture but very clean and tidy plus lots of attention from room service team. Will definitely stay here again. Tooth brushes in the room would make our stay even more comfy but we brought ours so no probs.

La habitación era grande y limpia. Con el calor, el parque de coches múltiples era grande! Es básica que se suministró en la habitación pero respondieron rápidamente a nuestra petición cuando lo necesitamos. Dos descensos fueron el aire acondicionado era ruidoso, y la matriz no estaba cómoda. En general, su valor por dinero.

Super friendly and helpful staff who can speak English very well. The room is clean and spacious. The middle eastern brunch (11am - 2pm) room service was quite a lot for 2 people. The beds are comfortable. The hotel is at a quiet and safe neighbourhood that is 15 mins walking distance from Bab Al Bahrain. Highly recommended to walk to avoid the heavy traffic jam on the main road. This hotel is also a short walk and 5 minutes away from the national museum and a convenient drive from Muharraq and airport. Highly recommended for those who want a quiet place to relax!
