The staff were pleasant and very friendly. The room was a no frills type room. While it had a really nice bathroom. And the bedroom had a mini fridge and a microwave. It didn't have a dresser. It did have a tv with cable.I ordered a room with a king size bed, and got a room with one queen size bed. And a headboard left on the wall where the second queen had once been. It gave the room a spacious feeling. Despite being the wrong size bed, I didn't complain. I'm not more than. 6' like some people that need a king size bed. Anf at the end of the day, it's just a place to sleep and get a shower. It was a comfortable sleep. And despite being on the corner wasn't as quiet as I had hoped. But it's a motel. Non-smoking rooms available. There is a pool. I didn't check it out though I was too tired my first day, and too busy the next. If you don't require much, this might be for you. The price is right and the location is prime.

Había reservado un lugar de estacionamiento, pero cuando fui a estacionar, el personal me dijo que tenía que pagar primero. Cuando fui a la recepción, me dijeron que podía pagar después. Así que regresé al estacionamiento y les dije al personal, pero me dijeron que no, que tenía que pagar primero. Volví a la recepción y les dije, y me dijeron que no había problema, que podía pagar después. No conseguía nada, así que le pedí a un empleado de recepción que me acompañara al estacionamiento. Pensé que eso lo solucionaría, pero el personal del estacionamiento volvió a decir que no. Good for the money. We’ll stay again this place within our budget, basic and simple

El hotel está bien ubicado, a unos diez minutos en coche de Universal Studios. Hay supermercados y un panda cerca. Es económico y cuenta con aparcamiento gratuito y práctico. El servicio es amable y las instalaciones sanitarias son impecables. El desayuno es demasiado simple: solo rebanadas de pan, café y té *****.

I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel in San Diego and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their genuine hospitality and attention to detail. Check-in was quick and effortless, and I immediately felt at ease. The room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable bedding and a relaxing atmosphere. I especially loved the little touches—plenty of charging ports, great water pressure in the shower, and a balcony with a beautiful view of the city and ocean. The location is perfect—close to San Diego’s best attractions, including the waterfront, Gaslamp Quarter, and Balboa Park. Whether I wanted to walk around, take a short drive, or simply relax by the pool, everything was easily accessible. The hotel amenities exceeded expectations. The pool area was a highlight, perfect for enjoying the sunshine, while the fitness center was well-equipped and clean. The on-site restaurant offered delicious meals with fresh, local ingredients, and the breakfast buffet had something for everyone. What really made my stay special, however, was the service. Every staff member I interacted with went above and beyond—whether it was offering recommendations, arranging transportation, or just greeting me with a smile. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Diego, whether for business, a family vacation, or a relaxing getaway. I’m already looking forward to staying here again!

Debido a que empezamos tarde en la estación anterior, ya era 10:30 a la llegada. La carretera era muy oscura. Seguir la navegación era bueno encontrarla. Hay una señal muy vigilante, es mejor no pasar por la noche. Hay muchos hoteles cercanos, Pero este lugar en general es bastante tranquilo, pero todavía nos sentimos seguros. La última hora de estadía que se nos muestra en la nota es 11:00. Parece que no podemos estadía más tarde. Los amigos vienen a la atención del tiempo El estacionamiento es muy conveniente, muchos estacionamientos, es que no hay desayuno, no hay mucho que comer cerca. Hace mucho que nos fuimos y encontramos una pequeña ciudad que compró comida Aunque ahora es agosto, era demasiado frío cuando llegamos. Los teléfonos móviles muestran que la noche está 12 grados, es bueno tener calor. El calor en agosto es la primera vez que experimentamos.

The building is average looking with friendly manager. I had apartment 201 which was an upstairs unit. The white bedspread had stains on it, that looked like fecal stains from someone sitting on the white spread. The sheets were fine. The carpeting looked like it had not been shampooed in years. The sleeping area has two ceiling lights that were not working. Not so sure that the TV remote was working, but was able to work the TV using the on and off buttons. There were no light switches near the bed so I had to get out of bed to turn on and off the ceiling lights. The baseboards were very dirty and dusty. Spots on the walls. The headboard needed to be dusted. The bathroom had decent water pressure and sufficient hot water. The walls near the toilet and sink counter were full of spots. Spider webs on the side of the toilet walls. Ceiling exhaust fan was not working, and one light in the bathroom was out. Towels were clean but put on he racks not completely dry. In general I would say that the cleaning staff probably touches the obvious areas but does not pay attention to details. Even the lightswitch covers had a layer of dust on the top of the cover. I have pictures, but not going to spend anymore time on this review. Just want to warn future customers looking at this location.

El aparcamiento es cómodo y gratuito. El hotel cuenta con un servicio de transporte a Disneyland, lo cual es muy práctico. Está a 5 minutos en coche y jugamos hasta que Disneyland cerró. ¡Fue divertidísimo! El desayuno era sencillo y la habitación muy tranquila.

We had a lovely stay at The Beachcomber Motel this past Friday. As expected, rates were a little higher due to the weekend demand, but the experience made it worthwhile. We stayed on the first floor, and one of the best things about this property is that all rooms face the ocean—such a treat! Our room was spacious and very comfortable for four of us, with two queen beds. Being able to enjoy the sunset right from our room was definitely a highlight. The location is also excellent, just a short distance from Glass Beach, making it very convenient for sightseeing. One small downside is that there’s no air conditioning. Since the walkway outside is a public space, we didn’t feel comfortable leaving the door open overnight for ventilation. However, the staff were very helpful and promptly provided a box fan, which made things much more comfortable. There are BBQ pits available on the property (first come, first served), which is a nice bonus if you enjoy outdoor meals. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend The Beachcomber Motel for its ocean views, convenient location, and welcoming service.
