This will be a positive review. I stated 8 or 10 other gv hotels before, but i have to give this one eight out of 10 which is excellent considering all the others were five or six.
It is cleaner overall the staff seems to be more attentive and care it's a nice place finally good to see a manager doing a good job. Thank you.

El hotel es un hotel muy agradable.
Pero el único problema de esta vez fue la piscina y la comida. No podíamos usar la piscina en la noche coz que la limpiaron.
Y la comida. , así que debería ser fue un desayuno buffet. Pero no fue. Esa fue la única razón por la que siempre elegimos este hotel, coz allí fue realmente bueno (el buffet)😋

We stayed at Hotel Estrella for one night before our flight to Boracay, and everything was smooth. The room was clean, and the staff were very accommodating. My son even forgot his wallet in the hotel — we didn’t call them about it, which was our mistake.

Overall, it was a nice experience due to the polite staff; nevertheless, the room was unkempt, had no window, and provided limited amenities. The buffet also offered a limited selection of food items. The staff needed to continue tidying the room. Thanks, Ironwood; see you again next time!

Everthing is good. But the best part is the free airport transfer. Distance from the hotel to the airport is about 13mins only. total from the hotel to boarding gates is only less than 45mins.

Отличный современный отель. Розетки подходят для европейских вилок, кондиционер, чайник, шампунь, гель и кондиционер, вообщем весь набор. Завтраки в номер. Чудесный отзывчивый персонал. Единственный минус нет горячей воды. Но это не помешало продлить проживание в этом отеле еще на 5 дней

A simple hotel that functions well. Cool aircon, clear Cable TV channels and good WiFi. Strong cold shower water pressure. Only soap provided. Bring your own towels because the provided towels has turned to brownish instead of white. Some stains on the bedsheets. Keep your expectations low. 🤣

Easy check-in and out. Very good (central) location. The room was tidy, very clean, good beds, big cabinets, very good wifi; shower & bathroom very fine. Unlimited cold 6 hot water. Additional free breakfast (very fine). The value for money is perfect. Once I come back to Ormoc, I would book this hotel again. No regrets, no complaints, very friendly and helpful staff.

Esta es la memoria inolvidable de mi madre. Todo el personal es muy amable. Este es un hotel de recomendación. El arroz también es muy delicioso. El paisaje también es hermoso.

MMiss SigWe had to ask the front desk staff to transfer us to another room because the aircon unit wasn’t working. There’s a water dispenser at the 3rd floor. Breakfast is buffet; not much selection but it’s okay to get you by. No elevator as well.
Location is great. 24 hours open Andok’s and supermarkets are near. ATM machines are everywhere.
Must visit restaurants: Ocho; Prakaz bbq; Fahrenheit food Center. The hotel restaurant is a good place to dine too. Huge servings and tasty. Very friendly staff also.
Full of cute and antique stuff in this hotel which are definitely collectors items; very interesting.
Tip: if you’re a light sleeper, ask for a room not on the street side as the vehicles tend to be very noisy since the rooms are just until the 4th floor.

I had room service initiated even though I didn’t request it, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with anything we needed.
The room itself was okay—comfortable enough with a working AC that kept us cool. The washroom was fine, though nothing exceptional. The hotel’s aesthetic is beautiful, with a great vibe that really adds to the experience.
The Filipino breakfast options were delicious, and I really enjoyed starting the day with a hearty meal.
Overall, this hotel offers great value with its helpful staff, excellent location, and good amenities. I’d definitely stay again!
