«We enjoyed our stay at Lake Hotel. We had a view of Taal Lake (and Taal Volcano) and enjoyed having coffee with that view. Food is great and service is superb. Waiters were readily available - assisting us to bring our plate back from the buffet table and helping bring up our bags as there were no elevators. Location is great - Conti’s beside the hotel and other restaurants to the left and right. Wish I was able to swim. Great view of Taal from the pool»

«During our recent trip, we booked a stay at a hotel that, for the most part, delivered a comfortable and pleasant experience. The rooms were clean, the staff were polite and helpful, and the facilities were well-maintained—everything we look for when choosing accommodation. By all usual standards, this would have been a solid, trouble-free stay that we would happily recommend to friends and family. However, there was one major catch that set this hotel apart from every other place we have ever stayed in, and it left us feeling frustrated and confused: their strict policy regarding linens and security deposits. In all the hotels, resorts, and guesthouses we have visited over the years, the standard rule has always been simple: treat the property with respect, avoid intentional damage, and you will get your full security deposit back upon checking out. Minor spills, accidental marks from daily use, or small stains that come naturally with staying in a room are almost always considered part of regular wear and tear. Housekeeping teams handle cleaning these as part of their daily duties, and deposits are rarely held unless there is significant damage, broken furniture, or missing items. This is the industry norm we have come to expect, and it makes traveling stress-free. This hotel operates very differently. Their policy states clearly that guests must take extreme care of all linens—including bed sheets, pillowcases, towels, and even table cloths found in the room. Even small, accidental stains from food, drinks, cosmetics, or dirt are not accepted. If any linen is marked, stained, or appears to have been used in a way they consider improper, the management reserves the right to keep your entire security deposit.  It felt unfair and overly strict. Unlike other places that charge a reasonable fee for cleaning or replacement if needed, this hotel takes the full amount you set aside as a deposit, regardless of the issue’s size or cost. It felt less like a policy to protect their property and more like an unexpected way to deduct extra charges. The whole situation made what was otherwise a nice stay feel sour and disappointing. We left feeling like we had to walk on eggshells the whole time, worrying that one small mistake would cost us extra money. Despite this frustrating experience, we have to admit: aside from this unusual rule, the hotel itself is fine. The location was convenient, the rooms were spacious and well-equipped, and the service was friendly. If you are planning to stay here, just be fully aware of their unique approach to linens and deposits. Read every line of their policy carefully, ask questions upfront, and be extra cautious with every item in the room. This policy is definitely different from any we have encountered before—we would even call it weird and unnecessary compared to how other hotels operate. It takes away some of the relaxation that comes with traveling. Still, if you are willing to follow their strict rules to the letter, you can still have a comfortable stay. Just make sure you know exactly what you are agreeing to, or you might end up losing your security deposit like we did.»

«Hola, Me gustaría felicitar a la alta d' tagaytay por haber manejado nuestras vacaciones. Nos quedamos allí durante tres días y 2 noches y puedo decir que su servicio es excelente, de clase alta y usted realmente va a recibir el valor del servicio que ha pagado. Desde su muy acogedora mesa de frente hasta los servidores de comida y el personal de mantenimiento de la casa, siempre se convierte en el primer día de visitas a todos los huéspedes con un sonrisa como es siempre su primera vez. El barco es también una llamada a la distancia y muy rápida, no mencionar a sus conductores, que también son muy amables y conocidos, y incluso ofrecen instrucciones sobre los pisos de los restaurantes y restaurantes dentro del edificio. La piscina está muy accesible al lado del restaurante La Cresta y tienen un guardaespaldas para cuidar de sus hijos si es que lo hacen. Incluso ofrecen bolsas de lavandería para tu ropa húmeda (no todos los hoteles ofrecen eso) incluso algunos de los más altos. En general, la vista, el personal, el servicio, las instalaciones y la maravillosa experiencia de todo el mundo basta para decir que vamos a volver definitivamente a este hotel.»

«Taal Vista is a good place to stay when you’re in Tagaytay. There’s nothing more relaxing than getting an unobstructed view of Taal lake while having breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, Taal Vista offers a variety of food such as Filipino staples, salad, and bread, among others, which I really enjoyed. The rooms are not new but are clean well-maintained nonetheless (kudos to their cleaners who clean the rooms everyday!). If you’re after a serene place, this is the place to go. But if you want newer facilities, then you might want to consider looking for another hotel.»

«Celebrated my baby’s birthday in Hotel Casiana and we really love the heated pool. It is toddler friendly and the staff was very accommodating. Buffet breakfast was great, my only concern is the overcooked hard boiled egg. But overall, 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻»

«El hotel está cerca de Sm, 7/11, y varios restaurantes de comida rápida, por lo que es fácil comprar lo que necesita/desea. El personal es agradable y la habitación es limpia. Aunque he notado una ruptura en la pared y el airecone no está bien instalado, como hay algunas lagunas. La habitación es muy pequeña para el precio y la TV no funciona o no podemos usarla, pero no hay remoto, y incluso le preguntamos al personal, pero nunca regresaron después.»

«First time to visit a resort and beach in Batangas, and I must say that Altamare exceeded my expectations. I love the activities you can do, though it is limited, but still worth it. The vibe of being so peaceful and calm, since it is away from the noise, is the best thing of this resort. The services and foods are very good. You just need to be prepared of the stairs, it is very challenging! Overall it was really really good experience.»

«When we arrived at the resort, the nature vibe and peaceful ambience instantly stood out. The staff, even the guard at the front gate, welcomed us with smiles and their service was consistently great from check-in to check-out. Check-in was super quick, which I appreciated since I was with a senior citizen. We stayed in Cabana 101, the room was spacious and had everything we needed. There were two dining tables, one in the patio and one inside, plus a griller. The jacuzzi inside the room was such a nice bonus which my mom really enjoyed, and toiletries were already provided in the bathroom. One of my favorite parts was the buggy service. My mom is a senior and a PWD, and she really enjoyed it. We didn’t even need to use her mobility scooter at all. The pool area was clean and well maintained, and the hot spring was so relaxing. The view around the resort was beautiful too. Breakfast was okay for the price, but again, the staff made the experience so pleasant because they were very accommodating and warm. I also love that it’s pet-friendly. My only small suggestions would be to limit the live band until 10 p.m. since it’s a nature resort and maybe add more sockets inside the room. Oh and also, maybe add a light in the griller section of the Cabanas. We had to use our flashlights when we grilled at night. Overall, we had such a good stay. The place was peaceful, the staff were amazing and highly commendable, and we’re already planning our next visit!»
