Hoteles con Wifi en Gisborne, Nueva Zelanda

Cuando entré primero en el lobby, pensé ”¿Qué es este lugar OMG?” Se parecía una versión de hotel del motel Bates. El dueño que es menos fluido en inglés parecía increíblemente entusiasta a satisfacer, pero sus ideas sobre la gestión de un ”hotel” necesitan algunos mentores. El hotel está en el mejor momento y probablemente más adecuado para ser clasificado como alojamiento de estilo hostal. Aquí me encantaba que me quedara un motocicleta y que tenía un baño limpio, una ducha caliente y un aire acondicionado en la habitación que podía usar para calentar. La habitación era limpia, la cama era cómoda, pero como han dicho otros evaluadores, necesita hojas blancas de color gris. Es un edificio grande, en gran medida vacío y no parece muy invitante y tiene el olor de un millón de comidas grasas fritas que se han cocido allí. En resumen, fue conveniente para mí utilizar, pero nada como la foto que tenía del lugar después de ir al au.trip.com/hotels para reservar.

Booked by company for business trip so a bit apprehensive after reading some of the reviews. I was greeted by two bubbly girls at reception. They were helpful and welcoming. The facility seems quite big and was bit of trek to get to room but good signage. Room was clean, tv worked well with Sky TV. Fridge a bit small but adequate for short stay. Aspects of it are a bit tired but was all clean and tidy so have no complaints. Luckily I took some 'winter woolies' as bed duvet wasnt quite enough on a winters night with no extra blanket available in the cupboard. I am sure reception girls would have been helpful if I had called re same but I was too tired by that stage of the evening. Room was quiet. Shower is over a bath so wouldnt suit older or less able persons. Might have rooms available to better suit those folk - would pay to ask. Parking wasn't a problem. Nice and close walking distance to takeaways and restaurants. I would stay again based on this experience (but ould check there is an extra blanket on arrival :-)).

Found this place while looking outside of Gisborne, Looks amazing and shown our room after booking in. Your key is your power so just slot it in just inside the door and you have power, Our room was large and had a spa bath. Outside looked onto our deck with a table and chairs, to a paddock where wildlife was plentiful. There was milk but it was them small cartons that nobody likes so we took a walk across the road to a dairy and got ourselves some real milk. Also stocked up on a few things. Oh and one more thing the heater in the room was very small on the wall and cut out regular. It's close to the sea although you can't see it from the hotel, A short walk. I've left a few photos for you to look at, Bad points for us was finding a great place thinking it was going to be quiet we were overwhelmed with the amount of road noise all night long, Trucks especially very loud. It's a place we will defo want to come back to though due to its location but will bring ear plugs. Spa great shower was good but tended to fill the whole room up may have had a small blockage? Tea and coffee also our favourite Cookies.

Sensación general

Very spacious for family with 3 kids, super clean and close to the beach (roughly about 5 mins walk). The carpark is just in front of our room and easy to load the luggage as well. I highly recommend this to people with kids, very family friendly. We really enjoyed our stay there, thank you!

The Senator is in a great central location – if visiting you can walk to all the restaurants and to town. The owners were friendly and helpful, and it was so so clean. We loved it. The rooms upstairs are the best – great balconies with good views. Large room, good comfortable beds and great rooms. We had a look at these and would recommend them. Sadly, they have stairs to get to them and showers over the baths which I can’t do so I had the adapted room downstairs. A queen bed but still a large room and the shower and bathroom was one of he best set up ones I have seen – the shower rail actually came down low enough for the person seated to use and a separate holder for the shower so it could be low enough – amazing how many places don’t do this – it was excellent. And the water stayed in the shower area, so the floor was not slippery – another issue others don’t think about. Everything was so clean – the shower curtain was spotless and wide enough to stay away from the person in the shower but keep the rest of the large bathroom dry. Small things that matter if you are unsteady on your feet. Well done, Senator. Cleaning was offered every day and friendly – although we didn’t use it some days as lazy days still in the room – but even if we didn’t want a full clean, they would offer to replenish our tea bags etc and changed towels etc if we wanted. Cleaning obviously a strength in this motel. Location was great – for new year’s eve we could sit in our room and watch the fireworks. There was a small outside patio – but as this was virtually on the street, we didn’t tend to use it much – but sat inside with our doors open watching the world go by. The street was mostly quiet so usually not an issue with noise. I was worried about having a room at street level like this, but it felt safe and was good to see what was happening. Just a couple of nights were noisy with a few people– but that was not for long. Café next door and Restaurants are so close – walkable for me on crutches and when I took the wheelchair. Means we could all enjoy a drink when we went out. There is a washing machine and dryer for use and the air conditioning was very effective. Only negative is the shower water pressure was a little weak. I would recommend the motel – especially of you get the upstairs rooms.

Aparcamiento gratuito, aparcamiento en la entrada del alojamiento, muy conveniente. El menaje de cocina es muy completo, excepto que no hay palillos. Debido a la cocina incorporada, es muy conveniente conseguir la comida favorita de los niños por la mañana. La habitación tiene 1 cama individual y 2 camas dobles. El paisaje es increíble, el parque infantil y la piscina a los niños les encanta jugar.
