The hotel looks very nice from the outside, and I must say the interior design of both the lobby and rooms is also quite okay. However, I feel the service could be improved. I understand that the main restaurant is currently under renovation and a temporary dining area has been set up, but it seems there wasn’t enough planning to accommodate guest demand during this period. The temporary restaurant is too small to cater to the number of guests, and I personally experienced a situation where I had to wait around 10 minutes for a table, with no staff approaching or offering assistance. Overall, the hotel itself is pleasant and well-designed, but I hope the management can focus more on improving service quality and having a proper contingency plan during renovations.

Love the hotel. It’s situated outside the central city, which is nice. Room was spacious, with bathtub and shower, toilet with bidet. Overall loved our stay. Breakfast was average though.

This is probably my 5th or 6th time staying at The Waterfront Hoteland for good reason! It remains my favourite hotel in the city. The view from the room is simply magnificent, whether day or night, and always takes my breath away. I absolutely love the pool area it’s such a relaxing spot to unwind, especially with the scenic backdrop. Another major plus is the hotel’s direct connection to the mall, which makes shopping and dining super convenient without having to leave the building. The room is well-equipped with complete toiletries, which I really appreciate. Everything is kept clean and comfortable, making each stay feel like a mini escape. One small downside: the toilet floor tends to be quite slippery. Although a small toilet mat is provided, it doesn’t quite cover enough area to prevent slipping, so that’s something to be cautious about.

Nos alojamos dos noches en la Torre B para asistir a una boda. La habitación tenía una buena vista del río Rajang. Nuestra habitación tenía llave y bonitas vistas, mientras que vimos la habitación de un amigo en la Torre A, que usaba llave, no tenía vistas y un inodoro viejo (el agua se acumulaba fácilmente alrededor de la bañera y se derramaba en el inodoro al ducharse, lo que mojaba el inodoro). Nos proporcionaron una toalla de baño más fina. Aunque nuestra habitación solo tenía dos almohadas y no tenía tabla de planchar, el servicio de habitaciones nos la proporcionó gratis si la pedíamos. El hotel cuenta con una peluquería convenientemente ubicada en el interior, rodeada de restaurantes.

I really enjoyed my stay at Sheraton Kuching. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable - a perfect place to relax after a day out. The staff were warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I’d be happy to stay here again on my next trip to Kuching.

The room was clean and spacious, with a nice city view. However, the air-conditioning was extremely cold—almost like winter—and the controller didn’t seem to work. We had to switch it off, yet some cold air still came through. Coincidentally, AIFFA was having their dinner event at the hotel during our stay. We also ordered a mocktail, which was quite sweet.

La ubicación era fantástica. Justo al lado hay un 7 eleven. La habitación era bastante amplia y proporcionan toallas nuevas todos los dias. Estuvimos en la planta 7, las vistas son geniales. La moqueta estaba bastante sucia y manchada, ambas noches al despertarnos por la mañana, nos levantamos con varias picadas de insecto...posibles chinches? Aun no sabemos. Lo que si sabemos que no eran de los paseos de la calle, porque estamos bien y nos levantamos con ellas. Recomiendo una limpieza a fondo...

habitación con vista al río. la ubicación es increíble. A poca distancia del paseo marítimo de Kuching. La habitación es modesta y bastante sencilla: decoraciones y muebles sencillos y simplemente aburridos. Decir que el lugar es un hotel de cinco estrellas es una exageración. decepcionado con el aire acondicionado, incapaz de enfriar la habitación al nivel deseable. Las comodidades proporcionadas no son adecuadas para una habitación familiar.

La estancia fue muy buena. Me gusta la ubicación, ya que Riverside está justo en frente del hotel. Sin embargo, la sala de fitness no estaba en condiciones satisfactorias. Estaba en una categoría inferior a la de mi estancia anterior (antes del COVID). Aparte de eso, la habitación estaba bien y me gusta el desayuno que ofrecen.

Overall, the stay was good. The staff were friendly and polite, which made the experience pleasant. However, the amenities provided were quite limited. As the hotel is still under renovation, mornings can sometimes be disturbed by construction noise. The waiting area near the lift to the car park could use some improvement as the lighting is rather harsh and uncomfortable. Additionally, it would be much more convenient if complimentary parking were provided for hotel guests.
