Our stay had a lot of high points and a lot of low points. Starting with the high points, the grounds and room were incredible. Our experience at the spa was one of the best we’ve had. The cocktails and Laos-style burger we had for lunch one day were phenomenal. The staff were charming and very accommodating. However, there were a few aspects that were far below the experience expected of a 5 star hotel. First, cocktail service around the pool was abysmal. On almost every occasion we had to go searching for a staff member to take our order, and then the cocktails more often than not took more than half an hour to arrive. This is despite the fact that we seemed to be the only people ordering F&B at that time, i.e. they were not busy at all. Second, the breakfast was a disappointment every day - we were told we could order eggs or noodles, and had to repeatedly press the staff to find out what type of eggs and noodles, and we only discovered on the last day that there was a menu with additional options. We ordered poached eggs on toast, and the eggs had not been drained of excess liquid, and the bread was entirely soaked through. An order of waffles took over an hour to come out - first it was delivered as a pancakes, and then they just forgot about it despite repeated follow ups. The “local” Laos options lacked flavor - very little of the herbs and spice that makes Laos food great. I think this and the pool service issue are primarily the result of a lack of training and instruction for staff - they were clearly doing their best, but did not know what to do. Third, the pool area needs a lot more spent on maintenance. The decking is cracking and falling apart. The mosaic tiles in the pool are falling apart, A LOT of the tiles are missing, and I got a very large laceration on my forearm from the sharp edge of a tile sticking out. If this pool were in a western jurisdiction, it would not meet health and safety standards. Fourth, the gym was not worth visiting if you want to lift weights. Possibly the worst weights offering I’ve seen for a hotel of that price and with that much space. We want to reiterate how great and enthusiastic the staff were. I think this is primarily a management oversight, training, and maintenance capex issue.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Everytime I asked them something, they were more than willing to help in anyway they could. The room was lovely and very reasonably priced. The only very minor downside was that breakfast was a little bit limited for someone with quite a lot of food allergies, but the staff could make adaptions to the menu to try and cater for these. Would 100% recommend to anyone staying in Luang Prabang.

El hotel es relativamente nuevo con habitaciones bonitas y limpias en buena ubicación en Luang Prabang. El personal es amable y útil, el desayuno es una opción entre varias opciones. Agua, café y té están disponibles gratis. También se pueden reservar en el lugar los rollos, las excursiones y las transferencias. El Wi-Fi puede ser un poco mejor en las habitaciones. Todo en general es una muy buena relación calidad-precio y nos quedaríamos allí de nuevo.

Cuando busqué un hotel en Luang Prabang, descubrí que este hotel tenía muy buenas críticas. Cuando hice el check-in, me di cuenta de que era igual a las buenas críticas. Estaba limpio y el servicio era bueno. La ubicación también era buena. Disfruté mucho de estas vacaciones y volveré a visitar este lugar.

El paisaje es muy bonito, el servicio es entusiasta, y hay un transportador gratuito. El desayuno es la polvo de arroz tradicional de la rata, y también está limpio en la habitación, recomendado.

Hotel Name: Villa Monsone Location: Luang Prabang I had the privilege of spending an unforgettable holiday at Villa Monsone and I have the warmest praise for this hotel. First of all, the location of the hotel is ideal. Just a few minutes' walk from the hotel, I was able to explore the area's ancient temples, royal palaces and night markets. The surroundings of the hotel are pleasant, quiet and convenient. Secondly, Villa Monsone is a wonderful building in itself. Every detail shows the care and taste of the hotel management team. I particularly enjoyed the hotel's swimming pool and terrace, which provided a peaceful and relaxing environment to enjoy the sun and views. The service is also impeccable. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, the staff gave me warm and thoughtful care. They were always ready to help and were always there to make sure my needs were met. Their professional quality and friendly attitude made me feel at home.

This place is an oasis . The staff are friendly and professional. The room was lovely with a nice balcony. Breakfast served near the lily pond each morning. It is a short walk into town or you can use one of their free bicycles. The grounds are beautifully manicured. And there was a yummy cookie left in our room each evening. You can also book all excursions around the city through the helpful front desk staff.

Excelente ubicación y relación calidad-precio. Todo está a poca distancia. El propietario fue muy amable y nos ayudó a reservar algunos tours. El servicio de habitaciones era bueno y ordenado. La plomería local de la zona podría ser un poco mejor, pero eso no es culpa del propietario. La cama era un poco incómoda, así que quizás intentes pedir almohadas más suaves si puedes.
