¡Una experiencia inolvidable en un hanok! El lugar era absolutamente precioso y nuestro anfitrión fue una persona muy amable. Su servicio fue excepcional; incluso nos regalaron una botella de vino y desayuno, aunque no estaba incluido en nuestra reserva. Visitamos Gyeongju durante tres noches durante el ventoso invierno de febrero, por lo que algunas de las ventajas y desventajas podrían no ser aplicables a otras temporadas: Ventajas: - Ubicación increíble: en pleno corazón del moderno distrito de hanok de Gyeongju, a pocos minutos a pie de la calle Hwangnidan-Gil, Cheonmachong, etc. A pesar de que este distrito estaba a rebosar los fines de semana, nuestro hanok estaba en un rincón más acogedor y tranquilo, encima de un restaurante. Así que se respiraba un silencio absoluto en nuestro hanok, y sorprendentemente no tuvimos ningún problema con los olores del restaurante de la planta baja que subían a nuestras habitaciones. - Estética limpia que combina a la perfección el ambiente de un hanok tradicional con el de un hotel moderno. Ideal para quienes viajan con familias mayores, por ejemplo, que quizás no puedan dormir cómodamente en suelos duros. El diseñador de interiores de este hanok se merece un aumento. - La calefacción por suelo radiante funcionaba bien y no pasamos nada de frío a pesar del viento nocturno durante nuestra estancia de invierno. - Un televisor gigante. - El anfitrión fue muy amable y fue fácil comunicarse con él por WhatsApp. - ¡Agradecimos que el baño y la ducha estuvieran muy limpios y modernos! Desventajas: - No había armarios y no había muchas perchas para colgar la ropa. Es solo un pequeño inconveniente, ya que teníamos más abrigos para nuestra ropa de invierno. Sin embargo, como la mayoría de la gente reserva este hanok para estancias cortas, tampoco debería ser un gran problema. - Como llegamos en coche por la noche, el aparcamiento que nos asignaron estaba a unos 2 minutos a pie del hanok, así que al principio fue un poco confuso localizar el aparcamiento y el hanok en la oscuridad. Por la noche, en invierno, el viento es bastante fuerte, así que, como en cualquier casa de madera, es normal que haya bastante ruido, como el temblor de la puerta, el viento, etc. Viniendo de la ciudad, al principio nos asustamos un poco y pensamos que había intrusos, jaja. No es un gran problema (sobre todo en temporadas menos ventosas), pero creo que vale la pena tenerlo en cuenta, sobre todo si eres muy sensible a los ruidos al dormir. Si estas desventajas no te afectan o no te suponen un gran problema, ¡te recomiendo sin duda esta estancia en hanok! Es una experiencia única, y por eso, en mi humilde opinión, ¡vale la pena el precio!

Really convenient to be near lots of restaurants, there is a really good bakery cafe in the same building & coupons for the bar across the road. Breakfast included in the stay is basic with eggs, toast and fried rice. There is juice but no coffee. Rooms are huge as is the bath. Only minor thing was the light switches are meant to be remote controlled but that didn’t work so you have to manually go to the switches on the wall near the door. Would stay again.

Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I can confidently say that it exceeded all my expectations. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job keeping everything clean and fresh throughout my stay. The view from my room was breathtaking, adding to the overall experience. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel’s facilities. The pool area was well-maintained and perfect for relaxation, while the fitness center had everything needed for a good workout. The on-site restaurant served delicious food with a great variety of options, and the breakfast buffet was simply outstanding – fresh, diverse, and of high quality. The location of the hotel was also a huge plus. It was conveniently situated near major attractions, shops, and public transportation, making it easy to explore the city. Despite being in a central location, the hotel itself was quiet and peaceful, providing a perfect balance between accessibility and relaxation. What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure guests had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made my stay truly memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and well-managed place to stay. I will definitely be returning on my next visit! Its a pity that the upper floor rooms got occupied so we were assigned to lower floor and the room was facing n pretty close to a construction next to the hotel and so we were worrying abt the dust and noise and a bit disappointed with the ‘seaview’ outside the terrace… luckily the front desk lady offered us another room on the same floor facing the carpark instead so the sea is really just one car away and it feels so much better :] she even offer us to check the rooftop family that comes with jacuzzi but we didnt bring out swimsuits so its out of our consideration. The room is huge and the view is superb, except 1. it d be better if theres a door/curtain for the toilet/bathroom area for privacy and also noise isolation; 2. The fridge and rubbish bin are a bit too small for a family-sized guests; 3. Lacking racks/hooks to hang clothes and towels when u shower, a bit inconvenient… However everything else is awesome, they hv clothing disinfectant machine provided in the room, a giant size tv which is good for family, amenity kits come with most of the things u need including facial cleanser/toner/moisturiser. Theres a coffee machine and ice making machine at the lobby so u can het ur everyday coffee free. Also the public terrace on 10/f is super nice n chill with the sea view, its both nice both day n night, highly recommend! There are tons of restaurants mostly grilled meat/seafood dishes in the neighbourhood as its right next to the famous beach where ppl comes here for the yeonglidae pavillion, which looks nice at night! Space walk is also nearby. The locals all do their morning exercise walk by strolling along the seashore bare feet! Theres a shoe rack storage and feet washing facilities provided so u can come enjoy bare-foot walking in empty hands and leave clean and dry! Its a nice stay and i would recommend to others!

Large spacious room, with comfortable bed, good Internet. Location was perfect to access attractions, bus stops, Restaurants and shops. Front counter staff were very friendly and helpful, giving baggage storage prior to check in. Cleaning staff did a great job and always smiling. Very clean refreshing hotel

Está muy cerca de la estación de autobuses de larga distancia, y la calle Huanglituan está a solo 10 minutos a pie. Hay lavadoras de pago, que son muy baratas entre semana. El dueño es muy amable. ¡Muy recomendable!

Para este viaje a Gyeongju, Corea del Sur, elegí específicamente un hotel cerca de la avenida Hwangri-do y Daereungwon. Además, era uno de los hoteles designados para la Cumbre APEC 2025 y ofrecía registro de entrada y salida automático. En la planta baja había un salón con café y té de cortesía, y taquillas para guardar el equipaje en el exterior. El desayuno en la segunda planta también era bastante bueno. Las habitaciones eran amplias y el baño espacioso. También había opciones para comer muy cerca.

I had such a wonderful stay at this hanok-style hotel that I’m already dreaming of coming back. From the moment I arrived, everything felt calm, welcoming and thoughtfully prepared. The traditional architecture, the soft lights in the courtyard at night and the view over the tiled rooftops created a very special atmosphere that you just don’t get in a “normal” hotel. My room was cozy, bright and spotlessly clean. I especially loved the little wooden platform by the window with the cushions – it became my favorite spot to sit with a book, drink a coffee and look out over the rooftops and mountains. Waking up to that view in the morning and seeing the same roofs softly lit at night made my stay feel almost magical. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. You can feel that they really care about their guests and about sharing Korean culture. The small details, like the beautiful traditional bookmark as a gift, made me feel genuinely appreciated and added a personal touch I will not forget. Overall, this stay was one of the highlights of my trip. If you are looking for a place that combines comfort, authenticity and a peaceful atmosphere in the middle of a hanok neighborhood, I can only highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely love to stay here again.

El albergue es muy cómodo y bueno!! Y la mejor ubicación y servicio.. El albergue fue tan bueno que la impresión de Gyeongju se hizo mejor durante mi estancia aquí.

Encantador hanok con una ubicación estupenda. Tenía calefacción por suelo radiante, lo cual fue muy agradable. Las habitaciones están equipadas con TV, espejo, hervidor de agua, té y minibar. El personal fue muy amable y servicial. El hanok también ofrece alquiler gratuito de hanboks si quieres hacer fotos, pero la selección es bastante pequeña y algunos de los hanboks están rotos o viejos. Las paredes son un poco finas, así que se puede oír a los vecinos, pero por suerte estaba con mi familia, así que simplemente les pedí que hicieran silencio 😂. El hanok es realmente bonito y está justo al lado de una calle concurrida y de muchos restaurantes. Sin duda, volvería y me quedaría más tiempo.
