«A small hotel with a decent-sized room and a unique concept. Room furnishings and materials appear to be made from recycled items which gave the place a very interesting and distinctive character. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Overall we had a good experience. The area was peaceful and quiet, and there was a supermarket nearby making it convenient to pick up anything we needed. Parking was free, bonus points. The only downside was the room window. It was constructed using leftover pieces of wood that were not all the same size leaving small gaps between them. As a result privacy was not completely guaranteed. Sunlight goes through it making room too bright in the morning to sleep.»

«Unbeatable location with many rooms ( or all rooms) and public spaces facing Tsunoshima Bridge. Our room faced the ocean directly with no obstruction. The bath was also quite decent and the outdoor bath is next to the sea. You can enjoy the sound of the waves while bathing in the hot spa. It should be quite spectacular during sunset. The spa was probably renovated within the last 10 years as it was in good condition. The room , however, felt old and the corridor was damp. The carpet in the room felt damp and the room felt stuffy. The AC worked well and we turned it on high. Our triple room as spacious but I felt itchy the whole night while sleeping- although the sheets looked clean ( I slept on the added bed). The other two beds looked slumped in the middle. Bathroom also looked quite old( from the 70’s)? My room was at the far end wing and there were lots of stairs to walk up and down from the front desk which was on the third floor. The staff will help to bring the luggages to your room ( also at check out - just call). Hotel restaurant serves dinner buffet . If you are not interested, the hotel also has a list of restaurants nearby with 10-30 minutes drive. We drove out to have yakitori in a small down, which was very local, but with friendly owner, good food- and super cheap price ( each yakitori was about ¥120-150 yen. Breakfast buffet has both Japanese and western offers, taste was average. Overall service was very good.»

«The hotel is located right on the side of the bay with views of strait Ganryujima Island and a short walk away from some great restaurants. The staff were really helpful, from parking, to reception and the breakfast team, all of them were genuinely friendly. The room was spotless and the onsen was amazing. I've really enjoyed my time in Shimonoseki and the Dormy Inn was a great base for this. Thank you.»

Recomiendo encarecidamente la mascarilla de sake (imagen en las figuras 1 y 2) y el tónico de botella azul. La primera deja la piel suave sin tirantez, mientras que el segundo es muy hidratante. El menú básico incluye sashimi de pez globo, muy recomendable. Sin embargo, en recepción esperaron más de 10 minutos para revisar mi pedido durante el check-in. No sé por qué.»
