«The hotel is located in the most beautiful area of Unazuki Onsen, especially the river-view rooms, where you can see the red bridge from the window. The staff speak English well. Dinner is good but not very varied, as most of the menu consists of sushi. The breakfast queue is too long, but the selection is good, with a variety of sashimi. The Wi-Fi is poor. I couldn’t use it during my stay at the hotel.»

«Came here to relax with the natural hot spring that Toyama is famous for. The waters here are dark brown like soya sauce. The public bath has several baths including one that is outdoor. There are ample lockers, dressing tables and shower berths. The laundry room is inside the public bath area. They are separate machines from the dryer. While the washing machines are free, it costs money to use the dryer. The shower cubicle in the hotel room has no shower rail to hang laundry to dry. The double bed room has a private cypress wood bath tub. It felt good to soak in onsen water in the morning before breakfast. It’s deep enough for someone tall to sit in. A short walk away is the tram stop. A free tram ride coupon can be obtained from the front desk for international tourists.»

«Sentimientos encontrados sobre esto... está a un paseo de la estación jr en el centro del distrito de luz roja, alojamiento barato, no es gran cosa... pero la primera habitación la señal WiFi era mala, el personal fue servicial y nos cambiaron a otra habitación, nuevamente más tarde el WiFi no se podía usar, seguramente el gerente lo sabe, estaba planeando quedarme noches adicionales pero no fue posible, a la mañana siguiente el gerente se disculpó y me reembolsó la tarifa de la habitación.»

«Location is great! Near shopping centres and train station. Drive to Kanazawa and Tateyama is easy too. Car park needs to be booked in advance (need to pay, ¥1000 a night if I don't recall wrongly). Cleanliness is great. Aisle abit narrow for luggage to open. Smoking room in the hotel itself, easy for smokers. Nice tasting Kurobe water provided at the room level. Great touch there! Enjoyed our stay, thank you!»

«Very spacious Japanese style rooms with very good breakfast and dinner buffets (dinner highlight was shabu shabu). Also very good Onsen bath with small outdoor ‘rotenburo’. A little bit of a walk to the tram station but the hotel will arrange a car to ferry you. Overall a very positive impression for a first time Route Inn chain guest.»
