«Before trip, I think this hotel is located close to Toyama station but I walked from Toyama station to the hotel around 20 minutes (However, this was my own fault for not reading the hotel’s location information carefully). For this hotel, the facilities is very well and various such as public bath, electric body massage machine, vending machine. For the public bath, if you use it during the daytime, you’ll probably get a beautiful view of the Japan Alps surrounding the city. Unfortunately, I used it at night, when it was too dark to see the view.»

«I’m very impressed! The room is spacious compared to Japanese standards and very clean. The bed is soft and comfortable with full amenities. The location is perfect, right next to Toyama Station and the Tram stop, making it extremely convenient. The hotel is above a shopping mall, and there are other malls nearby where you can find everything you need. There’s a wide variety of food and convenience stores close by. You can even walk to Toyama Kansui Park. The staff are lovely and provide great service. I also loved the free water and ice machine. Highly recommended!»

«The hotel is rather new and very clean. The young man at the reception was very helpful and friendly. Free parking overnight is also very helpful. The room is a bit small but still OK for 2 people. I will consider to stay again in the future if the price is around the same. The only drawback is the location, it is rather far from the city center. Only suitable for traveller who is driving.»

«Nos alojamos una noche antes de la ruta alpina. El baño era pequeño pero suficiente. La habitación tenía un tamaño bastante decente, pero solo llevamos mochilas en lugar de equipaje, así que no puedo opinar con seguridad. Cerca de la estación de tren y una base fácil para la ruta alpina. Tuvimos que esperar muchísimo tiempo para el ascensor debido a la congestión, el personal finalmente ayudó con el ascensor del personal.»

«Honestly, I don't know where to start. I'm completely touched by my experience at this hotel. First, the rooms are clean, big, surrounded by nature, greenery, and a beautiful lake that you can observe for a perfect morning scenery. Secondly, the facilities are top notch! Everything is clean! All facilities are provided to you with great quality; clean floors, perfect white clean towels, the hot spring water is clean, the pools are clean, the shampoo and body wash liquids smell amazing! (Like the baby colon your mother would give you as a child with the blue rounded top!) AMAZING! However, I had a very special interaction with one of the staff who deserves a medal for being so responsible and ensuring that her guest was in good hands. Unfortunately, I got sick one morning while I was checking out. I was having an anxiety / panic attack that made me really disoriented. I didn't feel safe driving afterwards and I requested for the ambulance to be called. The kind and beautiful lady at the front desk handled all my paperwork, and ensured clear communication between doctors and nurses. After getting a physical check at the hospital for 2 hours, the results came back fine. There was no problem at all, however, the lady from the hotel staff was still there to see me out and ensure that I was safe and ok to drive. She was amazing! Thank you a million times for providing a fantastic place to stay, but also for taking great care of me! ( I don't have any pictures of the hotel because pictures aren't allowed to be taken within the hot springs, but trust me when I say, everything looks just as it is in the pictures. ) I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.»

«Very satisfied with my stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Toyama. The hotel was kind enough to allow a flexible and early check-in, which made a big difference after travelling. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with everything I needed, especially in assisting my 72-year-old mum — their care and attentiveness really stood out. The location is only a stone’s throw away from Toyama Station, making it very convenient for getting around. The pyjamas were also surprisingly comfortable, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I was very happy with the experience and will definitely stay here again if I visit Toyama in the future.»

«walking to the hotel from jr station might be hurting your luggage's wheel, anyway, it is inexpensive compare to others hotel with onsen facility. bed is ok, a bit hard, different from other APA hotel branch, can keep the open luggage under the bed. try to choose room not facing rail way, it will be noisy when the train pass thru.»

«Just a short walk from the exit of Toyama station, turn left then go up an escalator, the hotel is on the left. I stayed for a nite in Toyama. Before i checkout from hotel, I went to Iwasehama Beach. I was only managed to onboard a 0831 tram back to Toyama station. By the time I arrived @Toyama station it was 0901. Thank goodness i booked this hotel and without missing my train @0925 to Osaka. Highly recommended. If I am coming back to Toyama definitely will stay @this hotel again. In addition to this, lots of eateries around the hotel too.»

«In general hotel in japan is very small, and this is no exceptions. The hotel is very clean, amenity is good, with self service laundry, public bath in house and free coffee machine in the lobby. The location wise is okay, within five mins walking distance from train station, and close to convenience store, supermarket and restaurants. The breakfast is quite decent, better than what I expected with this price. Hot water is strong enough.»
