«I had a nice stay at Richmond Hotel. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, making for a very pleasant experience. Check-in was smooth and efficient, allowing us to settle in quickly. One feature I particularly appreciated was the bathroom, which offered both a separate shower area and a bathtub, giving guests the option of a quick shower or a relaxing soak after a long day of sightseeing. Another aspect I appreciated was the hotel's assistance in arranging for our luggage to be transferred to our next hotel in Tokyo. The process was seamless and hassle-free, allowing us to travel more comfortably without having to carry our large suitcases. I especially love this luggage forwarding service, which is widely available throughout Japan and makes travelling between cities much more convenient. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would happily stay here again.»

«Check-in was very smooth. In fact, they allowed us to check in earlier - about 1 to 2 hours earlier, I think. The room was already ready, so they allocated it to us when we arrived. The room itself was rather small but functional and clean, so we don’t really have any complaints other than it being a bit small. I guess this is Japanese standards. The pricing is fairly more expensive than the inns across the road, perhaps because of the location and also because it is very new. The property itself has a very nice onsen. The female onsen had a lot of apples floating in it, which was a very nice touch to showcase Aomori apples. The front desk staff are very nice and very friendly. They also have staff who can speak Chinese. Not that I am Chinese, but I can speak some Chinese better than Japanese, which I can’t speak at all. Nevertheless, the staff could converse in English, or at least some basic English. There’s free yoga and some classes, but we didn’t utilise them as it’s not really useful for tourists who would rather spend time outside the hotel. This seems more suited for locals who want a short getaway, but still a very lovely touch. Breakfast is paid separately and does not come with the room, so there is no comment on that. The property provides Nespresso capsules in the room, and there is also a better Nespresso machine near the check-in counter. I also love that they provide water for free without having to pay extra. The lounge is available for everybody and overlooks the bridge. They provide some free snacks and drinks depending on the timing - different items in the morning and in the evening. That being said, there is no alcohol being served. Also, the coffee there is very bad. I don’t understand why they don’t put the Nespresso machine in the lounge since they have one at the lobby. Overall, everything was quite perfect for this hotel. In fact, the location was the most perfect part. Once you exit the train station, you enter an elevator that goes up to the hotel. Since it was winter, I was afraid I would need to drag my bags for a long time, but it’s right outside the exit after you tap your card and turn left. If I remember correctly, the elevator is right there and there is no need to go outside at all. However, there are only two elevators servicing the entire building, so there might be some waiting time. I would advise leaving earlier if you have a train to catch. The only reason this is not a full-star review is because I requested about a one-hour late checkout due to our train time, and they told us we needed to pay - if I remember correctly, ¥2,000 per hour. I felt they were very rigid about the 11 am checkout time. To be honest, even if they had given it to us, we probably wouldn’t have used it anyway, as we later decided to change our train time to leave Aomori, since there isn’t much to do here. Still, the rejection and inflexibility made us feel very uneasy and unwelcome. I think they could have handled this better by being less rigid and more human. So that’s minus points from us. After all, this is part of hospitality, and it doesn’t hurt.»

«Stayed 6 nights and was excellent! Left behind phone in the room. Came back after day trip and the phone was still there. This speak highly of the staff integrity. Location is less 5min walk from Aomori Train Station and close to some places of interest and surrounded by restaurants and convenient stores.»

«The onsen and breakfast were both incredible! Breakfast was buffet style with Japanese style food and lots of different drinks. I went to the onsen both when I checked in (closes at midnight) and then again in the morning before breakfast. What a treat! Staff were also very nice! The location is phenomenal as well as it's close to the station and main attractions. Some people have said that the bed and pillows are a bit hard, but personally like it better this way as it's healthier for my back. Room is a bit older style and kind of small but I was just sleeping there anyway and so it was fine Would definitely stay again!»

«We were two people. The room we stayed at was not big. If you have two suitcases it will be hard to open up both of them at the same time. We didn’t have suitcases, and therefore the space was not a problem for us. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. I lost my gloves at a bus, and they helped me to get them back. You also got apple juice as a welcome drink at the front desk (very nice apple juice!). We used baggage storage after checking out, which was no problem. The room was very clean. When we were there they had an eco plan, which was that the room got cleaned only once at our 4 night stay, but could get towels whenever we wanted. We though it was good from the environment perspective (but we decided to not have any cleaning at all). Overall I though our stay at this hotel was very good.»

«Dormy Inn chain hotels rarely disappoint me, and this still holds for Hirosaki one. It is close to Hirosaki Castle rather than Hirosaki Station, but the city has a circular bus that runs every 10 min., and the bus stop for the hotel is just across the road, so it’s not a problem for those who arrive by train. The room is moderate in size by Japan business hotel standard, but it has the added benefits of offering relaxation onsens. As usual, its onsens have both open and indoor pools. This hotel also has cold water pool and sauna. You get free Yakult in the morning, ice pops in the afternoon till late evening. I recommend.»

«I had a great stay at the hotel and found it to be excellent value for money. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the basic amenities needed for a pleasant stay. While it’s not a luxury hotel, everythinga was well-maintained and practical. Overall, it offers solid value, and I would definitely consider staying here again»

«今回から家族３人で宿泊し、1人部屋と2人部屋を利用しました。ちょっと狭いかなという感じです。1人で使う分には特に問題ありませんでしたが、2人部屋は荷物を広げるスペースがなかったです。 ただ、朝食が美味しかったのと、駐車場があるのはとても良かったです。 弘前城や、繁華街に近いので観光目的にも良いと思いました。»

«La estación de ocho hogares de la nueva línea seca también tiene que pasar por la línea de ocho hogares a esta línea de ocho y salir por 15 minutos. Debido a que hay más alta montaña en el centro, se siente lejos. La habitación del hotel es antigua pero muy limpia, muy amplia, además de la cama doble, hay un sofá largo y un par de chalecos en la habitación, Cada cuarto de baño y la salón tienen una mesa de baño, y la residencia es muy cómoda. El hotel ofrece muchas introducciones turísticas de ocho personas muy útiles.»
