A bit of a walk from Aomori Station but the hotel and room are well-equipped and has a nice view of the city and surrounding mountains & sea. It was an enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

The location of the spa is excellent, just next to train station.
The facilities were tip top.
However on day of check in, the attending team at reception was not up to par.
1) disorganised. First took our passport then wanted it back
2) failed to orientate us on location of public onsen. And need to report to level 6 reception to be brought in individually by staff
3) location of blue lounge
4) the dress code for free exercise and location.
The next day's team was better.
Overall OK but check in makes first impression

Good and value hotel
At the front door might looks small and average but when go up to the lobby and room has more nice vibe and interior.
The room is small type but okay for few nights.
- I like that the bathroom is separate and quite spacious.
- They have water dispensers at all floor which is very nice.
- The kettle is small but boiling fast.
- I can feel attention to detail in every area.
- Staff is nice.
Hotel is close to the station and have family mart nearby. Also lots of restaurants, such as izakaya or comfort food like ootoya and walkable to Nokkedon morning market.
If I visit Aomori again, this is one of my hotel choice.

Location of hotel is good not far from JR station. The hotel is just next to Lawson and is very convenient. A lot of restaurants around the area. The room is clean and neat. It’s a perfect place to stay for a few nights to explore Aomori.

The hotel is located in a central area, within walking distance (around 500 meters) to attractions like A-Factory and the riverside, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city.
Overall, the stay was good. However, I think it would be even better if the hotel had a spa or onsen. It would be perfect for travelers who feel tired after a long day and want to relax in the evening.

Al permanecer, otros huéspedes se enfrentaron a problemas de estacionamiento, el personal 々 Muy amable respuesta. La recepción y la habitación son muy limpias y prudentes, pueden pasar una residencia cómoda. Esta vez no se utiliza, pero la entrada del gran casino parece muy bonita. Esta vez quiero atrapar un poco.

Very good. Iron is available and can be collected from reception area. Everywhere is near. Good room space. Although when we switch on the aircond its blowing hot air. Lucky that the weather and wind at night is cooler so we decided to open the window for cool air to the room. Happy for the opportunity to stay at this hotel in aomori.

UUsuario invitadoWe were two people. The room we stayed at was not big. If you have two suitcases it will be hard to open up both of them at the same time. We didn’t have suitcases, and therefore the space was not a problem for us. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. I lost my gloves at a bus, and they helped me to get them back. You also got apple juice as a welcome drink at the front desk (very nice apple juice!). We used baggage storage after checking out, which was no problem. The room was very clean. When we were there they had an eco plan, which was that the room got cleaned only once at our 4 night stay, but could get towels whenever we wanted. We though it was good from the environment perspective (but we decided to not have any cleaning at all).
Overall I though our stay at this hotel was very good.

First of all a carpet in my room have fungi smell + cigarettes smell, so this is not what we request non smoking room, due to my allergies. Also air purifier filter need to be change it smell and seem dirty.

MMDevThis hostel is conveniently located near Lake Towada. It can be easily accessed from the JR bus station. There is a convenience store at about 100 meters of distance from the hostel. The building is a bit outdated and the facilities look old. But please remember that this is a hostel and is affordable. The staff are extremely polite and welcoming. They have a big heart and serve with their full sincerity. When I reached the hostel early, there was nobody at the front desk, but there was a note for me with my room details. Later at night, When I mentioned that I do not eat meat, and I will manage with only rice, the lady, Ms. Tomoko quickly prepared fish without even thinking twice and asked me to pay very little. Even the next day she prepared cold noodles along with rice and charged extremely less. The point here is not the money but her big heart in serving without thinking about money or profit. I highly recommend this hostel purely by considering at the generosity and sweet, politeness of the staff there.
This hostel is conveniently located even to walk along Oirase gorge. Easier to stay here and take bus to either to the northern end - Yakeyama or the southern, lake side end Nenokuchi and walk along the gorge and return back to the hostel. This way the trip becomes affordable and easier.

If you wabtbto escape the ceoqded sappiro during winter, come to Aomori and stay at Richmond Hotel. We love it here we love Aomori.

UUsuario invitadoThe overall experience was positive. The breakfast was adequate and good and eventho was until 9am, they allow you to eat breakfast past the time. The checkout time was a tad early at 10am. There are 2 nice restaurants next to hotel and Lawson convenience store nearby and a shopping place too. The best part is we could park our car for free right in front of the hotel. Its located not far from Aomori airport and you could rent a car at the airport, which is right out the gate of the airport. U can book thru Trip for your rental car.
The room itself was comfortable. Bed was good, but there was a bad smoking smell all round the room. Luckily there was a filter machine in the room. Room was a bit dark and space was not much to put luggage but adequate. There is a bath tub that i could bath in which was good. They also provide free bathhouse service for guest.
The only thing that could be improved is to provide free drinking water to the guest. There is no hot water and no free drinking water. You have to buy from vending machine downstairs.

UUsuario invitadoService was good. There was a staff who is stationed at the entrance, checking with guest who arrived by car. They will ask for your name, provided clear instructions of where to park. Unfortunately, I have accidentally left the lights in the car switched on. A few moments later when I was doing my check-in, the front desk staff quickly informed me about it. The facilities are good. Food is really good, very different from the other Hoshino resorts in Aomori that I have stayed. At KAI Tsugaru, it is Kaiseki instead of the usual buffet style. The staff took pains to explain and share the reason for each dish that was served. There are only 41 traditionally-furnished and generously-sized rooms offering both Western and Japanese-style designs which gives a very unique and dedicated experience as compared to other hotels which has many rooms.
