Viajamos con mis padres y nos alojamos aquí mientras visitábamos Venecia. La experiencia de camping es diferente a la de un alojamiento tradicional. Aquí se puede cocinar, hay utensilios de cocina y vajilla, y no cobran por el estacionamiento. La cabaña premium tiene capacidad para 5 personas y cuenta con dos habitaciones, cada una con su propio baño, lo cual es muy conveniente. Hay que tener en cuenta que para la recepción hay que coger un número en la máquina de tickets, y que la estufa se enciende con un encendedor (que está en el armario). El camping y las cabañas ya tienen sus años, pero la relación calidad-precio es realmente excelente.

We arrived around 2:30 PM, right after check-in time. There is no elevator, but that’s completely understandable for an old Venetian building. We carried our luggage to the third floor, and while my wife was speaking with the host, we suddenly found out that the bathroom was shared with another room. This was a huge surprise for us because on Trip.com the booking clearly mentioned private facilities in the room and a shower. Only later did we realize that the bathroom was actually outside the room and shared between two rooms, with separate keys for the wooden bathroom door. The bathroom itself was clean and decent, but for us this completely changed the experience. We have never stayed in a place with a shared bathroom before, and finding this out only at check-in was very disappointing. Another frustrating point was the check-out policy. Check-out was at 10:00 AM, which we already knew from the booking, but honestly this was only the second time in my life I’ve seen such an early check-out time — and I’ve probably booked more than 200 hotels. I think the only earlier one I ever had was 9:30 AM. I genuinely do not understand why there needs to be a 4-hour gap between check-out and check-in for cleaning a room that does not even have a private bathroom. On top of that, the host said it was impossible to leave luggage after check-out because she had “negative experiences” before. So after an already disappointing stay, this just added another layer of inconvenience. Other downsides: * terrible pillows — sleeping felt like your head was at a 90-degree angle; * extremely poor sound insulation, you can hear literally every movement from other guests; * in the shower there was nothing except hand soap near the sink — no shampoo, no conditioner, no basic amenities. Positive points: * very good location; * the room itself was clean; * coffee was available in the room. Unfortunately, the bathroom situation completely overshadowed all the positives for us. Because of that, I would rate this place 2/5.

Ubicación insuperable en frente de la estación de tren Venezia Mestre, perfecta para llegar a Venecia y también para trasladarse a Santa Lucia. Como dicen otras reseñas, en el baño sí había un olor a agua estancada que se notaba más por la noche, no por falta de limpieza sino por desagües viejos seguramente. También, las toallas de mano eran muy ásperas y finas, y había algunos desperfectos en la habitación (esquinas, grifería muy vieja y rígida). Sin embargo la habitación estaba limpia, no faltaba nada fundamental (la habitación incluía una pequeña nevera) y la cama era cómoda. Para personas que buscan un alojamiento perfecto este puede ser insuficiente, pero para pasar la noche en un lugar cómodo, limpio y muy bien ubicado, el Hotel Plaza es una opción muy adecuada.
