Great place to stay if working in town centre. Nathan was brilliant with all the help and guidance. Kitchen area is nice, please could a microwave be put in. Other than that beautiful place to stay, highly recommend it.

Great hotel for the price. Rooms we stayed in were a little dated but very clean and beds comfy. Bar area great in evenings for a drink. Breakfast included for us and was super!

Arrived in the first room to find what looked blood on the floor in the room. Promptly changed via reception. Air conditioning on our floor was broken and fixed on the second day but a bad night due to hitting 26 degrees in the room and an extremely hard and uncomfortable bed New topper fitted and a sheet and fan left by housekeeping made for a better second night's sleep. The new room had a bouncy floor in the bathroom due to the grouting being broken and missing letting water in. Both rooms had sinks that where crazy cracked and with black in the cracks Shower leaked on the hose Some channels not available on the free view tv Power cables where exposed on the wall lights Corridor carpets are tired and dirty with lots of black marks and bleach spots from housekeeping The window in the rooms where tiny and the room lighting is quite poor Breakfast was fine usual continental and fried available With fruit yoghurt lovely view of lincon Enjoyed the stay once the room was sorted and changed But I did expect better and would have preferred not to have complained

We had an excellent and relaxing stay at Belton Woods Hotel. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The food especially the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. During our stay we used the pool and spa facilities which were all very clean, the pool was nice and warm and large enough for doing few lengths without getting in to anyone's way.

The hotel is close to the town centre and the high street, which is very convenient. Parking is available, but it costs £20 for 24 hours. Guests can get a 50% discount on parking when staying at the hotel. The breakfast is basic, and the amenities are limited. Overall, it is fine for a one-night stay. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The lady who owned the hotel made us uncomfortable by insisting on coming into the room with us upon arrival even after I said it’s not my first stay, and when it came to check out knocked on the door 45 mins before checkout to remind us what time checkout was and making sure we were checking out then. Really confusing service and felt like we weren’t being treated fairly; as it wasn’t like that last time I stayed and i don’t think I’ll come back, cheaper rooms with far less hassle are available.

We had a lovely stay at the William Cecil, with children and grandparents in three double rooms. The staff were delightful and couldn’t have been more accommodating. They arranged a ground floor room for grandad and two twins, as requested. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the quality of the food was very good.  The rooms were lovely. Quite compact but very nice, comfortable beds, nice toiletries and a coffee machine, which was super.

Great hotel excellent value.. The staff provided an excellent service. Rooms are spacious with plenty of storage and clothes hangers. Also provided with a hair dyer, iron, iron board, kettle tea and coffee making facilities.The bed is huge and very comfortable with good quality bed linen. Nice very clean bathroom, freshly laundered excellent quality towels, large walk in shower cubicle with a very good shower. They do not provide breakfast but you are a 10 minute walk to brewers fayre who provide breakfast. Will definitely recommend this hotel and will use it again in the future.
