We booked a 1 night stay for New Years Eve and were very happy with everything.
The room with a view was lovely . Warm & with tea coffee facilities & a comfy bed.
The staff were all very friendly & accommodating and breakfast was plentiful in a lovely dining area with fab views.
My only small grumbles would be that the furniture in the room needs an upgrade and there was a £10 charge for the car park .
Lovely hotel, new find located conveniently for Exeter Airport.
Beautiful rooms and set up , bar and restaurant very nice , breakfast and dinner excellent.
The staff at the front desk and restaurant all very courteous and helpful.

Enjoyed very much, rooms very clean,housekeeping excellent, breakfast was very tasteful food hot and replenished quickly staff were helpful Reception staff very helpful:Everything was nearby, the only thing that spoils Torquay is the beggars outside of every spare space, shame surely council can home them especially as they were putting families at ill ease

The Gents had a missing Door to One cubicle, so when I needed to use them it was a case of use the cubicle that had No paper or use the cubicle that had paper but No door.
It was embarrassing, I was hoping nobody would come in , but a gentleman did so !
Later the same day in the Evening I used the facilities again and went into the same toilets and disgustingly one cubicle toilet was Blocked, so I went to try the Disabled toilet and that was blocked with tissue too !!!
I had to go up to the Hotel room this time
I did notice that and hourly Rosta board was not visible at this hotel for Regular inspections.
Granted it was a weekend, but these needed to be checked frequently !
Quite a basic and functional room. Opens to outdoor area. Has indoor and outdoor pools and a fitness room/gym. Amazingly powerful shower and clean high spec hotel common areas. A solid 3 star hotel with free parking as a bonus for this area.

We have been to the cliffden hotel three times and had a club room on the first floor they were nice large rooms but this time we were on the second floor our room was very small and claustrophobic nothing like the photos in the booking . We asked for a different room and the man at reception said see me tomorrow morning and if there's a larger room you can have it. Later on in the day my partner went to reception to book a table for an evening meal for us. While she was booking the table the lady at the reception said there were no other rooms you can have. The barman was very polite nice to chat to. We only had one meal in the evening cod and chips could not find much cod it was all batter. Other meal gammon and chips gammon would be good to repair your soles on your shoes. Go to the local chip shop absolutely beautiful. We used the indoor swimming pool which was nice and clean. The gardens are lovely, and the beer is very expensive. Go to the jolly sailor pub with drinks at good prices. Reception is not very helpful. I can't understand why the hotel puts people with dogs on the second floor because when the dog wants to go to the toilet by the time you get down to the entrance the dog has already peed on the carpets. Luckily our dog can hold her pee and she is small enough to carry.I have followed other people with their dogs and seen it. Overall we were very disappointed with our stay this time.
UUsuario invitadoThe hotel itself was nice; can’t fault it. Our room however, had a weird, stale smell and was off-putting, with no way to ventilate the room by opening the windows, as you cannot open them - A/C is not a natural ventilation.
Bed was comfortable, slept perfectly fine, just not nice waking up with the smell, as mentioned before.
Breakfast was good, although I’ve had better.

El hotel está situado en la parte inferior de la calle principal de Totnes. Es un hotel y bar ocupados, sirven comida. El edificio es viejo con una escalera central que conduce a las habitaciones. Las habitaciones están muy limpias, decoradas de forma sabrosa y las camas son cómodas..

El hotel está muy cerca de la ciudad, pero no se puede encontrar en el hotel.
T han permanecido en otros hoteles etc si no hay vacaciones aquí, pero de mi experiencia si te gusta un ambiente relajado amigable, hermosas habitaciones, ubicación Totnes como base, entonces este es el lugar para venir .
También es un paseo a un paseo de la película más hermosa que he estado en, que se está ahogando, a lo largo de la calle principal,
El hotel ofrece capacidad para 6 coches en la parte de atrás del hotel.
KKerry5508El hotel es un hotel muy agradable. Teníamos una suite ejecutiva con cama de tamaño real y fue un sueño muy cómodo. El desayuno también fue delicioso con muchas opciones. Seguramente nos quedaríamos aquí otra vez.

We took a long weekend break and were excited to try the beach club, however our experience was dampened by the service.
Being made to stand around for 5 minutes, whilst being told we hadn't paid (when we had) was unnecessary and frankly embarrassing.
The restaurant was the most disappointing part of the stay.
I'm the evening service was slow, followed by having our order wrong twice and also dropped.
Breakfast at the restaurant was lacking compared to cheaper hotels that offer continental. Small selection , nothing outstanding. When we ordered a cooked breakfast, it took 30-40 minutes to receive some eggs and pancakes although the restaurant was fairly quiet.
However, the room, facilities, and the spa were fantastic. Beautiful and comfortable rooms. The beach club outside was gorgeous. The spa was perfect and treatments were, to quote my partner, 'one of the best massages of my life'.
We're unsure if we would come back. Although the facilities were great, the service was mostly subpar and not what we'd expect from a harbour hotel.
MMarkl TStayed here before but first time since OYO took it over from Mercure. Very central and well equipped hotel. Very dog friendly and very welcoming staff. Only complaint is the limited parking which costs £12.50 Per day if you can get a slot. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Definitely stay here again when in the City.
