«Este fue el último hotel en el que me alojé durante mi viaje de 25 días, y el que más me gustó: está justo enfrente de la terminal de autobuses de Xining, con la estación de tren a la izquierda, cruzando una callejuela, y la estación de autobuses un poco más adelante.
Cuando llegué a recepción con mi equipaje y pedí guardarlo, las dos jóvenes que me atendieron nos ayudaron con mucha amabilidad a organizarlo. Tras registrarme, fueron muy educadas y serviciales, respondiendo a todas mis preguntas con prontitud y hablando en voz baja. Los dos caballeros con los que me crucé durante el día también fueron muy amables.
Las instalaciones de la habitación cumplían con los estándares de un hotel de al menos tres estrellas, con ducha independiente y buena presión de agua. «I am from Japan, and I stayed at this hotel with my wife. Before our arrival, I was in contact with the hotel manager via WeChat. The manager personally picked us up at the airport, and we were able to get into the car without any waiting time at all. He was incredibly kind, and we communicated smoothly using a mobile translator.
Since we arrived at the hotel around 10:00 PM, the manager was very thoughtful, even asking if we wanted to order food delivery for dinner. We felt a deep sense of hospitality and warmth. We stayed in a twin room on the 16th floor; the view of the mountains from the window was beautiful, and the room was so clean that my wife and I could truly relax.
Because this hotel puts its guests first, we decided to extend our stay for an additional two nights. Thank you so much for everything!

Tthe_wanderlust_jellyWas told I am given a free room upgrade, but honestly I can't tell the difference. Also the room in the listing image was larger and brighter but the actual room I received was extremely rather grim looking, not to mention it doesn't even look like half the room size in the listing image. I also can't seem to adjust the aircon temp as it will remain at room temperature no matter what I set, however xining is quite cooling in general so it's still acceptable. In the room I was give, the glass panel at the washroom side had a severely cracked side which seem like it will break if I had closed the glass door too hard. I took a video immediately before using the toilet in case it really does get shattered, but luckily it did not Very unsafe nevertheless. The shower was the worst, every night I had to gamble if it will be cold or scalding hot water. I set the shower value slightly towards the warm side, and the water became scalding hot within seocnds, and if I move it to the cold side, it became freezing cold within seconds. Even if I set it exactly in the middle, it will give me either one of the extreme temperature. Had to keep adjusting from hot to cold so that it stay at a comfortable and safe temp range. The toilet bowl flush in a very stupid manner too, by first flooding the bowl from bottom up, this means that if you took a dump and it's a slightly sticky one, it's gonna stick. The electric kettle was so noisy when turned on that it sound like a train passing right beside my room. And speaking of noise, the sound proofing of the room was one of the worst of every single hotel I stayed in before. You can literally hear new occupants dragging their luggage or family chattering non stop right after they exit the lift. FYI, my room was literally the furthest away. Every time your neighbors from 3 room away turn on their tap water, you can hear it, even if that's like 4am in the night. The hairdryer is a safety hazard too. Tried to use it once and after plugging in and turning it on, smoke immediately came oozing out of it, so I immediately switched it off and remove the plug. Never used it since. Oh yes one last thing I have to say is that as a hotel PLEASE NEVER USE MOVEMENT OR VOICE CONTROLLED LIGHTINGS. While I wash up every day, I had to keep waving my hands like an ***** every few minutes in order to prevent the lights from going out. The detection is sooooo off that unless there's a huge action at the correct spot, it will not turn the lights back. This was absolutely annoyance.
However the things I mentioned above are although not welcomed, but can be tolerated.
Personally, the only thing I really love about this was the free tea. And that is also a highly recommended must try. I believe that's ******* black tea which is also a local specialty. I regret not trying earlier because at the latter of my trip, I no longer pass by stores that sells ******* black tea. Recommendation to the hotel is include a way to buy some of this tea.
Overall, I will only recommend the hotel to someone who do not have any other choice or have a lower budget in mind.

UUsuario invitadoThe hotel is very conveniently located, within a few minutes’ walking distance from the monastery and also accessible on foot from the bus station.
We got a room in a side alley off the main building. The room was clean, very spacious and light thanks to large roof windows. The furnishing was modern and cozy at the same time, with large comfortable beds, a small table, armchair and shelf. The bathroom was also spacious and clean, with fresh towels and hot water coming out of the shower instantly.
The staff were friendly, efficient and accommodating, letting us extend our stay for an hour beyond the regular check-out time so we could pack up and use the bathroom again before our bus departed in the early afternoon.
We can fully recommend this hotel for a stay in Rebkong/Tongren!

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the new district near Wanda Square, offering beautiful night views. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The separate dry and wet bathroom areas were especially convenient and thoughtfully designed.
The nightly snacks were both heartwarming and satisfying, and the breakfast was exceptional with a great variety of choices.
We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Xining.
