«Está a 3 minutos a pie de la salida A1 de la estación de metro de Luoyi Ancient City. A mis padres no les convencieron la sopa Húlàtāng ni el Dòumò del desayuno, probablemente una cuestión de gustos, pero los bollos vegetarianos les parecieron buenos. Ambiente: Hay un centro comercial a poca distancia, y está bastante cerca de la estación de metro. Se tarda unos 20 minutos en taxi hasta la Puerta de Yingtian, las Grutas de Longmen, la Ciudad Antigua de Luoyi o la estación de tren de alta velocidad de Longmen.

Su apalancamiento es incluso mayor que el de la mayoría de las cadenas hoteleras internacionales de cinco estrellas.

El hotel está ubicado en la antigua muralla de la ciudad. La vista desde la ventana me cautivó. El hotel es espacioso y luminoso, y la cálida iluminación me relajó al instante. El registro fue rapidísimo, y el personal de recepción no solo fue amable y profesional, sino que también me brindó información útil sobre las atracciones cercanas y los servicios especiales del hotel.
¡La habitación era aún más impresionante! La decoración era acogedora, con excelente luz y ventilación. La ropa de cama era suave y cómoda, como dormir en una nube, y dormí profundamente toda la noche. El baño tenía zonas húmedas y secas separadas, un inodoro inteligente y todos los artículos de tocador de marca, incluyendo toallas suaves y esponjosas.
El transporte público está convenientemente ubicado, a solo unos minutos a pie de las paradas de metro y autobús, y también se puede llegar fácilmente a los taxis. MMatthew Thomas RyanUn hotel fantástico para alojarse si quieres visitar las Grutas. Está a 500 metros de la entrada, justo al final del precioso puente. Reservamos la Suite Familiar y era un apartamento enorme, con mucho espacio y un balcón exterior muy bonito. LLuobinI went for the cheapest and most basic room, and it was very cheap! So whilst this review might seem negative here and there, it's merely a description of what I expected.
Firstly, it was January and was unusually cold for Zhengzhou, having recently snowed and with sub-zero temperatures. So I expected the room to be cold, as heating isn't the norm in this part of China (as it is in the North).
But the air con which one normally relies on, only blew cold air and for some reason wouldn't go above 17°C, so I turned it off. (pic)
The room had windows, but was behind a facade and allowed in very little daylight. (pic is the daytime pic of the window without the room lights on).
Instead of the Queen bed I expected, I had two very large singles, so I doubled up on the duvets and I was very warm whilst in bed.
I found the small things annoying, like plastic slippers that hurt your feet (pic) that other people have worn; coat hangers in the bathroom but not even a nail in the door to hang your coat. I used a broken edge of the door to hang my coat(pic) .
And two paper cups (no bottled water but the kettle worked well).
And only one towel, albeit a large one.
And the big gap all around door (pic) which let in smoking smells from other rooms, as well as the light from the hall.
The pillows, and bedding were comfortable and clean. The hot water was hot (I didn't dare to shower because of the cold).
The w/c functioned well, and although the beds were characteristically hard, I slept very well.
There were better rooms free which they could have given me, but they chose to give me an inferior room, which I am reviewing.
The TV worked but I couldn't get any channels on it. I've successfully used that type of TV before so I don't know what I was doing wrong.
WiFi was good.
The decor appeared 'grubby' but this is normal in China.
Check-in was quick and OK.
I booked a (free) lift to airport for the next morning, but when I turned up at the time agreed, there was nobody at reception, so I took the subway, which was adequate.
I recommend it if you are on a budget. It was cheap.
I'll try somewhere else next time. The location is great and there's an abundance of hotels in the area.

UUsuario invitadoThe location is amazing and up until the last few hours we were very satisfied with our stay. They gave a free upgrade to their newly refurbished 4th floor and that room really was awesome. We were not aware they cooked dinner well so we are out but should have dined at the Homestay. Breakfast was very simple but satisfying. They provide a transfer to Shaolin in a super nice car and plenty of free water to take with you during the day. So far so good. Now perhaps we are lost in translation but we indicated having a ride to our next stop charging between 260 and 380 through the didi app. Waaayyyy to expensive they said and offered to call a cab. The cab however was 445, a much higher rate. All rates included the toll. We asked about the type of car and were shown a luxury car. That car and that price were similar to didi premier so we said okay. Then they said it would take half an hour. We didn’t want that so said we would just go for the didi. They then said the taxi would be there faster. As you may guess; it was not. We ended up waiting well over half an hour and the taxi was a regular taxi. They ride was good, driver friendly etc but we felt a bit off about the way this went down. Again: could be lost in translation here so if you just arrange your own ride you will have an awesome stay with them. Ask for the nice room on floor 4! Picture is the view from our room.

UUsuario invitadoWe had a very pleasant 4 night stay at the Banshan Siji Hotel in Luoyang. The resort is beautiful and secluded, away from all of the hustle and bustle of downtown Luoyang while remaining accessible. The location is very convenient to the high speed rail station, Longmen Grottoes, Guang Lin Temple and Peony Museum. It’s a bit further away to get to White Horse Temple, Lintang Gate and Luoyi Ancient City. However, the hotel offers a very convenient and comfortable private shuttle for train/airport transfer and a daily trips to or from town.
Above all, I have to commend the team at this hotel for their excellent service and extremely friendly attitude. Everyone went out of their way to offer assistance for any of our needs and always with a smile. A huge bonus - they offered a complementary same-day laundry service which we used several times during our stay taking care of a major hassle on extended travels. From the reception, front desk, porters, drivers and housekeepers, we received top notch service rivalling hotels we’ve stayed at worldwide.
The breakfast also deserves special mention. The selection was not as extensive as buffets at some major hotels but the quality was excellent and we found it to be more than enough to start each day before sightseeing. In addition to a small self serve area, you can order large bowls soup or noodles and they also provide a beautiful tray of delicacies. We very much enjoyed each day’s breakfast.
Finally, the room we stayed in, with a private hot spring tub and private patio was spacious, clean, modern and beautiful. We enjoyed use the tub after full days of sightseeing to ease aching muscles and the bed was very comfortable. On our final night, we did experience a problem with a light switch not turn lights but the staff were quick to provide us another room so we could get to sleep. Another great example of their dedication to quality service.
Overall, I was very pleased to have discovered this beautiful gem in Luoyang and it made our visit to this wonderful city that much more special and memorable.
