I'd like to share my impressions of my stay at this hotel. Firstly, the hotel is very new and designer inside. The view of the village is, I'd say, the best in the area. First things first: the hotel offers a butler service, and when you arrive at the attraction, a butler will meet you and take your luggage. You don't have to bother walking to the bus, which is quite a distance, and the entire scenic area is on a mountain, requiring constant climbing. The hotel is also located on a hillside, so getting to it requires a climb up narrow steps. The butler carried my luggage and accompanied me the entire time. The walk from the entrance to the hotel took about 25 minutes, including the bus and the walk. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was greeted at reception and offered afternoon tea; there were five drinks on the menu. I chose a milk oolong tea with milk, and they offered me fruit, nuts, and homemade cookies. It was delicious. I spent the entire time relaxing, drinking tea, and enjoying the village views. After I'd rested, I went to my room. I was given a room on the 4th floor with the lucky number 888. The room has absolutely everything: excellent Loccitan cosmetics, toiletries, robes, and slippers—everything is of very good quality. There's also a modern hairdryer and steam iron. There was a bath on the balcony, but I didn't use it because it was chilly. The room is really new; it has underfloor heating if you get cold, and also air conditioning. The bed linen, pillows, and blanket were wonderful. I didn't even notice how my night passed; I truly rested for the two nights I stayed at this hotel. The hotel staff explained how I could spend my time and took me to a restaurant where I could have a delicious meal. Then I went for a walk. I spent the entire evening strolling around the village and taking in the sights. That evening, when I returned, I was offered evening soup, which I really enjoyed; it was very unusual. Since I was a foreign tourist, the hotel staff communicated with me using a translator via WeChat, which was very convenient and prevented any misunderstandings. The next morning, I was offered breakfast, which was served on the first floor of the hotel. The dining room was also very beautiful and well-renovated. After breakfast, I went for a walk around the village to take beautiful photos. I had a wonderful time in the village, taking in the sights. I especially enjoyed the local people's show on New Year's Eve, as well as the singing of the women and men of the Miao people. The day before my departure, the hotel staff asked what time my return tickets to Guiyang would be and told me they would arrange for me to be transported to the entrance so I could call a taxi. I would give this hotel the highest rating, firstly because it's in a wonderful location on a mountain with a magnificent view, and literally a three-minute walk from the main observation deck. I would also give the highest rating to the hotel personnel, and especially to the butler his wechat name Velpro, they are all tried their best to help me and accompanied me on all my questions. I would also give the highest rating to the hotel owners, who care about the interior order, cleanliness, and the care of their guests. This level of hospitality is truly rare. If I return to this village, I will definitely stay at this hotel. I recommend it to everyone.

Reservé una suite de hotel para ver el río Wuyang. We arrived in Xijiang and were immediately met with such a kind surprise—they upgraded our room for my birthday, which truly set the tone for our entire stay. We were on the third floor with the most wonderful view, looking out over their little water feature and the village beyond. Our balcony, complete with a tea set and two chairs, quickly became one of our favorite spots. Sitting there, especially in the evening, felt magical—like we were nestled among the stars overlooking the town. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the viewing platform and easily accessible down into the main village. Arriving was also incredibly smooth. As first-time visitors to China, we were quite nervous navigating trains and logistics as English speakers, but the hotel staff stepped in early with clear, thoughtful guidance. From the very beginning, they were attentive, responsive, and genuinely kind. When we arrived at the North Gate after taking the shuttle into the scenic area, a staff member met us and carried both of our bags up the hill and stairs to the accommodation. This was such a thoughtful gesture—especially because the terrain can be challenging. (For future travelers: if possible, avoid bringing heavy suitcases—but if you do, you’ll be very well taken care of here.) Check-in was seamless, and our room was extremely comfortable with all the amenities we needed. They provided water, soft robes, and made communication very easy via WeChat. Breakfast was also a highlight—we opted for the Chinese breakfast, which was light, healthy, and a perfect way to start the day before exploring all the incredible street food in town. We especially loved the communal living space—a cozy café-style area with a balcony overlooking the village. It was such a peaceful place to sit, have tea, and take in the views both during the day and under the night sky. They also had everything you could need: a coffee maker, dishes, mugs, and even fresh spring water, which was a lovely touch. The warmth of the people here truly made the experience unforgettable. The housekeeping staff were so kind, and the younger staff members were incredibly helpful and attentive. It really felt like being welcomed into a home rather than just staying at a hotel. And the little cats around the property made it even more special. On our departure day, we were running late for the last bus, and one of the younger staff members carried my very heavy bag down the hill and practically ran with it to make sure we made it on time. He stayed with us until we were safely on board. That level of care and service is something we will never forget. We would return in a heartbeat. Thank you, thank you, thank you again to the family and the entire staff for your kindness and for taking such wonderful care of us. You made our short stay in Xijiang an absolute pleasure and a weekend we will remember forever.
