«We enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy and quick. Front office staff were very helpful. Undercover parking was easy to navigate. Our room was spacious and clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom looked newly renovated. One thing that confused us was the light switch for the living room and bathroom was by the entry door. So you had to walk to the front door to turn the light on and off then walk into the bathroom. Very inconvenient. Plus there was no exractor fan for the shower so it got very steamy in there. Mirror and shower screen all fogged up. Poor design. We had a great view of the ocean. The pool area and front entry are being renovated but that didn't not inconvenience us. When the pool is completed the view from the window will be beautiful»

«To compare with the price we paid; Bed was comfy 9/10 Water pressure was 1000/10 Quietness 5/10 Air condition (it’s super loud) 2/10 Amenity 8/10 Location (we walked from the hotel to drinks in the city roughly 20 mins) 8/10 Easy to checked in/out of 10/10 We didn’t use their wifi but it’s available Darkness 8/10 the curtain is not big enough to blocked the light from outside. Cleanliness 9/10 room refreshing service was good. Size of room 9/10 Basically, it’s almost perfect if you are only there for just sleeping and spending the most of the day outside. We woke up because next room had a shower 🙂»

This destination is undoubtedly one of the most relaxing places you can visit, with breathtaking views and a tranquil atmosphere that invites you to unwind. The accommodations, especially the lakefront rooms, are fantastic. They provide a perfect vantage point to soak in the picturesque scenery. However, there are areas that need attention, particularly regarding the cleaning service. On our two-day stay, the cleaners arrived quite late, and unfortunately, their work did not meet expectations. The bed wasn't properly made, the pillowcases were not changed, and the floors were not vacuumed, which was quite disappointing. This aspect highlights the need for improved management of the housekeeping team to ensure a consistently high standard of cleanliness. The resort's restaurant, however, is a highlight. It boasts a beautiful ambiance and a menu that delivers a perfect balance of flavors. The food was expertly prepared, but we did find the portion size of the duck leg ordered for our 12-year-old to be a bit small. While the presentation and taste were exceptional, a larger portion would enhance the overall dining experience. Another minor concern was the noise levels in the rooms. With some soundproofing measures, particularly on walls shared with other rooms, the overall comfort could be significantly improved. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful, contributing to the warm atmosphere of the resort. I would highly recommend visiting Karri Valley Resort for its heavenly lake views and relaxing environment. With a few adjustments, it has the potential to be an unparalleled getaway in WA.»

«Apartamento Mountway Hotel: Una joya económica para viajeros asiáticos en Perth Recientemente me alojé en el Apartamento Mountway Hotel en Perth y debo decir que es una de las mejores opciones en su rango de precio, especialmente para viajeros asiáticos que buscan una estancia larga con cocina. Ubicación: La ubicación del hotel es increíblemente conveniente para desplazarse. Está a solo 1,1 km de la estación central de tren y puedes tomar autobuses gratuitos como el Red CAT, el Blue CAT o el Green CAT, con paradas a solo 100-250 m, perfectos para desplazarte fácilmente. Detrás del hotel se encuentra el impresionante Kings Park y el Jardín Botánico. Si no te apetece caminar los 300 m para llegar, el Blue CAT te dejará sin esfuerzo. «Very disappointed in description versus reality. No WiFi in rooms, paid extra for breakfasts, but found out they were for continental breakdasts which are complimentary anyway. Meals were not value for money. Very ho hum. No waiter service, it was scan Qr code for menu, order and payment. White ants on the kitchenette bar in our room. Conditioner on wall in shower had been used up and filled with water. Location was great.»

«The staff were friendly and helpful. The included continental breakfast was good. The location across from the beach was great and also easy to walk around the main part of town. Lots of choices of places to eat within walking distance. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.»

«Nice and clean apartment with plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. Need to do pre check in with credit card. Check in between 2 and 4 pm otherwise need to pre arrange to collect keys. Public car park below apartment but secured car park is underground.»

«I’ve stayed in fair few budget and mid-range hostels, and overall, Cable Beach Backpackers has a really good vibe. The Good Stuff: • Its a perfect Location. Literally walking distance to Cable Beach, restaurants, and bars. There’s also a bus stop right outside that heads into town every 20 minutes, which was a lifesaver. • The staff are so welcoming and easy to chat with. The little on-site bar has great prices, and the outdoor area is awesome—heaps of undercover seating and a brilliant hammock zone. The kitchen is also massive with plenty of room to cook and store your food. • Having good Wi-Fi was amazing, especially since mobile network coverage can be pretty patchy around the area. • I felt completely safe the entire time. I never worried about my personal safety or my belongings, which is always a huge relief when backpacking. The Not-So-Good Stuff (Just being honest): • I was in a 4-person dorm. It’s pretty basic (two bunks and a clothes rack) and felt super cramped once everyone brought their bags in. The biggest issue was airflow. The window wouldn’t open, so even with the ceiling fan and two portable fans blasting, it got really stuffy and stinky. The only way to get fresh air was leaving the main door wide open. While I felt safe enough to do this, it’s still not ideal for privacy or keeping the bugs out. Putting flyscreens on the doors could fix this! • I didn't see any lockers in the room for safely locking away small valuables. If they do have them and I just missed them, it would be great to have them highlighted at check-in, otherwise adding some would be a great upgrade. • There are noise restrictions after 10 PM, but people were still talking loudly, playing music and making noise late into the night every evening. Also, a lot of guests didn't clean up after themselves, so the shared tables and bathrooms were pretty messy a lot of the time. People also ignored the designated smoking areas. Overall, the location, Wi-Fi, and staff are top-notch, and it feels like a very safe spot to stay. I know you get what you pay for but it could still do with a little bit of a reno and better upkeep to stop the shared spaces from getting messy.»

«Friendly reception! Would be great if we can check in earlier but not a big issue as we can explore the area before check-in. Great that the recreation centre is just opposite. Managed to have 2 pickleball games during our stay.»
