Hotel was close to several train and tram stations, making it easy to access a variety of routes and lines. There were also plenty of great food and drink options nearby — from morning coffee and afternoon matcha to flaky pastries and comforting hot meals. While some places were not immediately next door, they were still comfortably walkable, including Little Rogue, Matcha Kobo, Puzzle Coffee, Time After Time, Lulu’s Malaysian Hawker, and many more. Also worth mentioning, I arrived in Melbourne earlier than expected and called the hotel to ask when the room would be ready. The staff were punctual and reliable, as I was able to check in exactly at the time they advised the room would be available.

The hotel's location is really good. It's super convenient to get to the hotel from the terminal. The room size is good for unpack & repack your stuff for the trip. Since we didn't have breakfast included in the booking. There are 2 choices for the breakfast: 1. Hotel's breakfast for 35AUD/person 2. Deli cafe. We had a sandwich & muffin there. It's quick and easy to get ready in the morning.

The Mercure Welcome is a legacy asset in a prime location that is currently being outclassed by newer CBD developments. While its position on Little Bourke Street offers unrivaled proximity to the Emporium and Bourke Street Mall, the property operates as a ”location-only” play. For the business traveler, the logistics of this hotel are a significant friction point. The absence of on-site parking at an accessible price—and the subsequent five-minute trek to a third-party car park—nullifies the ”convenience” of the central location. If you are handling luggage or working on a tight schedule, this five-minute gap is a structural inefficiency. The 2022 renovation has kept the rooms functional, but the basic amenities and soundproofing issues reinforce its status as a mid-tier utility rather than a premium experience. Stay here only if you are on foot and require immediate access to the retail core; otherwise, the trade-off isn't worth the operational hassle.

¡La ubicación es muy buena! Está muy cerca de la estación de tren y autobús aéreo, a sólo cinco minutos a pie. Hay un baño separado, esta condición, esta ubicación y el precio es muy concienzudo. En el que me quedé el día anterior no era mucho más barato que este. Tenía baño compartido, lo que me asustó muchísimo. Hay mucha comida coreana y japonesa en la puerta, los tazones grandes son baratos y el arroz está caliente. También está la Superliga asiática que compré a Ma Liuji. La niña de la recepción, Alice, es una estudiante internacional china. Es muy amable y puede registrarse en chino. ¡Una estancia muy agradable!

This lovely hotel made my stay in Melbourne absolutely fantastic.😀 The staff were so welcoming and gave me a wonderful experience right from check in on my first day. I had such a great time here and can’t wait to come back to Melbourne again soon!!!!!❤️

¡Genial! Muy cerca del aeropuerto. Servicio de traslado Ibis con recogida y regreso al aeropuerto. La habitación era excelente y muy cómoda. El personal es súper amable. Sin duda, volveré.

We had a lovely stay at Crowne — the room, facilities, and overall experience were excellent. Everything was comfortable and well-presented, and we really enjoyed our time there. However, we did request room cleaning on the first day, and unfortunately no one came. We had to follow up with the concierge the next day to have it arranged. Given the price point, this was a little disappointing as we expected a more seamless level of service. That said, aside from this hiccup, everything else was very good.

I arrived at late check-in time on 2/11 Sunday and Mildua Inlander's staff was after office hour so I contacted to staff for room check-in by phone call, Staff are so helpful to help me to collect the room key and required admin work. However, due to the resort's layout and my room location(my room is ROOM 90), the circulation of the hotel is not poor, poor room ordering(it is not by 101 for on 1/F like typical hotel, it is using 1-50 for G/F, 51-100 for level 1; if 101-110 for block 1, 121-129 for block 2, 131-139 for block 3, 141-150 for block 4 would be better), no coherent corridor at the end, not much signage and map/easy to miss, no Lift or easy ramp for level 1. so, it is hard to find my room and poor experience before entry the room. Room is good for me. One thing is: can consider to have openable window after the mosquito net on the balcony sliding door if I don't want to turn on the air-conditioner.

It's clean and tidily, facility for swimming pool, BBQ, gym and sauna room. locations are good and convenience. supermarkets around especially a lots of restaurant near by. will recommend it. and I will keep using for next trips to MEL.
