Really a nice place, that I enjoyed, even if I stayed only a night here. Pleasant staff, that make you feel a friend, not a guest there. Clean room, bath, bedsheets, basic hygienic things provided. Would have never expected this much, from a 2* facility! Pleasantly surprised 💖 Quiet place, perfect for exploring the heart of Zurich! Would definitely consider coming again 🥰

We spent one night the room is clean the bathroom equipped the staff very kind and helpful the coffee and tea at will the beds comfortable the hotel is well located There are many restaurants where we can eat international and local food or just to take a coffee or tea

It’s not as though I planned to stay long in Zurich, and in fact, we only needed a hotel for the first night of a longer trip. The Alexander Guesthouse and Hotel was convenient, centrally located in the old town, and just a walk from the Zurich HB (hauptbahnhoff, or central station). The location is the first point towards 5/5. Next is the service. Upon arriving, carrying at least one bag too many, I left my partner at a bench, while I went to check in. As I checked in with the front desk, they sent a man to collect her. He carried our bags (from around the corner, and down a block), and with a friendly smile, and great welcome brought our duffels and packs inside. The service was welcoming, and as they informed me that they’d given me an “upgrade” I was pleased to find our corner room on an upper floor, with a pleasant view of the small plaza below. An Alnatura grocer is situated right next to the hotel, which is also convenient. The area around the hotel is a pied a marché, where there are many shops, restaurants, and, as is the only real problem with Zurich, smokers. But the hotel is a winner. Relatively inexpensive, well situated, and staffed with excellent people.

L'hotel non offre stanze particolarmente grandi e la colazione è sicuramente migliorabile ma la struttura non ha niente da invidiare ad altre di livello superiore grazie a tutte le accortezze che lo staff presente garantisce. Pulizia (elemento essenziale in una struttura del genere), cortesia, professionalità. Prezzi assolutamente competitivi (anzi addirittura inferiori alla media). Struttura posizionata a 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione centrale e a pochi passi dalla fermata del tram nella centralissima Old Town. Particolare menzione la merita lo staff. Tutti gentili, attenti e pronti a dare una mano. Un particolare ringraziamento a Laura e al Direttore che ci hanno aiutati a risolvere un problema delicato che avrebbe potuto compromettere il soggiorno e che, invece, grazie anche al loro intervento ha trovato risoluzione in poco tempo. Grazie anche a tutto il resto del personale che si è interessato a noi e che non ci ha fatti sentire soli. Torneremo sicuramente. Tanti auguri Laura per il tuo matrimonio!!!

Facil de encontrar, check in rápido, e quarto pequeno porém muito aconchegante, cama confortável e tudo muito limpo, foi uma experiência muito além do que esperava, recomendo, otimo custo benefício, restaurantes muito próximos. Perfeito p/ mim e filha
