The St. Regis Zhuhai

I love the hotel. It is very clean and big and convenient. The staff are very friendly, I will definitely come back.

Very clean room and environment, the only problem was that there was no window or balcony and it feel very close area room, breakfast was very good and delicious and so varied 😍

Pros 1. Luxury treatment (Good services after check-in) 2. Professional arrangement (after Check-in & Check-out) 3. Front desk quick response & availability to deliver request (Room call) 4. Well mannered staff with warm welcome Cons 1. Unacceptable delayed check-in (3 hours waiting) 2. Afternoon tea boring menu. Nothing special at high price. Mediocre food that not match the price. 3. No courtesy. Tea time bills should be treated by hotel (we are waiting for the room at the table as we have no where to go.) 4. Morning Breakfast variety need improvement especially the Asian corner, taste bad in China is unacceptable specifically the noodles soup taste terribly bland. 5. Morning Breakfast consumption not enough to cater with the numbers of customers. Session end at 11:00am but at 10:00am many variety left empty. 6. Windows glass need cleaning due to dirt blurry view (Hotel Room Suite with a view of the harbor). 7. Serious improvement needed for the hi-tea sets, lost my appetite looking at the cookies and cakes decorated with a tray of fake grass, look gross. Majority of the items on the plate taste cold and bland being left over unfinished. Overpriced ridiculous portion of truffle fries with little to no truffle at all, rely on tomatoes sauces and sour cream from other plates. TWG tea should be served FREE because taste like tap water, the tea bag is dated and tasteless maybe expired. Coffee beans need to upgrade for its price my expectation it should be better than Luckin coffee. 8. Certain area of the hotel suite is a little dated and need replacement especially the bathroom mirrors that looked oxidized as if fungus is living in it. 9. Please replace the rain shower hose, it’s dated and not function properly. Conclusions There is nothing really wrong with the hotel, it’s the food menu need to change and the hotel room take note on the small details as we paid hefty price a night. Workforce management needs to pay attention, why would you need 3 hours to prepare a room? You kill tourist day and time that you can’t undo. Customer is paying for the luxury, we don’t pay to hear how sorry from St.Regis staff that failed to deliver. We are not here to listen to your problems.

Check in was a breeze. The river view was enjoyable despite cloudy weather. Room was extremely spacious and the interior was luxurious and exquisitely designed. Butler service was satisfactory, though would have hoped tea come in teapots and porcelains like St. Regis in other Asian cities instead plain white takeaway cups. Long queue before being admitted for breakfast.

Hotel facilities and buffet breakfast are very good. The staff of hotel (Cora) is very friendly and helpful. Nice Experience.

First-time stay at the St. Regis, and it was an impressive and delightful experience. The spacious room featured classy furniture and offered excellent views of the bay and river, as the hotel is located on the top floors of the tallest skyscraper next to the Zhuhai Convention Center. The front desk and concierge staff were extremely welcoming. Special thanks to Sean (front desk) and Colyn (concierge) for their patience and for providing thorough, helpful information for our perfect excursion to Doumen and Zhongshan. While the location is a bit distant from Gongbei, the hotel is just a 10-minute taxi ride from the landmark Huafa Shopping Arcade and also 10 minutes from Hengqin Promenade, which features a flower exhibition. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel’s complimentary buffet breakfast on our checkout date. I will definitely return with my family for a short getaway.
