Lovely youth hostel! Got upgraded for free from the bunkhouse to the twin room, excellent service.

The host is a very hospitable, easy check-in process. I got upgraded from a shared bunk bed to a double bedded room upon arrival for free which was really great! They're also accommodating to let me store my bags on checkout day.
Shower gel and shampoo are provided in individual bottles which really ensure hygiene. Towels are not included, hence consider bringing one with you.
Slippers are also provided which is really a plus point to make their guests comfortable! The owner also gave me some local produce of ZhangJiaJie (pears) and also badge as a gift.
There's also a local food court/canteen called 燕窝塔社区食堂 that offers super adorable meals that cost CN¥12.
Overall, a very delightful stay experience. Highly recommended. 🫶

The main selling points of this place are the ambiance, the mountain view from your rooms, and the fact that most, if not all, of them seem relatively new. There are hot and cold showers and tables and chairs for those working while traveling. They have a pleasant and accommodating lobby. The staff helped me bring my luggage up. The staff is nice and friendly—this is the best part, even though they don’t speak English.
However, shared/bunker rooms do not have air conditioning, as indicated, but I think it must be included in the price since it’s a basic necessity nowadays for travelers. Nevertheless, it’s a calm and smooth experience. And there are no basic amenities like soap and shampoo in the toilet/shower area, which I felt must be included in the basic needs of a traveler just like what else does.

The best hostel in the city, if not in China! Modern facilities, clean rooms, toilets and showers, free washing machine, wifi, new air conditioning in every room/dormitory, very cute courtyard, quiet location and super nice staff. Very patient (even with me 😅), always in a good mood and very helpful. They suggested a tour of the sights that fitted in perfectly with my available time and my needs. I was also given a wechat contact who I could contact at any time of the day or night if I needed help. The hostel appears to be part of the hotel next door, both designed by Chinese artist Li Junsheng. There is a free permanent exhibition (I hope I'm right?) of his paintings in the hotel, which I can only recommend!
Many thanks to the hostel team, I felt very comfortable here and would love to come back!

Perfect place to stay while exploring Zhangjiajie! The staff are so sweet and friendly (including the cute dog!). One afternoon they gave me tea and fruits while I sat in the common area. The dorm was super spacious, clean and comfortable. There were only a few of is staying so it was really peaceful and cozy with the heater on at night! Highly recommend!

Thank you so much! The staff is very helpful and accommodating with flexible hours for check out. I had the pleasure to share a celebration with everyone at the hostel, which was really nice! The location is perfect, there are so many options for food and entertainment walking distance.

Super cozy place. The bunks are comfortable and provide good privacy. Also the staff is super helpful and helped me to organize my stay. They even helped me get tickets for the attractions during golden week.
