Después de dos años de espera debido a la pandemia, finalmente pudimos realizar nuestro sueño. He de decir que el hotel respetó la reserva durante dos años!, lo cual es sinceramente de agradecer. Todo fue maravilloso, el alojamiento, la comida, la atención del personal, todo. Ya la primera mañana cumplió con creces nuestras esperanzas al ver a un grupo de leones comiendo. Espectacular!!, y así día tras día hasta ver a un guepardo comiendo. La cena en el Boma fue una delicia. El corredor subterráneo hasta el abrevadero frente al hotel nos dio la oportunidad de ver muy de cerca a los elefantes, sobre todo a un macho en celo!

Apart from the spectacular sightings of cheetahs, lions, lion cubs, black & white rhino, elephants, Crimson breasted shrike and the list goes on. We had a fantastic time at Rhulani. We were welcomed by the Signature welcome wave every single time we went out and came back. Our guide, James, the best we ever experienced on a game drive, added a personal touch by remembering stories everyone told. He had an inclusive approach by making sure every single one on the game vehicle gets to see what they asked to see. Being conscious of birdwatchers and non-birdwatchers and making the experience pleasant for all. James has a passion for what he does and our drives were knowledgeable and fun. The staff at Rhulani, all Friendly and professional. Nosa, your warmth and sincere personality made us feel extra welcome. I can mention so many more names, but everyone was very kind. The boma dinner was a highlight ending with Willem& Tom’s marshmallows on s’mores. The food was good too. As South Africans, We go on lots of safaris but the friendly staff & everyone greeting each other on the Madikwe roads are something that stood out for me. It makes the experience so pleasant & relaxing. You meet other friends on these tours just by being indulged in the relaxing experience of this lodge. We will definitely visit them again and highly recommend this for your next stay.

Wow, what a place. We booked Rhulani for our honeymoon and first ever safari, it’s safe to say we will return again! The experience was incredible, the lodge is beautiful, the food and service - wow! The whole team, especially our ranger Alasdair are fabulous, our ranger gave us the best safari experience we could have wished for. Thank you to all of the Rhulani team x

From the most friendly and helpful staff to the location of the lodge we could not fault Rhulani .They have their own waterhole and a fantastic hide where you can get up close and very personal with the elephants ! The perfect room for us was Room number 1 , right by the fence where you could sit on your verandah watching the animals passing by . During our 4 night stay dinner delicious food was served in a different location which was another lovely touch . Thank you Tom and team for a great lodge experience and Alasdair for providing the most exciting and knowledgeable game drives .

As part of a bigger trip we spend three Nights at Rhulani Lodge in the Madikwe Game Reserve. What shall I say? It was a lifetime experience! The Lodge itself offered more then you can expect within beautiful nature while having wild Animals like Elefants or Rhinos just infront of our porch. Highlight is definitely a „secret“ hideaway giving you the chance to observe all kinds of animals drinking at the water whole located within the area of the Lodge. We where served so much different high quality food while experiencing high class Service during every second of our stay. Tom Hendrik and the whole Team just did an extraordinary job! Our daily two Game drives with our Guide Dean exceeded any kind of expectations we had! Not only did we see so many Animals we only knew from the TV beforehand but also Deans knowledge and interesting facts about the Wildlife in Madikwe contributed to this experience. We highly recommend the Rhulani Lodge and the entire Team. Also for People like us who have never been to the Bush before. You might get addicted ;)

It's difficult to put into words the overall experience we had on our safari vacation. Apart from the amazing drives we went on with our guide Alister, everything was taken care of before we ever had to ask. The luxury lodges were fantastic! The plunge pools were perfect mid day and after the afternoon drive. The massages were extremely relaxing. Everyone on staff was delightful and treated us like family. Looking forward to our next trip there.

Once again we were for 6 nights in Rhulani safari lodge. It was one of our best holidays ever. As the the other stays we felt unwind from the moment we arrived until we had to leave. The lodge is truly wonderful, you have all the privacy you need plus a super super Hospitality. The staff is fabulous, warm - hearted, always helpful and super friendly. We felt very comfortable. The Game Drives with our Guide Alasdair were absolutely phantastic. We have not enough word to describe our Feelings. Every drive was sensational, the brain was overloaded with breathtaking impressions. We saw 3 different leopards, many lions with cubs, elephants,black and white rhinos, hyenas (brown and spotted), flying Kori Bustards and much more. One highlight was the special Dinner to my birthday. The employees and Manager Tom Hendrik organized a very special event. Thanks for this. I was emotionally deeply touched. THANKS!!! Also thanks to Mr. Steiner, owner of Rhulani for all his help and understanding for all our questions and wishes. We will definitly come back. And we can highly recommend these Lodge deep in the wonderful Bush of Madikwe. Thanks !

We had a fabulous four days at Rhulani! Madikwe is an underappreciated gem with a wonderful variety of habitats and great management (notably the restrictions on the number of vehicles at a sighting, beautifully managed by all the guides working as a team). We are veterans of many safaris in Eastern and Southern Africa, but we concluded that James was the best guide we had ever had---an inexhaustible source of knowledge and insight, ever-enthusiastic about sharing it, and always happy to bend over backwards to accommodate everyone's preferences. The staff at the Lodge were wonderful too, down to taking the time to teach us the "wedding dance" so that we wouldn't embarrass ourselves (too much) at our next stop. Thank you so much to all! We will return.

We had the most unforgettable stay at Rhulani safari lodge! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the surroundings and the incredible care of the staff. The rooms were simply stunning, with a direct view of the watering hole where we had the magical experience of watching elephants and their babies, zebras, impalas, and more right from our window! The proximity to nature was unlike anything we've experienced before, and the view from the lodge offered us a front-row seat to these magnificent animals. We were also extremely lucky to have Dylan as our guide. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable about everything in the Madikwe reserve, but his passion for conservation was truly inspiring. We learned so much from him, and his enthusiasm made every game drive an interesting and exciting experience. We especially loved setting up for morning coffee and sundowners with Dylan, hearing his stories and insights about the wildlife and his own experiences. If you have the chance, definitely request him – he’s amazing! The service at the lodge was impeccable, with every staff member ensuring we were comfortable and well looked after. The food was another highlight— the 4 course dinners were truly something special and the perfect way to end each adventure-filled day. Overall, this was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we couldn’t recommend Rhulani safari lodge more highly! Thank you for making our stay so extraordinary!
