We picked this hotel because it is the highest rated hotel in Zamboanga City in TripAdvisor and there were no horrible comments. That’s really not a compliment for the city. The highest rated hotel in Zamboanga is, sadly, average to below average. It was not a bad experience, but it was not impressive. What’s good is that the hotel runs like a real one. People are polite and accommodating, the room we were given was clean, the sheets while not new-looking were clean and clean-smelling. However, it’s dated and it just has to pay attention to things that travellers like my family will see very negatively, like holes and stains on the curtains, stains on the carpet, the need to re-grout the bathroom, etc. Breakfast was average, if not lacking. In my experience, the addition of breakfast longganisa and arroz caldo could up the breakfast experience significantly. If this amazing city wants more tourists from Manila and even other countries, it has to have a hotel that gives an excellent experience. With the kind of good service it gives, this hotel can be an excellent one. Good luck and I hope the hotel takes this review as a positive challenge.

It was a good place for a large group to stay. The water supply is very good, amenities as well. It's far from the city and ideal to have your own vehicle or rent a car to travel from the city back to the apartelle, vice versa or anywhere else in the city. Areas for improvement: Receptionists must be ready to welcome the guest because booking was made ahead of time and was informed of the late check in. We waited quite a long time to attend. The distance from the city must be updated on the website and travelling time. The contact number also needs to be updated because the number posted on the website is not the correct number. Not contactable. Words of appreciation to the management: We appreciated so much that despite the no refund policy, we still receive a little refund of our entire 4 nights booking. We only stayed one night because of the far distance from the city. Overall, the place is still recommended. I will consider it in the future and include to Plan the transportation. La experiencia de nuestra estancia en la Suite Ejecutiva de Dos Sesiones es buena. Sin embargo, me gustaría sugerir que la próxima vez añadan algunos muebles, mesa y sillas. En cuanto al servicio, es bastante bueno, pero al ingresar - creo que ha ocurrido un problema que he reservado claramente en línea 3 días y 2 noches, pero se preguntan si vamos a prolongar nuestra estancia. I recently had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Marcelina, and unfortunately, my overall experience was marred by the unprofessional behavior of one particular male manager or who I think is the officer in charge. While I appreciate the efforts of the hotel staff to create a pleasant environment, the conduct of the manager was deeply disappointing. During my stay, I observed that this manager interacting with hotel staff in a manner that can only be described as unprofessional. This behavior was evident not only in his communication with guests but also in his interactions with the hotel staff. As a guest and a former hotelier, witnessing such behavior from a manager not only diminished the quality of my stay but also created a negative atmosphere within the hotel. One specific incident that stood out occurred when I overheard him engaged in a conversation with someone else. The tone and language used were unprofessional and did not align with the standards of hospitality one would expect from a reputable establishment. It was disheartening to witness a manager representing the hotel in such a manner. With his behavior this individual should not be working in a hotel. The impact of his behavior extended beyond my personal observations, as I noticed a visible discomfort among the hotel staff. This created an unfavorable atmosphere that undoubtedly affected the overall guest experience. I believe it is crucial for the management of the hotel to address these concerns promptly. A manager's role is pivotal in shaping the perception of the hotel, and the unprofessional conduct displayed detracts from the otherwise positive aspects of the establishment. In the interest of maintaining a high standard of hospitality and ensuring a positive guest experience, I recommend that the hotel management or owner address this matter promptly. Training programs on professional conduct and effective communication may be beneficial for him and the staff alike.

for a night stay, the room rate was a steal. both of us had modest breakfast at 700 pesos per head. this hotel offers cable TV, hot & cold shower, fresh linens, dental kits, complimentary bottled water, twin beds and air conditioner. it even has a pair of slippers. but we brought our own. there were no hangers. they provided us with two hangers per our request. and there's only one pillow for each bed. you have to pay extra 20 pesos for each additional pillow. we asked for 4 more pieces. wifi is stable but a little bit slow. this is a nice hotel but kinda far from the center. our room view consisted of tin roofs from the adjacent neighborhood.

I recently had a surprise birthday celebration organized by my family at LM Hotel on September 17. It was a fun and memorable experience, and I was impressed by the excellent service provided by the staff. I paid the bill in full via credit card and even left a generous tip to acknowledge the hard work of the servers. However, a week later, I discovered that my credit card had been overcharged. I immediately contacted the hotel to resolve the issue, but what followed was a frustrating experience. I was put on long holds, transferred between departments, and was repeatedly told the issue was due to the bank. Despite their promises to refund the excess charges, weeks have passed, and I have yet to receive any resolution. While the celebration itself was great, LM Hotel’s lack of honesty and accountability in handling the billing issue has left me feeling cheated. It’s disappointing that what should have been a simple fix has turned into an ongoing problem. A hotel that prides itself on service should ensure that their financial dealings are just as professional and transparent as their hospitality. What a SHAME! To all patrons, i hope you will check your bank transactions with this establishment. Who knows you might be another victim of this unfortunate scheme! BEWARE!

We chose this hotel based on the reviews. However, The hotel is very good looking and the room was ok but OMG...The water pressure was barely a dribble, and oh DO NOT DRINK THE WATER is posted on the wall. Be ready to take 10 min to wash and rinse your hands and a shower, hahaha, wait about 5 min for WARM water. And the wifi...again hahaha constantly in and out. Always have to change from hotel Primera to Primera g or TP link or nothing at all. We didn't know that if we wanted our room cleaned, well forget about it. If you don't tell them, sorry the 2 bath towels you get to use over and it's the hotel policy not to provide wash cloths or hand towels and when we asked them to bring us clean towels, they said ok but we need to charge you 100php. You also might want to bring your own trash can as well because the can is equal to a gallon size jug. I guess the ants in the room are something to snack on because there's no vending, no ice machine.

The hotel was nice. I remember staying in the hotel decades ago when I was a child, so it was nostalgic. The hotel is relaxing and nice. The rooms (we stayed in the new building) we clean, nice and modern. The TVs were a bit basic though. The restaurant has very long wait times but the food was really tasty. Unfortunately we actually saw a massive rat run past us in the restaurant. It weirdly didn't bother us too much though. I'd still recommend staying at the hotel. It's conveniently close to the city and the airport. The rooms were nice and comfortable.
