The hotel is situated next to the sea between the 2 beautiful sandy beaches of St. Nicholas. For nature lovers, Gerakes beach is 3 km away - a famous turtle nesting beach with impressive sandstone and limestone cliffs. Argassi, a tourist town full of pubs, bars, restaurants and a variety of nightlife entertainment options is also close to the hotel, around 15 minutes by car. Guests will also find restaurants, bars and shops in the immediate vicinity, while links to the public transport network are to be found 500 m away. Zakynthos is approximately 15 km from the beach hotel and Zakynthos International Airport is around 20 km away. The hotel is a small building with a friendly atmosphere. Guests can expect a mix of modern and traditional styles, complete with facilities and services such as pool bar, restaurant, Internet access, a childrens playground and a car park. Further facilities include a lobby, safes in room, currency exchange facilities and WLAN Internet access (fees apply). All rooms of the hotel are bright, simply decorated and furnished, quiet and relaxing. Each room has a shower, twin beds,(few doubles)phone,TV, safe, Internet access, air conditioning and a fridge. A balcony or terrace also features in all rooms as standard and some rooms also provide a kitchenette. There is an outdoor swimming pool with poolside snack bar and sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. Guests may also relax in the jacuzzi. Sun loungers and parasols can also be hired for a fee on the nearby sandy beach of St. Nicholas. The hotel offers bed and breakfast stays, with a continental breakfast buffet served in the breakfast room each morning. From the airport, follow the signs to the only road towards Vasilikos town.

We have just returned from a 2 week stay.This was our first visit to Zakynthos and all our recent holidays were to all inclusive hotels.So this was a bit of an experiment, being a 3 star hotel where we were on a B&B basis?We needn’t have worried We booked through Jet 2 but just before travelling we upgraded to a Superior Room direct with Hilary and the room was more than adequate with sufficient space for the 2 of us a comfortable bed, large shower and balcony.The setting is beautiful with mature pines,the pool is lovely.Breakfasts were fine.Snacks and drinks were available by the pool throughout the day at a reasonable price.St Nicholas beach was literally 200 yds with soft sand and lovely for swimming and snorkelling We hired a car for 2 days and saw quite a bit of the island as well as going to a couple of highly rated tavernas 1-2 kms away.However we thought that the local beach was probably the nicest and the Taverna Familia which we went to on numerous occasions and was probably closer than many hotel dining rooms we have experienced, was probably as good as any. It was a successful trip.Hillary and all her staff were unfailingly pleasant,courteous efficient and professional .If we were to return to Zakynthos we would certainly stay at this hotel.

This is a very friendly, welcoming hotel. All the staff are great. Lovely swimming pool and although we went in the second half of June, never any problem in getting a sunbed. Only one couple put their towels out to reserve a bed. You also get free sunbeds and parasols on part of the nearby beach. The beach is sandy and is 100 metres away. This is a quiet resort, which is why we went. There are 5 tavernas/restaurants within a 5 minute walk and a couple more within a 20 minute walk, plus several beach bars. Only negative was that air conditioning in the rooms was 10 euros a night which seemed a bit steep.

It was our second trip to Zakynthos. We chose the Vassilikos Beach hotel based on reviews. The hotel is located close to beautiful sandy beaches, restaurants, and a shop, which was significant given the very high temperatures that prevail at the end of June. Not only is the hotel's location an advantage, but the service is also very friendly. Upon arrival, we requested a room on a lower floor due to our age. Despite the hotel being fully booked, our request was honored by making changes to reservations, for which we were very grateful. The rooms were cleaned every day, the air conditioning worked well, and there was a large refrigerator in the room's amenities. Breakfast was quite sufficient, served in a nice cafeteria. Lunch could be enjoyed throughout the day, and in the evening, one could drink good wine. There was no problem with access to sunbeds by the pool. The only issue in the afternoon hours was the water temperature in the pool, which was too high due to the heat; therefore, in the afternoon, we opted for sea bathing (even though the sea temperature was around 36 degrees Celsius!). We recommend this hotel to everyone.

We have now stayed here 3 years in a row and each time the experience gets better. This is a family run hotel, with a lovely pool, that manages to excel in looking after our every need, nothing seems too much for the staff when it comes to keeping guests happy. The hotel is located in a nice quiet corner of Zante that doesn’t seem to change. This year we extended to 11 days and that felt perfect.

We came here for 7 days to escape the wet and wind back'ome, and we are really glad we did. Fab location with lovely pool and beach, if you desire, a very short walk away. Accommodation lovely,clean and well maintained. Breakfast, an excellent choice offered, catering for all tastes. All staff,very friendly,welcoming and attentive. We would very highly recommend this hotel to other travellers,who want a quiet, relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable time. A big thank you to Hilary and her staff.

Sadly disappointing. Room not kept very clean, walk in shower and separate toilet, no bathroom as such, the sink was in the room next to wardrobe (no doors) . Nasty smells from shower and toilet! Breakfast was average buffet, BUT, so called hot food was always cold (bacon, eggs, beans etc.) there is a notice above hot? food cabinet stating if you want your food hotter, ask the staff to put it in a microwave!! On arrival you're given a slip of paper stating extra costs for things I.e. fresh orange juice, clean towels, air conditioning etc. Drinks in the bar were more expensive than anywhere else. Overall a very expensive hotel for what you get! We have stayed in Vasilikos twice a year over the last 10 years, so know what's what, this was our first stay here, but won't be returning.

We highly recommend this lovely place to stay! The hotel is very well run and in an excellent location between two lovely sandy beaches. Lovely pool, nice clean rooms and the food was good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There are 4 tavernas very close by, but many more a nice 20 or so minute walk away. Our favourite was Kostas Brothers from which we walked back along Banana Beach when the sun was setting. Beautiful. We didn’t hire a car and still managed to get to Gerakas, Porto Roma and Zakinthos town (and back) via walking and the bus. Thank you Hiliary and your team.

This hotel is lovely, set in a very quiet area, with just a few restaurants, beach is few steps away which was nice. We hired a car for a couple of days so that we could see the area and we were glad we did, it is very beautiful. Banana beach is a short walk away and is a must with exeptional food . There is a bus stop also at the back of the hotel, you could also hire a taxi. The breakfast is basic but always freshly made, the room we had was a standard , not much area space and 2 single beds which were comfortable, bathroom was separate shower and toilet . They did come in to clean the room every day, however we were told that we could not have change of towels only once a week because we were with Jet 2, this was not what we expected as we have been booking with Jet 2 for many years and this was the first time ever that we have not had clean towels every day in a hotel, which meant we were struggling having showers twice a day. On the day we were leaving we were told that we could keep the room no extra charge as our flight was late afternoon , which was very kind.
