The hotel exceeded our expectations and was such a fantastic choice of hotel. We wanted a peaceful break, we got a great hotel in a lovely quiet location, all within walking distance of the beach or harbour, the hotel has exceptional friendly professional staff and nothing is too much, they go above and beyond. The food was fabulous with great choices every day, I am pescatarian so was happy to see a fish dish each day, with lots of fresh salad or vegetables, equally my hubby had chips most days!Service in the restaurant was excellent. We had a double room which I heard people say were small, they are on the small side but have everything you need, they are spotless and have the most comfortable bed, and lovely fluffy clean towels, we had a balcony overlooking the olive groves and they are cleaned daily, also lots of nice surprise treats left in our room which make you smile. The pool area and gardens are clean and have lovely comfortable sunbeds lovely to see no one reserved them! Or you can can chill in the garden area, Having found this gem of a hotel we will definitely visit again. Thankyou Castelli family and staff for making our holiday so special, your hotel is one in a million.

My partner and I stayed in a swim-up room from late September to early October. What we remember most is the warm way we were received and continued to be made to feel welcome every day. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. When we couldn't rent the e-bikes that were included in our stay, they arranged for us to get a car instead, which allowed us to see the whole island. They put little treats such a cocktails and a bottle of wine in our room while we were out, always with lovely wee notes. Castelli also has a selection of beautiful jewellery from local artists, and the staff helped us select and wrap up the gifts for people at home. Food: the buffet had plenty of options, and everything tasted incredibly fresh and homemade. We especially enjoyed the custard filled dessert, I think it's called Bougatsa, and I love the sauce they used for vegetables and chickpeas and such (I'm vegetarian so didn't eat the meat). The room: we had our own little pool! The water flows into the other pools next to it, but everyone was very respectful of each other's privacy. The only thing I struggled with was getting my book to the bed on the other side without getting it wet, but there were plenty of other places to sit and lie down. We were lucky in that we had sun almost every day, and it was 25-27 degrees. The terras outside the room was sheltered from the wind, so it actually felt too hot at times! This week was a gift we gave each other for our anniversary, and as such we kind of kept to ourselves. We didn't join the activities, but so many did look fun. If you're looking for a bit of a sense of community, you can definitely find that here. Or if, like us, you just want a week sunshine, food, and the chance to explore a new place, then you can't go wrong with Castelli. This week was honestly the best gift. Great hotel but not suitable for us. Fabulous welcome and all the staff very efficient and friendly. Shown to our room and initially thought ‘great’ as we were in the new block. Good size room, did lack storage (mainly drawers or shelving in cupboard) but it was manageable. The real downside was we were by the side of a very busy & loud road. The ‘garden view’ we were expecting was a gravel courtyard but it was far too noisy to sit out on balcony. Food was of good standard but after a couple of days felt very repetitive and we ended up eating out for the remaining nights. Lack of seating on an evening outside- the chairs in the vineyard were uncomfortable and some were broken. We like to sit out and play cards but not enough lighting. It is a lovely hotel overall so would depend on what you want from a holiday. Great location for getting to harbour and main area - we only ventured here during the day but was comical and ‘eye opening’

We stayed here one night due to our Tui flight being cancelled. This is a hotel that knows what it’s doing. A family business oozing with charm, great service and a level of customer service that’s hard to find. We met two of the family that owned the hotel and they were both charming. Turns out the previous 7 days were had stayed in one of their other hotels which was equally as good. Good food, lovely atmosphere and I wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for your service.
