子供も独立して還暦越えた老夫婦だけとなり大人の楽しみ方としてオーベルジュを選択した。宿は、一階がダイニングと囲炉裏のあるリビング、部屋は真ん中に吹き抜けがあり階段を上がった二階に囲むようにあり、道路側の由布院下界が見える部屋に宿泊、TVはなく、和室と2ベッドの14畳ぐらいに洗面所とトイレ付きの広い部屋、静かで落ち着く備品もアンティーク調で良き、お風呂は一階にあり、男女別々で8人入れば満杯になるような小ぶりなものですが、当然貸し切り状態、泉質は単純泉ですがメタケイ酸とカルシウムを含んでいるそうで肌に良い感じで温まる、源泉掛け流しかな、源泉が六十度ぐらいあるそうで熱くて水をガンガン入れて入った(笑) さて、食事ですが、鮎の塩焼きから始まりサーモンの焼き物、スープ、メインのステーキとどれもとても美味い！ 特にステーキは薄くカットされていてそれが抜群に旨い、包丁から全然次元が異なるとこうなるのか！と唸りました(笑) パンもめちゃくちゃ美味くて、追加で頂きました 朝食は、薬膳的で野菜と鮎の昆布甘露煮かな？ご飯を頂く日本料理の基本的感じでしたが ご飯が玄米が少し入っているのかな、めちゃくちゃ甘くてご飯だけで食べれる初めての経験をしました、ご飯が絶品！ 身体が整った感覚になり満腹感では無くバランス取れた安定感かな？そんな気分になりました、本当に初めての感覚でした、 大人が寛いで充実して楽しむ宿です！大人の方に是非来て欲しい宿だと思う 夕食時には、ウズラという名の猫も遊びに来て囲炉裏側のいすにに寝て挨拶と撫でさせてくれた事も優雅な一時でした、還暦夫婦が本当の意味で充実出来る素晴らしいオーベルジュです 最後に、お隣の空想美術館の中にある喫茶店がまたオシャレで素敵でした 由布院の中心街や金鱗湖は韓国人等外国人で溢れていて人だかりで全然心落ち着かず耐えられない状態ですが、ここは天界で下界の騒音も聞こえない本当の由布院！ いい思い出が出来ました！また泊まりたいです
