We arrived earlier than expected but parked car at hotel no problem.we jumped on a bus just outside hotel and went into town.arrived back at hotel checked in without a problem the hotel was very clean and welcoming as was our room bathroom well equipped with a very large shower we had a great night sleep and even in the morning everyone was quiet well done travel lodge

Great place to stay when visiting children attending York Uni. Easy parking, large and comfortable rooms. Nice and quiet location. Convenient to have pub food next door. Friendly and helpful staff. This is the second time we've stayed here and will return in the future.

No one was at Reception for a while when I arrived just before 10pm and the phone number was “out of service”. But the room was quiet, clean and spacious. I booked a double room but was given a double plus twin beds too.

The travelodge was spotlessly clean and the staff were very good and obliging.the room was lovely very comfotable bed, and the location was great.The checking in was excellent no hassle we were helped to our room with one of the staff which we were very gratefull.

Noisy all hours at night throughout morning with guests, friendly women from reception on Friday and Saturday Monday morning was a man but didn't chat

Nice recently refurbished hotel. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet. Reasonable size free car park, although it could do with a bit of a tidy. Nice pub next door (Black Bull) with reasonable priced meals. The hotel is on a good bus route into York centre with very regular buses. We would definitely return here when visiting York.

Very close to a busy road. However there was no untoward noise or disturbances. The hotel communal areas were clean, reception was well attended and anything I queried or requested was dealt with immediately. Really very pleased.

Have stayed here a few times on trips to the area as it’s perfect for a short, reasonably priced stay in a good location close to York University and only a few minutes from the city in an easy drive or bus ride. Basic and no-frills but a clean, large room with decent TV reception and a comfortable bed. Had a very helpful, welcoming check in from Michelle on reception.

Absolutely loved our stay at this branch of Travelodge. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. A special thank you to Michelle for her outstanding hospitality, she truly made our visit unforgettable.
