Luxury! We have stayed at these Apartments for the 3rd time in March the weekend of my husband’s birthday, and Kirsty had left a Birthday card and cake for him! We stay in Apartment 4. The features of the apartment are what make it. Oak beams, full fitted kitchen (including appliances)! The welcome pack is a touch of class, and such a kind gesture to get you started in enjoying your weekend. This is right in the heart of York, few minutes walk to all the main attractions, The Shambles, The Jorvik Centre, Clifford Tower, The City Walls! The restaurants near these apartments are excellent! A choice of Korean, Indian, Chinese, Italian! Betty’s Tea Rooms! We book our meals before we travel, a tip! Kirsty is most welcoming, the contact made before travelling first class, kept up to date on all entrance features, codes, parking facilities etc. Once again another wonderful stay! We will be back “to our little home” again! Thank you Kirsty!

We stayed in the beautiful Franklin Apartments in August, it was for a special occasion and the apartment was the perfect choice. The apartments are in a perfect location for visiting York, the information provided made them easy to find and a really useful guide to local restaurants. A very thoughtful welcome pack of wine, cake and local produce was provided for our arrival - it was a lovely touch. We won’t hesitate to recommend the apartments to family and friends. This is rental accommodation the way rental should be done! Beautifully decorated and immaculately maintained. Kirsty’s friendliness and attention to detail is second to none. Many thanks for making our stay such a pleasure.

Fab location, directly in town. Literally 1 min walk from the shambles. The room was spotless and had a gift hamper waiting when we arrived with champagne, whisky, gin, mixers and snacks. Four poster bed and a roll top claw footed bath. It was exquisite. The little courtyard was super quiet even though right in the hub of town, directly on the river. Every morning I was greeted by the local geese, ducks and swans outside the Juliette balcony. I must have had ten baths and we were only there for four nights. It was so relaxing and peaceful. Only thing is the mattress was a bit too hard for my back and hips but that’s personal preference. The place itself was faultless and really lovely friendly staff.

There is so much to like about the apartment, the facilities were excellent with everything you could possibly need provided for you. The location couldn’t be better, The Shambles, York Minster, York Dungeons and the Jorvick all within an easy walk. We met the hosts on day one and they were friendly and welcoming, we would most definitely stay again.

Simply OUTSTANDING, what more can I say. My wife and I booked an apartment from Franklin for a short stay at York for our wedding anniversary. We were astounded when we arrived at apartment 4 overlooking at the river floss. The apartment was very luxurious and immaculately prepared. The location was fantastic right in the heart of York, where you need to be. The welcoming pack of local produce was a lovely touch and we received a chocolate cake and card on our anniversary. We highly recommend Franklin apartments, and we will be returning here again.

WOW. This accommodation is totally outstanding and we will return and the reasons are * Kirsty gives you so much information and guidance to make sure that you arrive relaxed * The apartment is so luxurious and spotlessly clean * The location is the best for everything that you could ever want * The quality of the kitchen equipment, bedding. I have to say that the welcome pack was out of this world and totally way beyond what we expected and the attention to detail with butter, tonic, water in the fridge showed real class. I cannot recommend this place enough and would to say on a personal level that we visited on our wedding anniversary and there was a congratulations cake, card and a bottle of champagne sitting on the table as we arrived and a bag of ice in the freezer WOW now that’s what I call being felt welcome. Finally we will only ever stay here when we return to York

Not been since flooding and covid closures, absolutely perfect stay, beautiful apartment, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Many thanks for the lovely hamper. Great to see York so vibrant again, Fossgate is definitely on the map now. Many thanks to Kirsty and the team for a truly fabulous stay.

We have just returned from an amazing stay at Franklins apartments. The apartment was just as we had hoped for; absolutely stunning in every aspect. Beautifully decorated and finished, spotlessly clean, super comfy beds and sofa's to relax on. Everything was thought through and nothing left out that we could think of for a very comfortable stay. Including luxury champagne hamper on arrival, bathrobes, read diffusers and shampoo to Nespresso coffee and every kitchen utensil we could ever need. This is a self catering apartment and the kitchen is well kitted out. Kirsty the manager knew who we were when we arrived. This is a very professional organisation. We highly recommend Franklins as a place to stay and would definitely stay here again.

We loved this place. Here is why: 1. Location - perfectly positioned 2. Communication and bag drop off. Kristy was lovely and so accommodating. 3. Apartment had everything we needed - and bath robes. 4. Welcome package - that extra touch was incredible. 5. Secure and safe 6. Quiet 7. Bathroom shower gel. 8. Very clean and Covid safe A couple of things to note during our stay: 1. Wifi dropped out a lot and wasn’t strong enough for laptop use 2. We were kept awake by the guests upstairs - from 11pm to 3am we heard them move around and close doors. This however is not the fault of Franklin Apartments.
