River Bend Casino & Hotel

Loved this hotel, very clean and very nice staff. The room is big and more importantly a great price along with being clean & smoke free. They have a little deli that we ate it a couple of times that was not only cheap but very good. Definitely recommend it! We already have plans to go back for another visit!

We booked a trip to River bend casino to celebrate a friends birthday party. We had a total of 10 people and we all traveled approximately 3 1/2 hours here. We all had to wait nearly an hour after our scheduled check in time to get our rooms. One couple got the room key and opened their room up to find that someone already had their belongings in the room. The front desk workers were dumbfounded and had no idea how this happened or who was in the room because they only had a paper trail showing this couple getting the room. They were able to get a different room for them but they had to wait even longer to get into it. Our whole group went to Club 60 west and sat down at an empty table and everyone ordered drinks and was listening to the band. After around 20 minutes at this table a staff member (man with a small build and balding with brown hair) approached and loudly demanded that we move and that it was time to go. As we were getting up he yelled-- Go on, get moving! He said this loud enough that it could be heard from people sitting at the bar even over the band that was playing. He was aggressive and it was very unnecessary. Apparently that spot was reserved and his approach could have been far different than it was and we would've moved to another spot or went back to gambling. We all left and headed into the casino and a couple from the group discreetly went to talk to him and asked why he had to make a big scene and why he couldn't just tell us nicely and let us know we needed to move and explain that it was reserved. He replied by saying "that what I f**king said!" This staff member then decided to kick this couple out of the casino all together and made an even bigger deal because he didn't like being confronted about his approach. Check in was at 4:00(wasn't on time) and by 8:00 2 people from our group were kicked out and couldn't even gamble. It was Very unprofessional and an absolute waste of our time and money traveling so far. This man conveniently had his name badge flipped backwards so we were unable to get his name. This place was very unprofessional and wouldn't recommend traveling real far to go there and chance encountering this employee that is on a very obvious power trip. The Rooms were nice, i'll say that but unfortunately unless you are willing to go there and chance sitting in your room after dinner and by 8:00 PM--- I personally wouldn't recommend wasting your time, or money.
