Premier Inn Warrington (M6/J21)

Stayed for one night whilst visiting the area. Pretty much what you expect from Premier Inn. Clean and warm with comfortable beds. Staff all happy to help and courteous. One small gripe some of the breakfast items where a little cold Overall all a pleasant stay

A very convenient and affordable bed for the night for our family on the way back to Scotland. Really easy to find from the M6 and a comfy bed and a decent breakfast. Pretty much does what it says on the tin. Breakfast was plentiful and the children eating for free is a bonus.

When I arrived - had to wait to get into room as issue with key fob - receptionist kindly facilitated entry and opened door. However I had to notice myself that there was an onsite restaurant and that you needed a code to get out of the car park. He told me I didn’t need to book for restaurant and opening time. When I went to restaurant young girl asked if I had booked - her service was focused on males in the restaurant - they were asked if their meal was ok etc and if they needed further drinks - I could have been invisible I chose starters to eat for safety - but two were overcooked culminating in an upset stomach in the morning to the point that `i took anti diarrhoea tablet prior to my visit. Breakfast was better as were the staff - nicer attitude and interpersonal skills - effort to engage with customers I also wonder why ads say £45 or less when my company was charged 3-4 times that….price did not reflect quality

The room had a unusual musty odour which usually comes from when something gets wet and is not dried properly. Not sure if this was from the shower curtain or the carpets. The new cleaning policy of having to inform the reception is also unusual as we placed the sign on the door only to return late at night to find an uncleaned room, we did not read the NEW instructions in the room. Front desk should have informed us on check in.

Up to the usual Premier standard. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Fish and chips, cooked to perfection. Staff were lovely and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble Really comfortable bed . Great night's sleep. Hot breakfast, well cooked and good variety. Will use again

What Could Have Been Done Better 1. Staff Attitude and Professionalism: The staff during check-in could have been more welcoming and professional. A friendly and accommodating approach would have made a better first impression and set a positive tone for the stay. 2. Provision of Keycards: Offering two keycards at check-in should be standard practice for rooms with more than one guest. This would avoid unnecessary inconvenience, such as being left without lights in the room. 3. Respecting Privacy: Housekeeping should not ignore “Do Not Disturb” signs. Entering the room despite this sign was intrusive and avoidable. Ensuring that staff respect these signs is crucial for guest privacy. 4. Room Comfort: The lack of air-conditioning made the room stuffy and uncomfortable, especially during the night. Providing air-conditioning or at least ensuring proper ventilation would greatly improve guest comfort. These adjustments would have made my stay far more pleasant and aligned with the high standards I expect from Premier Inn. Thank you for taking the time to review my feedback. I hope these
