Has gone a few steps down. There are times that many little things gone wrong are a bigger problem. I am a Platinum member. I have also stayed at this Sheraton Woodbury hotel several other times. We recently visited this past Wednesday, and since it was a pleasant stay, and we did not want to move, we paid extra and decided to extend our stay through the weekend. We were met by much dissatisfaction and a series of disappointments. On the first day coffee was available for free down the hall on the 5th floor in the dining area. When I extended my stay, coffee was not available on the fifth floor where I was staying nor on the additional days I stayed . I paid extra to stay in the same room on the 5th floor, presuming I would continue to get this benefit when I am comatose in the morning. I was met by a series of disappointments when I extended my stay - from one of two elevators not working the whole time we were there resulting in extensive wait times(One time after a 5-10 minute wait we walked down the stairs only to find ourselves outside with no way back in), paying extra for the dining room and being told that my "breakfast package included only one option on the menu(not explained by the front set who suggested you can order a hot meal from the menu). On another day I got something from the buffet and the English muffin with the eggs Benedict was so dry and hard that my knife could not cut through. They advertised heart healthy nuts with the oatmeal, but wanted to charge extra if ordered on the menu(but the oatmeal in the buffet was dry and hard, as was the brick of brown sugar. Heart health nuts was not an an option with the buffet as it always is at the lesser Fairfield Inn). Towels in the room were not replaced as desired, nor did I get the extra towels my wife requested for her wet hair. On a positive note the hotels were clean and the Sheraton rooms looked nice. Overall - not a positive experience and I would not recommend this hotel where I was disappointed.
