have just returned from spending three nights at this wonderfull hotel,having not been hear before my wife and i were wondering what to expect but the minute we turned into the drive this has been the best hotel we have ever stayed at.The first person we met was Poppy at reception who was loverly and could not do enough for us.but she was the blue print for every member of staff as nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile.Now they say it starts from the top and how right they are .Peter the manager and his wife Abi have turned this wondrfull hotel into one of suffolks jewels,Peter could not do enough for us and went out of his way to make shore our stay was the best it could be,but having watched him he was the same for everybody and led by example by being hands on in all departments .Thankyou Peter for helping us have such a relaxing stay.I have mentoined a few of the staff but people i did not meat must get a mention as the food for our meals was also 5 star so a big thankyou to the cheffs and all the staff that work in the kitchen.enough of our stay if you are looking for a relaxing break in a beutiful home with staff that cant do enough for you and get food to die for this is the place look no further.

La presión del agua en la ducha es baja pero el agua caliente Las habitaciones se sientan beneficiadas de ser actualizadas algunos ******* . *TV remoto no desactivó la TV tuvo que levantarse y pop mano detrás de la puesta y desactivar en la socket. **El pelo en el baño no es mi! **No hay secador de pelo obvio. ***El servicio de habitaciones llamado dos veces extn no respondido fue a través de recepción transferida al queso de salmón crema en el marrón ordenado llegó rápidamente desafortunadamente en pan blanco. Rosa G&T delicioso. Desayuno. Bienvenido y explicación caliente ofrecida por el equipo. Barbara y Len me acomodaron muy bien en el último minuto y me alegro de que me quedé, es un ambiente rural tan pacífico en el campo con hermosas vistas por todas partes. I wasn't sure what to expect from this establishment but everything was terrific. Travelling on a great value two month 1st class Eurailpass, I arrived by Greater Anglia train punctual to the minute and walked 150 metres. The pleasant lady owner stored my case. Arriving back at 1900 on a Friday night, the bar was humming. I enjoyed a delicious seafood platter, although it lacked large prawns as I am used to in Australia and Philippines. It had a good amount of salad. Food has improved in England from my first visit 30 tears ago when dining was poor. The accommodation is not suitable for the disabled as stairs are steep. The room was spacious and delightful with the feminine touch evident in the bee theme even on the doona cover. There were two chairs, classy furniture, excellent lighting and a TV. Lamps were trendy. No aircon so on a 29 degree day the room might be stuffy. A wide range of breakfast items were supplied including yoghurt. Some were in the fridge in the corridor. The bathroom also had great shower gel and shampoo plus even cotton ear buds. Shower pressure was reasonable and hot water sufficient. Towels were good but no bathmat. One mosquito greeted me at dawn. It was dealt with. There was some intruding light early evening as no blackout curtains in the bathroom or to the side of the bed. Great to see the intermodal Freightliner and GBRailFreight trains belting through Westerfield, keeping trucks with their cowboy drivers off the congested roads. The owners here have done a great job with the hotel that at GBP60 was great value.

Was a lovely experience to stay in Ipswich, staff was lovely at holiday inn and was a lovely atmosphere and environment for me and my children for our weekend away so thank you so much for the lovely experience 😊

It's one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Rooms are spacious well equipped and comfortable. Staff are amongst the most friendly and helpful we have come across in a hotel and went out of their way to make our stay special. Food and drink were high quality, and a wide selection of both was available. Great view over the harbour from our room.
