Churchill's Hotel

Very comfy and quiet even with a band playing in the pub directly below. Owner was so helpful in getting us settled as VIO hadn't provided the right info to him. Nothing too much trouble we found no towels he was there within 15 mins and so apologetic. Allowed us a late check out for free.

Pleasantly surprised, nice clean room for a last minute trip, room was clean and modern , checking in was easy and the hotel was very accommodating as I needed to check in the room early to to prior commitment across town. Would stay again as the location and price was all good . In all honesty I would have picked this place if other options had been but would definitely stay again if needed . The pictures on the website done do it justice

The room i had was upto date very modernised staff very helpful i could not get into building after a few calls and trys so the came out and helped me the only reason why it was not a 5 start is the massive draft from the so called new windows even with the heating on it was very cold

Our room was very roomy, clean and tidy. Even though the hotel does not have a reception desk, the checking in and checking out process was very smooth with clear and precise instructions. Hotel is ideally placed for the local pubs and eateries.

I've just left the hotel with my family I got placed here bye the council as I was presented as homeless with no fault off my own . I can assure you that I will never stay here again . I have a number off reasons why ! : Bathroom dated my grandma didn't even have this bathroom. : Bedding only changed once a week : Only aloud 2 towels a week : Horried smell all way through the hotel Lastly such a horrible owner !!! One off the owners ( Danny ) was always helpful . But the second owner I believe he's named Rodger ! I have such little words to describe this hu!am being He is horried to council guests he was to a few off my friends who was also staying here and there children . He as a business man shouldn't be in this job I hope he wakes up one day and realises people have feelings . Enough said before I loose my manners something he hasn't got .

The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. My wife spoke to the cleaning lady who was very polite and helpful. There isn’t a receptionist but the instructions we received by email and text were very clear and easy to follow. Regards Mark and Claire.
