The hotel is on a busy street so parking time must be kept to a minimum, it’s a long way round to the parking at the rear of the hotel, if you have reserved a place it’s best to ask for the address. Its a very nice hotel with quite large rooms. Good bed and nice bathroom. Wifi is average. Breakfast costs €15, quite a lot for a breakfast but it’s worth every penny. As soon as you walk into the restaurant, they ask you how you like your eggs. My omelette was very good, lots of bread available and croissants. Many sorts cheese , ham , etc etc. Fresh fruitsalad, fresh coffee is brought to your table. I even saw an assortment of fish. This was the best hotel on my trip and the best breakfast.

Um ehrlich zu sein: Meine Frau suchte eine einigermaßen komfortable und dennoch bezahlbare Unterkunft in Wismar für das zweite Juniwochenende in Wismar, um dort das Hafenfest zu besuchen. Meine persönlichen Bedingungen waren: Mit Klimaanlage und Parkplatz. Bezahlbar war sie, die Unterkunft. Doch gleich nach der Ankunft stellte sich heraus, dass die Klimaanlage nicht funktioniert. Die Rückfrage bei einer der fleißigen und freundlichen Servicekräfte ergab: „Die ist leider momentan außer Betrieb. Aber die Techniker sind am Ball!“ Ich habe während unseres gesamten Aufenthaltes weder einen Ball noch einen Techniker gesehen. Das Ganze war nur eine Finte. Das versuchte Einschalten der Anlage ergab Geräusche, die eher darauf hinwiesen, das das Ding schon ewig nicht mehr läuft. Am zweiten Tag kamen wir nicht vom Parkplatz, weil die Karte falsch programmiert war, am Abreisetag kamen wir aus dem gleichen Grund nicht mehr in unser Zimmer, um es zu räumen. Alles Extra-Wege, weil es bei der Codierung der Karten dem jeweiligen Mitarbeiter egal war. Bei der Abreise wollte man von uns noch 6,00 Euro Energiezulage kassieren, was der freundliche Herr an der Rezeption nach unserem Protest wegen der Klimaanlage jedoch fallen ließ. Frühstück war OK, wenn auch nicht opulent. Ein Pool ist vorhanden, wenn auch übersichtlich und nicht zu warm. Auch Saunen in Form von Holzfässern gibt es auf dem Zwischendach. Kurzum: Wenn ich mein Hotel mit Klimaanlage bewerbe, die nicht funktioniert, grenzt das an Betrug. Wenn ich eine Energiezulage verlange, von der vorher nirgendwo die Rede war, werden die Vertragsbedingungen nicht eingehalten und ja, auch das grenzt an Betrug. Und wenn ich als Gast durch Vogelgezwitscher, Gesummse, konfliktgeladene Dialoge zwischen „Second-Chance-Partnern“, die Pranzgeschichten von E-Bikern, das Starten des abfahrenden Reisebusses, das Rollen von Koffern oder das Zuknallen von Autotüren geweckt werden will (weil wir wg. der ausgeschalteten Klimaanlage mit geöffneten Fenstertürflügeln schlafen mussten), kann ich auch zelten fahren… Dennoch kann ich die vorangegangenen Kritiken in Bezug auf den Gesamtzustand des Hotels und der zimmer nicht teilen. Ja, es ist offensichtlich alles aus den Neunzigern, aber unser Zimmer und unser Bad waren einwandfrei sauber! Empfehlung für hitzeunempfindliche E-Biker!

The hotel is strategically located in the heart of the city, at one of the side of the magnificent piazza in the centre of Wismar. It is definitely a designer hotel: very stilish, with interesting, meaningful details e.g. a perfectly equipped gym (really much better than most of the international luxury chains you would find in London or New York) or the most incredible bicycle room I’ve ever seen (I was there with friends during a tour of the Baltic by bike and I was definitely impressed). In a few words, it could have been a hotel to rate quite highly, but unfortunately my partner and I have been particularly unlucky as we have been assigned a VERY - and I mean very - small room: to give an idea of how small the room was, there was no table on one side of the bed, no light, not even a socket to recharge one’s phone. All in all my advise is: use this beautiful hotel, it is worth it, but make sure they don’t make you stay in a room that would accommodate one guest when you are two. Of course my rating will not be higher than 3 out of 5, as this is not the way you do business, especially if you manage a beautiful hotel.

Nuestra estancia ha superado todas nuestras expectativas, comenzando con el personal muy amable y muy útil en la recepción, en el servicio, incluso en el spa adyacente, y en la zona de sauna. El equipo era correcto, todo era muy limpio y mantenido. Tuvimos un buen tiempo y esperamos la próxima vez. Este hotel de resortes es definitivamente un hotel de recomendación.

We enjoyed our stay! Location was excellent, hotel and bar super nice and breakfast superior. But we found the beds hard and the bathroom incredibly small! It honestly felt like an airplane toilet!! It was cramped and at 190cm height my one knee would hit the door! Additionally the toilet roll holder would pop out and make a loud noise at night!

Nos había reservado una habitación por 1 noche en el viaje a Suecia. La habitación era pequeña, el espacio junto a la cama no estaba. La habitación y el baño estaba limpio como las toallas y los artículos de cama. El desayuno estaba bien cuidado sin que fuera muy amplio. Todo estaba presente y había una amplia selección. El personal era muy amable. El cuarto estaba bien para un paseo por la noche. Para algunas noches el cuarto es demasiado pequeño.
