Hoteles de 2 estrellas en Winter Haven

I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member. I enjoy staying at different properties across Hilton's portfolio. On a recent leisure Amtrak trip I decided to visit Winter Haven, and chose this property as it appeared relatively close to the station and nearby many chain restaurants. The walk between the station and the hotel looked to be a little dangerous, as there are no sidewalks on the road west of US 17. So I called Uber, and a short ride brought me to this hotel. I had checked in online the day before and chose my room, so I went directly there upon arrival using the Digital Key. The room was certainly ample for my needs and provided a good night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and had good counter space. No issues with hot water. The area is a busy commercial district, and as such there was a lot of traffic making it difficult to cross the street when going to my dinner place of choice. Spring Break in Winter Haven? Breakfast in the morning was good and it tided me over until my next meal back on the Amtrak train later on. Since I had enough time and the weather was beautiful, I decided to risk walking carefully back to the station. My concern with the walk along R Street was not my biggest problem. It turned out that there was heavy intersection construction at Cypress Gardens Blvd. & US 17, and all sidewalks and crosswalks were technically closed. With a suitcase it wasn't easy dodging the cones but I made it. Should have sprung for the car service in this direction too. Overall I recommend this property and would stay there again.

El mando del baño se rompe y habían venido a la habitación a las 8:00 pm con 2 niños pequeños a casi las 9:00 pm para repararlo. ¡Me habían cargado $10 por un lavabo que no usé. ¡Llevo mi propio por razones sanitarias! ¿Imagina si esto ocurre a todos los huéspedes? Hmm, voy a entrar en contacto con Trip, HJ y Wyndham.

Este lugar me sorprendió, es tan asequible, un gran paisaje y una ubicación, hermosas habitaciones y hotel. Ya estoy reservando de nuevo, no quiero irme.

My husband and I were UNLUCKY enough to have lived at the Winter Haven Gardens for 3 months. The staff there are ignorant and DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TREAT A GUEST. We were very disappointed in the front desk employees down to the maid service. The management (if you can call them that) have a long way to go and more to learn just to bring them up to be polite and helpful. If any of the management there worked for me, well let's just say they would never work for me. But your management is only as good as the owner and his willingness to pay for good help. Your management should set the pace and the atmosphere of the hotel. The management, especially the head of the maid service and dining room, is the worst of all of them. She gets into everyone's business, even the guests. They never had.any clean towels or clean linen. I ended up buying my own. The washers and dryers there are filthy and leak water. Most of the washers take your $2.50, and the machine never turns on. It was hit or miss with the dryers too. And don't think you're going to get a quarterback when you lose it, because the front office will tell that the sign says that you wash at your own risk. I thought that sign meant that if your laundry was stolen, they were not going to be responsible. But I guess that's a sign with many meanings!! The room was nice and I kept it clean. I did a much better job than the maids did. But if I were getting paid the money that they are getting paid to do that job and work for nasty people, then I would not care about the job that I did either. There are too many dogs there. The room had a wet dog smell about it when we first got there. And our No Smoking Room smelled like they hadn't taken the curtains down to wash since the day they were hung. The bedspread smelled like smoke too. There was trash in the breezeway and on the weekends, the team would pile up outside of the overstuffed trash cans all around the property. The management Do Not Know was ice was. You can not get a piece of ice anywhere in that hotel. They have several ice machines in the breezeways, but not one of them works, kind of like the washing machines there. This is a terrible place to go and stay. Their prices are high and the quality thereof everything is low. If you want to go to a decent hotel, then go next door to the Howard Johnsons Hotel. At least they are still run by Americans......

¡Por el precio no se puede vencer! Este es un motel de historias más antiguo con todas las habitaciones abiertos al exterior. No se ofrece desayuno, pero parecía que tenían café en la mañana. La oficina delantera y el personal de mantenimiento de la casa fueron muy amables! *Nota* El mantenimiento de la casa comienza sus rondas temprano (8am)! Mi habitación era enorme, incluso con una cama real. Se podría adaptar fácilmente a una reina que explota una matrícula en el piso. La habitación era limpia, pero podría utilizar algunos detalles/profundos limpieza en las zonas más difíciles para limpiar. La cama era mediocre en el confort - no tan dura como el piso, pero tampoco suave. Las galletas eran planos y llenas. Sin embargo, dormimos muy bien todas las 4 noches. Se ofrece televisión por cable. La ducha es grande - espacial con agua muy caliente. El champú y la loción huele bien. Todo el piso de la habitación es tela. La silla de escritorio era sorprendentemente cómoda! Compraría una para casa si supiera dónde la han encontrado. El mini refrigerador funcionó muy bien! Mi pequeña botella de agua se congeló un poco. También se ofrece una microondas. It's a quiet area (unless a diesel vehicle is parked near and starts up before you are awake). Race Trac is within walking distance for snacks, lunch, & ice cream. I'd stay here again. As the title states, it's a great value for the area. Si usted es “picky” o espera perfección, este no es el motel para usted.

My sister and I went to visit my aunt that has dementia. We were very impressed with the cleanness and the excellent customer service. The kitchen lady was awesome and complimented us and the front desk person called and set me up on the awards program. It was a wonderful experience. Thank all of the workers at the best western in winter haven.

Muy limpio hotel estadía. Desk frontal tan útil y considerado. Los niños comen gratis en el restaurante en el sitio. Nos quedamos por la conveniencia de estar cerca de Legoland. Muchos restaurantes y compras diferentes en la misma calle que el hotel. Nuestro hotel con pases anuales a legoland

I'd rate the hotel 10 stars, based on the staff alone. I was forced to make an unplanned detour while on vacation in Florida, due to mandatory evacuations. I randomly chose Winter Haven as far enough inland for safety. The staff was so welcoming, very pleasant and professional. Based on how busy the hotel was while I was there, I am sure they experienced an influx of guests in my same situation, but handled the influx with grace and professionalism. Front Desk staff was there to answer my questions about the area - offering dining suggestions etc. Tishann, Ellie and the younger gentleman (whose name I can't recall) in particular were particularly gracious. The staff at the Bistro were very nice. Housekeeping were among the most pleasant I have encountered in my travels, always saying hi with a smile as you walk by. The hotel grounds and room were very clean. The Bistro served coffee, good breakfast and dinner food in an inviting environment. There is a small pool which overlooks a man-made lake. I did not get a chance to use this due to the weather. Location is very convenient to a number of restaurants, shopping and a Publix. I may never get back to Winter Haven, but if I do, this will be my choice of where to stay. Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the lake!
