Americas Best Value Inn and Suites Winnie

Americas Best Value Inn and Suites Winnie ★★

📍 134 Spur 5, Winnie

"This hotel looked fine, and the price was reasonable. Hallway had a prisony feeling to it. No batteries in smoke alarm in the room, pillow cases had yellow stains on them, kitchen cabinets were disgusting and messages on the soap bars made me fee like some illegal activity might be happening here? Shower was great and beds were comfortable, so they still get an average rating."

"The WiFi password is bad. WiFi is nonexistent. There is a pool, but the water is black and full of frogs. 0/10. The electrical outlets are a death trap and a fire hazard. When you use lignin a phone charger the outlets are so loose the prongs fall out and the outlet sparks. Bad experience 100%. They’re cheap for a reason. You’re taking your life and safety in your hands if you stay here. Very slack and shoddy and dangerous. Your room could burn down in your sleep. 50/50 chance. There is zero maintenance or attention to safety here. This is my last night here forever."

Traveling with friends
Americas Best Value Inn and Suites Winnie ★★
"This is a well priced motel with extra room features: a small kitchenette in addition to the usual fridge and microwave. It was clean and quiet. For a 3 night stay they actually came in after 2 days and tidied up a little and changed the towels. A few disappointments: toilet very low, hair drier falling apart (still working) and coffee provided for the room was quite weak, requiring lots of creamer to make it drinkable."

"Grass not mowed. No wifi general neglect too Close to the freeway had to play our small electric radio in order to sleep. It was a great Price but we won’t be back. They don’t seem to care. At all. Some of the rvs here had been here a while I own a business and if I Couldn’t afford a maintenance person I would At least tidy up and mow the grass myself."
