We had booked the specific hotel mostly for the childrens' activities and facilities in the hotel as well as other activities in the area which were advertised on the hotel's website as being included in the price (the cost of the activities would be deducted from the hotel bill at check out), or at a discount when being a resident of the hotel. Upon arrival I specifically enquired about these activities and I was told by a staff member (that did not speak english at an adequate level) that all information is on the website and that I should scan the QR code found in my hotel room to see the activities details. After scanning the QR code, I could not find anywhere on the website clearly which activities are included in the price, which were at discount and which are at full extra cost. Later on the first day (around 9:00-9:30 pm), I went back to the reception to ask for clarifications. There was only 1 staff member present in the reception area. This staff member seemed to be serving both the reception and the adjacent bar. I asked again for a clear list of activities and their prices / discounts. I got the same response that everything was on the website, so I specifically showed him from the hotel website some activities (summer toboggaging, high ropes course, cable cars and chair lifts) and he confirmed to me that these activities are included in the price (i,e, that you pay for them and then get these paid amounts deducted from your final bill). The next day we went for the Wurbauerkogel Chairlift, and the toboggaging. While on the mountain, I called the hotel and the same staff member that I had spoken to the previous night answered the phone. I asked whether the archery activity is included in the price, to which he confirmed that it was included, and I specifically enquired whether it was fully deducted from the price or only a discount would be made and he confirmed that it was fully deducted. In terms of the activities organised by the hotel and advertised on the website, again no list could be provided apart from the weekly schedule of the childrens club which was provided to us in German and we were told to look on the website for the English version. Upon a couple of enquiries at the reception for these, we were directed to ask the person at the Children's club, which we did, to realize that the person was completely unaware of some of these activities (footgolf, family golf, fishing for kids, chaos family puzzle hunt, snow torch-lit walks) and he was going to check and come back to us. He only called us back on the end of the day while we asked in the morning (bearing in mind that we had booked a 3 night stay), to say that these activities are not provided. Before reading the next section for context I should clarify that this is a family run hotel and the family is fully involved in running the hotel.
