Countrywide Cottages

The most amazing pet friendly place we have stayed at. It is the sort of holiday escape that should be kept a secret. Forget about our two nut cases enjoying themselves. The two humans relaxed more knowing that it was truly a pet friendly space.

In addition to the idyllic setting, our wonderful hosts provided us with all we needed. Spotlessly clean cottage with lots of extra wood for the fire, complimentary home baked cookies for humans and dogs, seed for the wild birds and an abundance of knowledge for exploring the district. We loved the well-maintained walks through Di & Stuart’s property and meeting their animal menagerie. The yard was securely fenced, so we knew our dogs were always safe. Thank you for a lovely few days - we’ll definitely be back.

What an amazing hidden gem ! The cottage was absolutely beautiful ! Everything you need is there in these comfortable cottages ! There is not a thing that has been missed ! 10/10 for cleanliness ,beds super comfy , beautiful serenity , fur baby loved it there ! The birds come up to you for a feed . Amazing place for humans and their furbabies. Dogs had fun running around in fenced paddocks and swimming in the dam. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed watching the parrots that visited every day. Very happy.

We will be back! The cottages are in such a peaceful, relaxed location where you can do as little or as much as you like. Due to family circumstances we chose to do the ‘as little’ option. However lots to do in the area should you wish and cottages are secured to leave the fur babies behind if you need to. My dogs had an absolute blast, they were so well catered for which is hard to find. My daughter was excited to catch a yabbie. Only a short drive from Melbourne too. Our cottages was pristine clean upon arrival. Great communication from the owners. My dogs didn’t stop smiling the whole time!

We were all very happy to spend a very comfortable holiday there. The villa is very well maintained with heating in every bed. Our son was very impressed with the various birds that kept arriving right on the balcony and backyard. We were very happy with 11 fresh chicken eggs and managed to catch 9 yabbies in the pond. Amazing experience!
