The Beach House

The Beach House Curaçao is a wonderful quaint unit, right on Mambo Beach. A few things to be aware of; these are literally apartments with exceptional views, it is important to know that the air-conditioning is ONLY in the Bedrooms, the Living Room/Kitchen areas are NOT air-conditioned,. additionally the Hotel does not have any Restaurants or Bars on the premises, yet there are numerous restaurants and bars within a 5-minute walk. All that being said, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Beach House Curaçao. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

The Beach House is a good budget- friendly choice on Mambo Beach. The apartment has everything you need to cook basic meals while staying there. The master bed was comfortable, but the twin beds had minimal padding/comfort. As others have mentioned, only the bedrooms are air-conditioned. Mambo beach has quite a few excellent restaurant and bar options. If you stay here more than a few days, you will definitely want to rent a car (we recommend D and D Car Rental). There are many local grocery stores, but the ones closest to Mambo Beach are sketchy. It is worth driving a bit farther to get fresh produce and options for dairy, meats, etc that seem safe. Staff at the Beach House are very kind and helpful.

Beautiful apartment in a perfect location on Mambo Beach. The apartment was luxurious and comfortable. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I would return in a heartbeat. I suggest buying groceries from a local store or using their grocery service. Overall the place was well worth the reasonable price ! My only comment was that we had to pay for beach chairs so be prepared on that front. We were told by Beach House staff that we were allowed to use them at certain spots, but we always had to pay to do so. But, irrespective of that minor inconvenience, I would still highly recommend this place to anyone!

While the management did fix many of the problems with this accommodation when they were brought to their attention, it was unacceptable to be stuck with a nonfunctioning unit to begin with. The air conditioning was broken and, when fixed, was only available in the bedrooms and not in the living room or kitchen. The stove did not work. There were no kitchen towels or detergent for the sink in the kitchen. The view was advertised as ocean view but neglected to mention a very unattractive building in front that blocked much of the view. A distressing way to spend a vacation when we had to continually ask the management to address the problems with the unit before we had a functioning situation.

I rented a studio apartment on the lower level directly across from the pool. The apt was well equipped (small kitchen) and spacious. The bathroom shower was absolutely what I needed after a long day at the beach. The shower was huge! The shuttle service to the supermarket twice a day and direct beach access was a plus! Being able to party on the beach and head back to your room in less than 5 minutes was a plus!!! I partied every night. I read a few reviews where people said they paid twice for beach access (chair and access). This was not the case for me. I only paid for my chair at the beach club I stayed at for the day. No one ever asked me for an access fee. Easy access to the bus that goes into town (Punda) where you can see the floating bridge. The bus was $2. The Punda is an amazing place! I took the shuttle over and walked back over the floating bridge. I found a small Cuban restaurant there and the food was absolutely amazing. Great place, location and customer service! Shoutout to Tiana for assisting me with all my needs!
