We loved this place not only for its breathtaking view and idyllic location on a stunning, peaceful, almost deserted beach, but also for the incredible care and love poured into every detail. The decor and management by Vanessa,Paul , and their amazing team reflect such thoughtfulness that you can’t help but feel warmly welcomed and truly special, making it hard to leave. The interior is beautifully designed and impeccably clean, adding to the overall charm. We will definitely be back!

We have been at the Mes Amis Guesthouse with a large group and it couldnt be better. Vanessa and Paul were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The rooms and the location were fantastic. All the rooms have the most wonderful ocean view, I ve ever seen. Breakfast was delicious and Cat, the manager was the best! Thanks so much vor everything! We definetly come back and enjoy this little paradise again!

A fabulously situated and professionally run bed and breakfast. Wonderfully appointed rooms overlooking a stunning and empty beach. Vanessa and Paul are consummate hosts, friendly, full of hints and ideas on what to do, where to eat etc. A lovely breakfast was served with cheerful and welcoming staff. We enjoyed three wonderful days and nights and would not hesitate to recommend you stay here - we will certainly be back next time. Thank you very much. Val and Rob, London.

right from the start you know that this place is special. from the amazing views to the warmth of your hosts Vanessa and Paul, the beautiful calming decor of all the rooms and common areas. they are a lovely couple who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and tell you all about the area. the rooms are very comfortable and have beautiful views of the ocean. we watched tv in the common area and had a chat we them and felt like you were just hanging out with friends. they know their clients and will go out of their way for you. their breakfast was lovely and their staff are very nice. so do yourself a favour and stay in this wonderful place but stay longer than one night, as i wish we did.

We spent 2 wonderful nights at Mes Amis. Lovely hosts Paul and Vanessa, always trying their best to please. And was really nice for them to cater for Muslim guests. Water sprayers in bathrooms and special arrangements for breakfast too. Beautiful view of the ocean from our room. Modern and new room decor. Delicious breakfast with a good variety. We will be back, God willing and encourage our friends to come enjoy Mes Amis.

the host vanessa and the whole team were just amazing! they helped us with all our questions. the view of the guesthouse ist just stunning. sitting at the breakfast table and seeing dolphins, what an experience! a really wonderful place to stay!!!

We stayed two nights in this excellent guesthouse while visiting friends in Wilderness for a birthday party. We had seen the photos on line, and wanted to be overlooking the sea, and the place really lived up to these images. We had a very comfortable and quiet room with a little patio and sliding glass doors overlooking the gorgeous long beach below. The owners couldn't have been nicer, and they have obviously worked very hard to renovate this guesthouse and turn it into the gem that it now is. The room had a mini-fridge and coffee/tea makings, a big modern bathroom (also with views), and plenty of space. Breakfast was really excellent, with everything you could want, including fruits, muesli, yogurt and breads, as well as omelets and other hot food to order. There is parking in a secure parking lot at the property. There is direct beach access down some wooden stairs just off the parking lot, highly recommended to do long beach walks when you visit. We look forward to staying again in future! Thank you, and sorry for the delay in posting this review!

Hands down, this is Garden Route / South Africa at its best. The breathtaking location, the utterly friendly owners, the spacious rooms…we truly fell in love with wilderness and everything around it. Mes Amis is a place where we felt as friends rather guests.

Stunning location, decor and welcome. Never been happier to give a 5 star rating and recommendation. Recently refurbished with exceptional taste and under new management, this is the perfect Garden route spot to stop. Highly recommended.
