We had the most amazing stay at Escape to the Beach, a real treat and a couple of days of pure indulgence. We were greeted by Sarie who could not have been any more welcoming and was the perfect host throughout our stay. A true gem and an amazing asset to the property - Sarie runs everything with precision and finesse. Fantastic location, right on the beach and a short walk to restaurants and bars in Wilderness. We stayed in the Southern Right Suite which was luxury in every sense. The most comfortable beds and linens, stylish design and wonderful views of the ocean. Little extras like candles for the bath, sun cream and after sun in the bathroom were a really nice touch. Breakfast buffet was delicious as were hot options from the kitchen and the complimentary drinks and snacks throughout the day made it all the more enjoyable spending time lounging around the pool. We could not have been happier with our stay and would not hesitate to recommend Escape to the Beach to anyone looking for the ultimate unwind. We arrived as guests and left feeling like friends and we can't wait to return!

This has to be one of the best places we have ever stayed in It’s very hard to fault the place or its staff in any way. We would give it 11 /11 if it were possible We will be back for sure A M A Z I N G !!! We have already recommended the place to friends here in S A and those back in the UK

Nice and cosy b&b gust house, beautiful view, excellent hospitality, delicious breakfast , free snacks dessert and beverages, free wifi , i’m glad to choose this place to my honeymoon , I would definitely recommended to anyone wanna visit the wilderness , i will come again

Escape to the beach is sensational. From the rooms, personal touches, incredible ocean views, interiors and the staff, this hotel deserves every inch of recognition. Sarie welcomed us as if we were family and made our stay so special. Staying here is a must if you are travelling the garden route. We cannot wait to return.

This was by far the best accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. The rooms were incredibly clean, modern, and stylishly furnished. The staff were unbelievably friendly, with Sarie and Lyle being especially professional and personable. It felt like we were personally invited to Sarie’s home – that warm and welcoming. Snacks and drinks were all included in the price, which was a great touch. And the view? Absolutely phenomenal! We will definitely be coming back again and again. Simply perfect in every way!!

Escape to the Beach provides truly exceptional accommodation and hospitality. The facilities are great and manager Sarie and her staff are amazing. A great breakfast and guests have access to a well stocked complimentary bar. Fantastic location overlooking the beach and easy to walk to restaurants in the village.

It is beautiful property in beautiful setting, just on the dune literally in the ocean. The sound of the waves grounds you and you will sleep like a baby. Rooms are highest standard, combined with award wining interior design very well looked after. Great concept, feels more like a holiday home than a lodge. Two very nice souls Sari and Lyl will show you what true hospitality is about and will make you feel home immediately. Don’t miss it…

We stayed there for 2 nights and can highly recommend that place. We felt welcomed, service is exceptional, wide range of offerings for breakfast and complementary bar including excellent South Africa wine. It’s located right on the beach and excellent local restaurants are within walking distance. From the beautiful terrace one can see and hear the see and the pool is heated ... thank you very much and hope to see you again
