Drury Plaza Hotel Broadview Wichita

What an amazing experience from arrival to departure. Location - this hotel is located downtown next to the river walk and many local event centers. After a long travel day it was such a treat to walk about the area and enjoy all it had to offer. Hotel - the hotel lobby is a gift to those who appreciate history and architecture. The original floors, quirky mailbox and chandeliers take the guest back in time. The rooms were comfortable, well designed, and exceptionally clean. Mezzanine- spacious, inviting, with hints of old and new world Food - the 5:30 kickback had a nice variety of food options and beverages, alcoholic and nonalcoholic. We especially enjoyed the Alfredo with chicken. Staff - as amazing as everything else was it is the staff that made our stay exceptional. Amanda at the front desk was so welcoming and enjoyed sharing some of the history of the building and the town. It was obvious she loved her job and felt very valued as an employee. After we settled Amanda even found time to show us the mural. it did not disappoint. The next morning we met Michelle - who I must say is just the ray of sunshine we needed at 6:00am. Again we were welcomed and reminded that if there was anything we needed she was there to assist. Like Amanda, regardless of how busy they were their guest were their priorities. It was such a joy to visit with both Amanda and Michelle. Overall - it is so obvious the management team and owner value their employees. The respect they have for their employees is passed on to their customers. Hats off to all for going above and beyond.

My partner and I had a wonderful romantic weekend at this hotel, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. We were greeted with a warm welcome, and check-in was seamless. Our room was stunning, with elegant decor, a comfortable king-sized bed, and a private balcony with breathtaking views of the surrounding area. It felt like a true escape from the everyday. The ambiance throughout the hotel was perfect for couples seeking a quiet, romantic atmosphere. The attention to detail made all the difference – we were pleasantly surprised to find rose petals arranged on the bed, along with a handwritten note from the staff and a complimentary bottle of champagne. The spa was a highlight of our stay. We booked a couples’ massage, which was both relaxing and rejuvenating, leaving us feeling refreshed. Dining at the hotel’s restaurant was also a memorable experience. The candlelit setting and gourmet dishes made for an intimate and enjoyable meal. The hotel’s location was ideal, offering a peaceful retreat while being close to key attractions. Overall, we had an unforgettable stay and highly recommend this hotel for couples looking for a romantic getaway.

The hotel is located along the river. Has a great view. Very clean hotel. The grounds are well kept. Free breakfast and dinner are a plus. We enjoyed the spa. Short walk to Keeper of the Plains. The 100 year old building has been remodeled and well maintained. Short drives to local attractions. Great stay!

A beautiful hotel and great location for leisure walks along the river walk. Close to several cultural attractions including the Wichita Art Museum , All American Indian Museum, Botanical, Century II, and the hip commercial district of Delano. The hotel could use more interior direction signage and an orientation map, as well as a listing of services provided, and local attractions. It would also be great if they upgraded their internet to include Netflix or other movie streaming platforms, even for additional expense to user.

This hotel is fabulous! Wonderful pool, terrific hot tubs - one inside, and one outside on the rooftop overlooking the river with comfortable couches around it. The rooms are great , beds so comfortable. And to top it all off, they serve a hot breakfast every morning that is delicious and has such a great variety of hot and cold foods. Not only that, but they serve food from 5:30-7:00 pm that is a full dinner. There is popcorn during the day and sodas and ice water all day long. Super nice servers. I highly recommend staying here. I will be back! And the grounds are so pretty too. You can walk along the river, park in a garage with a skyway to the hotel so you don’t have to be concerned about weather!

BEAUTIFUL hotel! It was meticulously clean and right in the center of historic down town. Breakfast was delicious and the kickback was also good and a great perk! Easily one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. Try dinner from AVI as well, it was extremely reasonably priced for the portions and quality.

The Good: Very comfortable bed and the room was very nice and clean. The nightly kick back puts the large hotels chains to shame. The menu was very good. Three drinks to include bourbon and wine. Hot popcorn. Teri and Costello were superb in delivering excellent customer service. Management should recognize them for their service. Indoor hot tub and pool along with an outdoor hot tub. Covered parking. Free breakfast. The Bad: Train horns woke me up but not the hotel fault. Overall great experience definitely worth it and will return.

Our first experience at a Drury, and after this amazing experience, we've decided to seek out these hotels for our future travel! Free happy hour - with good drinks and good food. Super friendly staff. Legitimately every single staff member we interacted with was so kind, helpful, and friendly. There was one employee, in particular, I do not remember his name, but he worked the evenings at the happy hour - refilling food and tidying up. Every day, he asked how our day was, and what adventures we'd gone on that day. He gave us recommendations for other fun Witchita activities. It was so personal. Clean and comfortable rooms. Housekeeping does an excellent job. Easy location. I may not get to come back to Kansas, but I will definitely be back to a Drury Hotel!

The Drury Wichita is an awesome hotel. Great rooms, awesome pool, fitness gym, laundry facility and hot tubs as well. Great views. Kickback breakfast and dinners were just awesome! Very well laid out rooms and facility. Will look for Drury hotels in every city I visit. Thanks Joe
