My husband and I went to Whitefish last week for a vacation. We stayed at the Good Medicine Lodge for 7 nights. We had a great stay. The staff that work there are SO nice and helpful. We had a good breakfast every morning. There were always snacks sitting out for us to have, if we wanted them. There were cookies sitting in a large glass container every day for us. There is a large "living room" area with a fireplace. There is also a smaller "TV room." There is a firepit and hot tub outside. We did not use those on this trip. Our room was comfortable and large enough for us. The "SNOWBUS" has a stop right in front of this place. It's close to downtown and about 15 min away from the ski area. We want to come back sometime during the summer/fall, and we definitely will stay here!

What a magical Christmas week with a balance of adventure and relaxation. Whitefish is one of those rare destinations where you can fly in or take the Amtrak, with no need to rent a car. Good Medicine Lodge was close enough to walk into town, and we took the free Snowbus to the mountain. We went to dinner at another lodge one night, which was also nice, but it was also really nice and a relief to go back to Good Medicine Lodge as our home base. It’s beautiful, intimate, and the team is outstanding — Shayla, Meghan and Megan. Shayla proactively handled an issue as soon as she caught wind of it, and made us comfortable, welcome, and joyful throughout our stay. Plus, the croque madame she made was my favorite meal in Montana.

By far the place to stay in Montana. I had such a wonderful and relaxing stay! My room was perfect, spotless, and cozy. The staff was attentive to my every need. The breakfasts were homemade yumminess! A lot of care and effort goes into making their guests comfortable. The lodge is within walking distance to downtown Whitefish so it is convenient for sightseeing.

We stayed at this lodge for a yoga and hiking retreat. The staff was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. The accommodations were super comfortable, food was delicious, and having access to endless snacks was great. Good location for day trips in the the park for hiking.

Good Medicine may just be the nicest B&B we have ever stayed in. Beautifully appointed, friendly and helpful innkeepers, sumptuous fresh breakfasts, pastries and cookies, nice common sitting areas where you can hobnob with fellow travelers, comfy bed, close (walking distance!) to two splendid dinner places, short drive to Glacier NP west entrance. I highly recommend this beautiful B&B. The innkeeper is very sweet and so accommodating and had great recommendations for things to do. The breakfasts were delicious and all of the extras from wine, candy, free washing machine and the cookies were to die for.

What a wonderful place to stay! Well organized, staff so kind, prepared for dietary needs, lots of snacks, games, lots of nice sitting areas. At the same time not precious and crowded with breakables and omnipresent innkeepers like some B&Bs. Stayed 5 nights with 3 friends in a 2BR 2 bath suite which was perfect for us. AC units were loud (they are aware and working on this) but was just glad to have them as AC not always a given in Montana. Could not have been more satisfied!

What a wonderful place to stay ! Felt like home away from home. The set up is perfect - you can relax after a day of hiking, biking, the beach, etc. Rooms, beds, the entire place is clean and comfortable. The staff is amazing. Friendly, courteous and welcoming. The breakfast and snacks, drinks, etc were presented and prepared wonderfully. Thanks for a fantastic stay !

This is one of the most special places we’ve stayed. There’s so much attention to detail: the amazing breakfasts, delicious, homemade cookies, baked fresh daily, snacks, and soft drinks, as well as wine and beer available 24 seven, fire pit and a hot tub. Our room had a balcony with chairs overlooking the backyard . The brewery next-door was an additional plus as well as the Mexican restaurant across the street. And our favorite extra was whitefish Lake where we enjoyed great afternoons!
