Check in instructions are outdated & incorrect. We ran around for hours. Parking is away from site. Not ADA friendly. Furniture on last legs. Blinds broken. Sink backed up. No handrails in shower. Whistler itself is magnificent but we came off season and missed out on nearly all activities. Many places closed. Site is away from main village 2 miles away. RCI needs to do a better job evaluating these properties. We also spend a lot on maintenance fees to come on vacation & have to take out our own garbage and dump it a block away. I’m surprised they don’t instruct you to vacuum & strip the beds but that’s probably coming….

Lake Placid Lodge by Whiski Jack is a 3 star resort in Whistler. We had a one bedroom unit with kitchen and a mountain view. There was a hated outdoor pool and hot tub as well as BBQ facilities. Parking was free and convenient. This was a good location being walking distance to the gondola , shopping and hikes. We were also a short drive to the Upper Village where all the action is - restaurants, shops, activities, clubs. Overall, we were pleased with our holiday at this resort.

The unit is clean. It is close to the skiing area and shopping malls. Most of everything can be reached by walking and no car is needed. It has enough utensils for the kitchen. However, there were kids running in the hallway and quite noisy.

We booked this resort through RCI.The location of the resort was excellent being very close to the Creekside gondola. The unit had everything you needed, the kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable and the unit was clean. The only negative was that the water pressure was quite low while taking a shower.

nice resort close to upload for skiing no car needed when you are there hot tub and sauna and pool kitchen was well equipt with everything you need . no lemon squeezer bring your flip flops for the pool the grocery store nesters is a good place to get your groceries we like to visit the re use it centre for used clothing and skii stuff. the whistler brewing company is a great place to visit .

I have stayed in Lake Placid Lodge about 5 times and it is a great location for getting onto the Whistler Creekside gondola it is about 4/5 mins walk. The lodge and accommodation are usually very good and we have never been disappointed with which apartment we stay in. There is a small supermarket again within about 5 mins walk. If you want to get into whistler village if you have a car (there is underground parking available) or alternatively you can hop on a bus round to the main village. Creekside is a great location whilst it can be busy it is never as busy as the ski lifts in the main village.

Comfortably furnished, and kitchen is well stocked. The water in the shower never got more than warm and was sometimes just tepid. I tried various times in the afternoon and evening, and the water never got hot, Terrible water flow, too. Bedroom looked fine but smelled of dirty bodies.

We enjoyed a comfortable two night stay in a one bedroom apartment. Although we made little use, the fully equipped kitchen and washing machine would be useful facilities to many. The Lodge is situated about 3 miles (5km) from Whistler village. With few local restaurants we used the regular shuttle bus from the stop just outside to make the journey to the village for meals each evening. The free car parking in the garage below the Lodge was very welcome.

There are much better options in the Whiski Jack suite of resorts. This one has no staff, is old, unkept, and dirty. Upon check-out staff were dismissive of my concerns about cleanliness and room maintenance given the $150 housekeeping fee. Creekside is a lovely part of Whistler but we were very disappointed.
