Lyndale Guest House

A warm reception from Roger gave us all the info needed for a comfortable stay. The room was clean and inviting with all the usual refreshment choices. A good choice given for breakfast in the front room with a sea view. We enjoyed our weekend stay. We will go back.

We had a wonderful stay at Lyndale Guest House in a sea view room. Sylvia and Roger were very welcoming and helpful. They saved us a parking space which was free of charge for 24 hours. Breakfast was pre-ordered and very good quality. We will definitely come back there again.

Lyndale was the best B&B we have stayed in. Roger and Sylvia are delightful, so warm and welcoming. They respond very promptly to any queries. We stayed in a sea view room and experienced a stunning sunrise on the first morning. The room was spacious and comfortable with lots of little touches that added to the positive experience. The breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit and a perfectly cooked full English. We have stayed in a number of places in Weymouth but next time, Lyndale will be our first choice accommodation. I can recommend it wholeheartedly.

Well, thanks Sylvia and roger, from the moment we arrived we knew we would be happy, comfortable and well fed. The room spotless, the bed comfy and a view of the sea 20 feet away through our bedroom bay window was great, if not for commitment to come home would have stayed longer, cannot fault the place, the room, the food or the hosts. We had such a great stay here and I would highly recommend coming here! The room was perfect and as described, the bed was really comfy and had everything we need. The location is perfect being close to the station and town. We had a lovely view of the sea whilst eating breakfast which was great. Breakfast is included in the price and was lovely. The hosts are very friendly and we would defiantly love to return. We didn’t have a sea view room which was fine as our room was great, but we did see the view of the sea from the sea view room and we will be looking to return and book this room as it looked amazing.

We stayed here for a week as part of a Summer Holiday at the end of August 2023 Our Second Visit to Weymouth and second time at Lyndale A large group of 9 with ages ranging from 10 to 75 The accommodations were all very nice and clean, traditional and pleasant Situated in a beachfront cul de sac, so no through traffic meant it was quiet and safe for the children, plus no noisy traffic at night allowing you to keep the windows open and listen to the sea. The Host family Sylvia, Roger and Conor were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble and had plenty of advice when we were asking about things to do Breakfast was great and they even kept our vegetarians happy Location location location when it comes to the beach….it’s right opposite and the sea was waist height so safe for the kids, and it was nice and warm to play in. We were in it every day. Beautiful views straight from the bedroom. Short stroll into town for all central amenities, good local bus services and we used the car to go that bit further out. Lyndale was a great stay for the whole family We have already booked the Lyndale for next years visit
